You have a section that says 13 and up, but you should change it to 13 and below, because you NEVER cater to big sized shoes anymore. I remember at one point I bought 3 pairs of shoes. It's not just this location, this is the location in my city of La Crosse, WI as well! I used to love this store and company, but anymore I'm not excited at all. This particular location was the location that I night the 3 pairs of shoes about 4 years ago! Such a shame! I hope you can do better!! I had heard that Ross had some good deals, like another discount and markdown department store in the area. They haven't been open too long and you could tell they were still working out some of the kinks. The store was a little bit disheveled. The men's jeans are on a rack next to the luggage section. Luggage was spilled over into the aisle blocking the way. Clothes were mixed in to different areas like someone picked up a large shirt and decided they didn't want and placed it in the small section. I believe that all of that is a result of the clientele and not the staff. When we were there they had staff going through the aisles trying to straighten, it's just hard. The store is organized into its various departments. It's not as well marked as other stores, but if you pay attention to the signs you can find what you are looking for and sizes rather easily. The dressing rooms where clean and the attendant was extremely helpful. They were a little slow in the checkout aisle. We stood there in a line for a long time while two staffers and a security guy where sorting clothes that either people decided not to buy or they found in the wrong areas. After about 10 minutes they opened up a second register. The prices were right. If the tags with the suggested retail price are correct, I bought a pair of jeans for $20.00 that normally cost $60.00. If you are looking to buy some designer clothes and are on a budget, it doesn't hurt to check them out. Also if they don't have something one day, come back later in the week, they get new shipments in all the time.

They knew what to do and did it well, and they knew how to treat the customer for what they needed. The cashiers do a wonderful job but they get overloaded sometimes. I think having the self pay is a good idea. My problem is I placed an order and part of it came in and the other was shipped out a couple days out. I showed it was in on the Kohl's order and went to pick up. They said they didn't have it. I checked again & went back with the order number still said it wasn't in. Called customer service said it would be there about the 6th. Went back around the 9th still nothing. Sent my husband up and he was able to get one of the pieces that came after telling him that they didn't have it he was going out the door and they yelled at him they found one piece the other one wasn't there they said. I kept checking and it showed shipped at store. Called can't find that order number. I called customer service he said it should be delivered by January 6th. I have never received a email that it was in but on their site it shows delivered. I checked again and again and called again 1/23/26 can't find number. Called customer service they said it was delivered to the mailbox. But I told her that they said they couldn't bring up the order number so she said it's out of stock which to me they should have ordered me another one when I called the first time and told them they couldn't find the order number. I had a 30% off but honestly didn't want to use because I wanted this order settled so I lost that. I feel they did a disservice to me when I kept calling about the order. The second time I should've been told they would reorder it. Now I can't get the top I ordered 12/26.

Returns and exchanges were handled well. Some of the aisles in various departments are a little confined in that it is difficult for wheelchair access and mobility. Finding store personnel to help is a little tough. The younger associates looked at my physically challenged companion as if she had an STD or leprosy...not the case according to our doctors. No one seemed to want to help her and that upset me, but my companion was a trooper and just carried on only to break down after we left the store. It's sad, really sad. We haven't experienced this anywhere else. I wanted to make a complaint, but she wouldn't let me...she's the type that wouldn't say "Poop" if she had a mouthful. Might change the rating to 1 star if it happens again. Again? Yeah, she likes the clothing, accessories and has their charge card that gives special discounts and perks.

When I came to this store to return said incorrect items, they refused my return. After sitting in the store for nearly an hour waiting for the man who works there to be assisted by corporate (they left him hanging, with no solutions) I was turned away. $106 worth of crap still in these boxes.
