This Ross had about 52 people In line with only two registered open. It's busy because it's a touristy area but no excuse for not getting folks through in a reasonable amount of time. Save yourself the headache and Keep driving and go to the next Ross or TJ Maxx/Marshalls. read more

Walked in this Ross bc it was raining and wanted to wait til it stopped to walk around the Promenade at Sunset Walk right next door. Instantaneously there was clutter beyond clutter that I never seen so bad before. It's like shaking up a box of stuff and setting it upside down. Stuff everywhere that was totally not in the right place and a bunch of stocking carts with stuff never put on the shelves. Impossible to walk through and a cart through aisles nope. Security guard checking everything bc hey there's so much junk everywhere. Had to leave and go to TJMaxx two doors down. Crisis averted lol! This store is the definition of health code violations. The store is a mess, the floor is filthy, and the bathrooms are the most disgusting I've ever seen. The hallway leading to the restrooms smelled strongly like urine. Inside the women's bathroom, the trash cans were overflowing like they hadn't been emptied in months. Used feminine products were on the floor, puddles of urine were on the floor, and the whole restroom was trashed. I would bet my life savings that no one has cleaned that bathroom in years. Honestly have no clue how anyone could ever shop at this location. There is absolutely TOO much going on and the store is simply not big enough for that. I'm sure this is a busy area, but squeezing every little thing in was a poor decision. We came about 2-3 hours before closing but it was chaos. There were abandoned carts in aisles full of clothes and multiple random racks of clothes next to more racks of clothes. The aisles are very small, so shopping next to someone is a negative. Unless you're an extreme shopper (hunter), I wouldn't recommend this location because it is extremely overwhelming in comparison to other Ross stores I have visited. read more

I stopped in during my last vacation looking for kids bathing suits, a hat and some sunglasses. This place is really quite big compared to other Ross'. I feel like they have double or triple the stock of a regular branch and they're open really late. Perfect for travellers who need something and don't want to rush out after visiting the parks. On the downside, this place looks like it was destroyed by a hurricane. There was merchandise all over the place, on the floor, in the wrong bins, hung up in the wrong place. Really ridiculous actually. And the checkout line was enormous. They had 2 cashiers serving 20 people so it was extremely tedious to get the hell out. Everyone, customers and staff alike, seemed cranky. Ross is definitely a good choice for cheap gear, but if you don't want to deal with a disorganized mess, you may want to visit the local Target nearby. You'll pay a bit more sure, but itll be a much more zen experience. read more

The treasure hunt is on! As with most Ross Stores the find is in the hunt, this is a busy store in a resort area so lines can get long, but they also get new stock everyday to keep the place full. Now, it will never be more organized than men's, women's, kids, home and pets but that makes it kinda fun. Always something here you never knew you needed or existed. My husband and I were on vacation. We were doing the Disney runs as well and we were not prepared for the extreme cold weather. We decided to come to Ross to get some sweaters and sweat pants to layer up. This was probably the biggest Ross I have ever seen but also the most messiest and most disorganized Ross I have ever seen as well. The aisle are very narrow. The rows of clothes are too high up and feel very enclosed. It's impossible to shop at peace. Very crowded. Long line to pay. I honestly felt like I was going to have a panic attack. me and my parents were looking for some small decorations for christmas. So one of the stores we went into was Ross. Once we walked in the store, nothing seemed wrong... Until we started to walk further more into the store. We saw clothes over and under the racks. I thought the place had a carpet floor at one point. So after walking pass the clothes, the home deptment wasn't as bad as the clothes and same goes with the purses, but we got our lovely things and we we're on our way to check out... but we have found ourselves a Black Friday line even though Black Friday wasn't here yet. This Ross is always extremely busy. So many people everywhere and it wouldn't be as big of a problem if there was more space. Every time I go in they move the aisles closer and closer to each other. Literally can hardly fit a cart down some of the aisles at this point. Plus they hardly ever have the sales that the other Ross' have.. This Ross is not obeying good corona virus precautions. Today there was a line of atleast 70 people stretched half way across the store waiting to check out on top of each other, standing less than 3 feet a part. It was a super spreader event waiting to happen. The dollar tree next door even had people 6 feet a part. This store needs to empower their employees to enforce this, especially in a store that serves tourists in a resort area from all over the country and on a holiday with Daytona 500 and Rodeo Day crowds. Ok, so it's probably not fair to the Ross empire that I am the first to review because I am generally unimpressed with the store no matter what city I'm in. This experience was no different. It's pathetically junky. I understand it's a discount joint, but it doesn't have to look like an upscale garage sale. Things are often in the wrong area and/or on the wrong hanger. The plus size areas are obviously stocked by people who don't like plus size people! The spaces are tight, the clothes are matronly, and the selection is über-limited. Good luck trying to put together a full outfit if you are full figured. The lines are always long. There seems to be too few people doing anything of value at the various stations. Not enough folks straightening the area, virtually no one combing the crowds of shoppers just being helpful, and not enough at the cash registers. The only reason I gave it any stars at all is because when I have had exchanges with staff members, try have been friendly and helpful. Also, in the 10 years I've popped in (usually at someone's prodding), I have found perhaps a whopping 3 affordable and quality items. Not a good track record for the headache. Nutshell: Enter with low expectations, so you won't exit too disappointed. read more

4/13/2019 {Really bad customer service.} I went to buy 2 canvases 40 x 60 in each and carried them myself because they don't fit in the cart. Before I go to my car I noticed they were broken in half. So I go to return them and ask the same cashier (associate #989182) where's the line for the customer service because there were no signs of returns/customer service. She told me to stand between 1&3 cash registers (holding the 2 big canvases). There was a guy in front of me making a return and I heard a employee asking him how his wife is doing (I didn't know she was the store manager and she saw that I was holding the 2 big canvases). I'm still waiting on the line and I noticed that the lady with the hijab saw me with the 2 big canvases and she wasn't taking care of me. She took the person behind me and did her return. I told her that I was next on the line. She kept taking other people for returns but not me. And with a bad attitude told me that the cashier (associatie #757030) was gonna do my return. And I asked her why she couldn't do my return. She turned around and kept taking other returns. I wouldn't mind if I had a small bag, but I was holding 2 big canvases that were making my arms tired. So I get mad because she gave me an attitude. After i return the canvases. I asked security if I could speak to the manager. So I go to the manager (Amanda) and she responded me with a lie, saying that she thought I was with the customer that was in front of me (the one who she asked how his wife was doing). I asked "are you lying to me? Because I heard you talking to the guy who was in front of me, how his wife was. She reacted by opening her eyes big as if she knew she was lying to me. And I told her "are you lying to me defending your cashier instead of taking care of me because I'm the customer ?" She responded with a simple "sorry" because she knew she was lying. I let her know that I was going to write a review online because of the lie and the horrible customer service ever. I was really MAD. I was in Ross yesterday to buy a watch for my boyfriend. It was busy, I will give them that. The watch counter is locked up. So after looking through the glass I asked a lady if I could see a particular watch and she said ok hold on. Then 5 minutes later I asked another lady named Ellie if I could get some help. She said hold on because they didn't have a key for the draw and had to call a manager. After standing there another 10 minutes the security guard Chris came over because I was visibly upset and asked if I needed to see something. I told him I had been waiting 15 minutes to see a watch and he said hold on I will call he manager. 10 minutes after that the General Manager for the store, her name is a Virgin come casually strolling out of the back looks at me and calls Ellie over to her from doing something else and gives her the key to open the draw, like she couldn't be bothered. The only reason I still bought the watch is because I didn't have time to go anywhere else because I had to go to work. Worst experience at a Ross ever. I found it extremely rude that the manager after waiting 25 minutes to buy something in her store or the store she was running just passed it off to someone else after seeing I was upset.
