He seems to like it. Their sales staff are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Some furniture stores are pushy. This one isn't. Prices are up considerably. Yes I'll allow some inflation, but right now doesn't seem so good on the wallet. Their furniture selection is decent enough. If you're in the area, it would help to at least give them a try.

Turns out he did - but in the wrong colors and styles. He had one wooden one in a Cherry finish (I'm looking for something in either a Maple, Oak, or Pecan wood/finish). He also had one with a wrought iron base and a stone top - but it also was the wrong style. Wayne advised he would have a larger selection of these style tables come his Spring shipment - so I will check back with him then. While I was there, I found what I at first thought was supposed to be a large emerald jewel - but turns out what it really is - is a Deck Prism. These were used back in sea-faring days of yore to bring light below decks. But when walked in Furniture 4 ( we previously bought a mattress about 2 years ago for a friend) we already saw at least 2 sofas to our liking. Upstairs, we were debating which among four dining sets to pick. There were other interesting items like a decorative mirror and a long tall desk but we had to prioritize our purchases. In the end, we bought a 5 pc. dining set, an extra matching bench, and a king size leather headboard and frame. Abdi, who tended the store that Saturday was very accommodating, never imposing. He does not hover over you trying to force a sale but is ready to answer your questions and will give you options on color, availability, delivery costs and schedules. We got a super deal! The icing on the cake was that we came in 1 pm, closed the deal in less than an hour, got a big discount on the price and delivery cost, was able to get the unit on display, Abdi checked and said the bed was in a nearby storage, and had everything delivered THE SAME DAY by around 7 pm! Jose the delivery guy is equally awesome. He single-handedly brought up to the second level all the heavy furniture and assembled the dining table and bed. If you like what you see in Furniture 4, you will get it at a value for money price through Abdi and most probably, like others customers who bought on that day, get it delivered in a few hours. That's a hard deal to match!

This time, the designer, Lise, reached out to confirm the appointment--only to not show up at all. No call, no explanation, nothing. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially from a company that markets itself as providing premium services. I wasted hours rearranging my schedule for absolutely nothing. If this is how Crate & Barrel treats customers during the consultation phase, I can't imagine how much worse it would be once a purchase is involved. Needless to say, I'm reconsidering spending my money here as this store doesn't value my time.
