12/2/23 Went Christmas shopping on this day and got treated poorly. Restrooms are closed to paying customers but not employees. I went into the fitting room with my 10 y/o sister! She had 6 items. Then my mom came into the same fitting room with 5 items because there were only 2 open fitting rooms. If you're so worried about people shoplifting why don't you just have an associate working the fitting rooms! My sister was skipping out of the fitting room with an undergarment in her hand and the security lady started yelling "Ma'am" making sure my little sister didn't try on the bra. How embarrassing. After my mom and me got out of the fitting room the security lady got on her radio to inform that we were out of the fitting room and that it was empty. As if we were trying to shoplift! I put every item we did not want back on the rack. Every time I opened the door, the security lady was looking into the fitting room WHILE we were inside. When I confronted her, she told me they thought there was a man in there with us, what kind of bs story is that? This is the worst customer service. Don't spend your money here, there are much nicer stores. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THE ROSS IN HERMITAGE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE MISTREATED BY THEIR EMPOLYEES!!!! Waited in line 15 minutes only because I had something I wanted to buy! Once again, ONLY ONE CASHIER but yet four employees walking around doing nothing? I ask the casher "How come there is always only one cashier in this store?" Her reply, "Always only me." I says "yes, but there are four employees doing nothing." She said, "It is always only me." I look back and now there are ten people in line. I pay for my items, she puts them in a bag, and I walk the ten feet to your "Loss Prevention" woman. I had her my receipt, and she ask to look in the bag, the same bag that she just watched the cashier put my stuff in right before I walked over to her. I ask her "Why do they bother putting the stuff in a bag if you are going to ask me to take it out of the bag?" She said, "I don't know why people F--- with me I don't make the rules." WHAT, SHE THROWS OUT AN F BOMB AT ME?? I said to her "What was that?" She says again "I don't know why people F--- with me I don't make the rules." WOW YOUR EMPLOYEE JUST THREW TWO F BOMBS AT ME!!! I have never been in a store where employees act like they do in this store! F BOMBS AT CUSTOMERS, WAY TO GO ROSS!!! Check out your store video of me leaving the store at 12:07pm today and you will see my reaction to what she said and see me stop dead in my tracks and ask her and see her say it to me a second time! What kind of stores is Ross running where your employees throw out F bombs to customers for no reason at all?? So maybe she was having a bad day, what is she going to do when the store gets busy for the holidays, throw out an F bomb to every customer????? I will NEVER set foot in a Ross store again! read more

Let's not pretend that Ross is trying to be something it's not, because frankly that would be ironic and hilarious. Let us instead focus on what Ross does not do well in comparison to other retail shops in the area. At no point were there more than two cashiers despite the day or the hour (yes even big holiday shopping weekends). The store itself was dirty, things were not properly stored or arranged, team members were frantically being chased around the aisles while there were more than twenty customers waiting to check out. The narrative that a loss prevention specialist needs to stand around while the store burns down is also very questionable. I think that there must be some deep flaw in the way Ross continues to operate all of its stores and continues to think that this is okay. At the end of the day, the service/experience must be tolerable or the clothing/product selection and pricing must be adequate. Ross is neither, and the fact that everyone accepts this and lowers their expectations accordingly tells you all you need to know. read more

This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. My mother had returned a present she got back in November 3 days after she got it, they gave a refund receipt. She has went every week looking for the item in her size to no avail. So she let me go pick out some clothing. We get to the register after waiting 25-29 mins. To a rude cashier who never smiled and got rude with me and my mother. Never apologized about any of it and treated us like liars. I told her this practice was like theft and she proceeded to tell me it wasn't since we returned the item, I said if we don't get a replacement and you got the item then that's technically theft. The girl was beyond inept, I've never seen such horrible customer service skills besides that of a stereotypical Walmart or McDonald's worker. We called the 1800 number on the back and the lady got everything fixed for us. The assistant store manager acted nice when we came back, I will never do business at this location again. read more

Sunday afternoon- ALL 3 checkout girls were clearly unhappy, the line was consistently very long and the fitting room lady looked overworked and very frustrated. This store has changed, Hermitage has changed and needs a lot of attention. I don't plan to visit Ross in Hermitage anytime soon. read more

Girl with long box braids is rude as hell. This team acts miserable and customer service IS VERY POOR.

To me Ross is kind of like a bootleg TJ Maxx. Same concept but not quite as cool. I have found some cute kids clothes there and a couple of things for my boyfriend but never really anything for me. They just don't seem to have as much inventory as a TJ Maxx. One pro is that it never seems really busy in there. It's easy to get in and out. read more

Great place for cheap but nice clothing, but most of the employees are awful. Everybody is in a bad mood, even if you are nice to them. The dressing room attendant didn't even saw hello even though I said it first. There was another worker who blocked an entire aisle even though they were busy. I really want to love this place, but I doubt I'll go back because of the workers. read more

Ross has had just what I needed on a budget more than once. The inside isn't glamorous. But the selection for my needs even for a formal dress in a rush and under $20.00 has made it a stop for me and my friends. read more

Great finds within a bit of a mess. I like the idea of treasure hunting so its fun for me. This particular Ross has a great selection of men's wear but the whole place has a slight cat pee smell - but you don't notice it shortly after entering. Definitely worth stopping in. read more

First of all I LOVE LOVE Ross stores, however this particular location is terrible!!! The staff is rude. You can never get anyone to help you. No one on the staff is even willing to help each other. While standing in line tonight, there was one cashier working while 3 other employees ON the clock on the floor argued about how they didn't want to open up another register bc they would rather go to the back and stock. They said this so loud that every customer heard every word. There was a good ten people in line. We were asking if a manager was on duty. The boy at the register said "no, because if there was one, someone would be helping me".... I could go on and on, but I don't have the time to. In sum, this was a nightmare!!! read more
