I ordered a mirror that had an expected delivery date of three months. It's been one YEAR and I don't have the mirror yet. No one from the store (Tysons Galleria) provides any updates on the status. While we were happy to work with Omnia in the store and were excited about our order (more than 20 pieces for our living and dining room), the delivery process has been a nightmare. We were initially told that the delivery time would be 12 weeks. Now, after 14 weeks, I'm learning that it will likely be at least another 12 weeks before our furniture is delivered (6 months instead of 3 months!). Communication and follow-up about delivery have been TERRIBLE. I cannot recommend ordering from BoConcept. Go with Crate & Barrel instead!! read more

3/21/21 Met up with Grace (who is in training) and she told me Boconcept is a company in Denmark. This store open in May of 2019. Some of the employees do speak speak Danish. I noticed all the employees wore black with the shoes being a different color for the ladies. All the furniture can be changed up if you don't like the color. You can change out some of the furniture to a two seats or a family size. The furniture is also made like IKEA does. This could be annoying, but that depends on the individual. The items are on the pricey side, but this is a high end mall. Still I liked what I saw and I am sure one day I might get something from here. She knew everything in showroom, she is patient to listen my needs and recommend appropriate options. She is also fast responsive to whatever question I had. Keep me updated about the shipment. Cause it's from offshore and bit processy. It arrives on time at the end. Go find LINA, LINA, LINA. Delivery team, Laurence is flexible with delivery availability. The delivery staff definitely provides the best service. They're careful about not just the furniture, but also my wall, stairs, and floors. They got all the protection gears, blanket, wrapping paper, etc with them. They install and adjust furnitures to whatever I want, take out all packaging. I don't need to do anything. this is about a pleasant and helpful service...And what a contrast, but a mall away. Came back about 10 says later to a diff't BoC to see the same furniture we came to Georgetown to see (see the earlier Georgetown review). The Tyson's sales consultant who communicated beforehand, knew the furniture in detail, did some CAD scale mockup , provided good advice on color, gave us fabric samples, and has followed up. And another pleasant sales person (or store manger?) who said hello. I guess we caught the other store on a remarkably bad (please ignore us no matter what) day. But the G-town store manager reached out to hear what happened shortly after-- proper service recovery-- and I am grateful for that kindness. (But what we get, we'll get from tysons) read more

At BoConcept, with the help of design consultant Julie Bareits, we found what we had not been able to find anywhere else: a beautiful 51" round pedestal table that expands to seat 8 and stores its own extension leaf in the tabletop. The ingenious expansion mechanism allows one person to open and expand the weighty table with ease, while the table remains perfectly centered. It is both a work of art and an engineering marvel. What has made our "customer experience" even more special has been the top-notch professional service and personal attention BoConcept has given--before, during, and well after the sale. Over the past two years, I have called Julie and members of the installation team to ask questions about table maintenance or operation; they always respond promptly, with clear explanations (even offering to come out and demonstrate again!). Last month, I noticed that the tabletop, when viewed in a certain light, seemed to have lost some of its initial luster in places, and, if I squinted, I could see part of a dim ring left by a glass of ice water. I also noticed a tiny black spot on the tabletop. None of these areas was easily visible, but, since Julie had been so helpful all along, I called her and asked if she had some suggestions about how I might touch them up. She asked me to send her pictures, which I did. Within a few days, I received a letter from BoConcept's Warehouse Team Leader, explaining that he had convinced the supplier, as a "good service," to provide us with a new top for our table, which the BoConcept installation team would install free of charge when it arrived in December. We were stunned. And very grateful. Never before have we encountered such "good service" from a furniture retailer. Now we're recommending BoConcept to our friends. Your piece of furniture will be unique and you will have a design consultant guide you through the selection process. My sales representative, Julie, did an amazing job explaining all the fabric and furniture combinations. The staff is available whenever you have questions and will do a professional design if needed.
