This Italian founded designed chain store that opened it's first shop in Santa Monica a few years ago has finally opened in Miami Beach! It's outlet on Lincoln Road is only two months old, and it is a great simple fun fashion store with one big warning -- almost everything here is one size fits all. One size is somewhere between a zero and 2. The target market here is slim 15 to 25-year-olds Even though I buy some clothing here myself and generally like their concepts, the reason it doesn't get more than three stars is 1) The designs are limited, meaning there are 10 variations of the same type of sweater or a dozen different versions of the same plaid miniskirt. 2) One size fits all makes it simple to shop but also makes it frustrating when you sometimes want something that is going to fit a little bit better 3) there should be a sign inside the store that says don't text and work here at the same time -- on my most recent visit today the store had only one sales person and she never looked up from her phone until I went to the register to pay and then she put her FaceTime call on hold while she did the transaction and let me leave without making any effort at customer service. If I owned this store I'd be worried about that distracted service ruining sales Still, all in all, good to have it on the beach. read more

There was a good selection in short sleeve tops and tanks since the weather is so nice here. But if you are looking for lots of sweatpants you are better off buying them online. My daughters always shop at Brandy Melville in Manhattan so they wanted to try out a Brandy Melville in Miami because we were on vacation. As soon as we walked in I over heard a girl at the register and a few of her employees talking about a costumer. While my daughters were shopping one of the girls that work there was hanging up clothes and while she was walking around by my daughter she did not even say excuse me and I stared at her and she stared back at me with a serious, snotty look on her face. What's the point of a making any customer feel uncomfortable. Brandy Melville has a reputation to give off that vibe and I think they should change. I don't understand why do Brandy Melville employees have such a stuck up attitude! My daughter likes their clothes. Brandy employees need a crash course in customer service. One stack of jeans only had smalls (I know some are only one size). I asked if they had medium. Cashier said NO. Not "We only have small in the store. May I order the medium for you?" Also, I saw a vest on a mannequin. I asked where I can find it in the store. She said "Up front. If it's not there, we don't have it." How about "Let me take it off the mannequin for you?" I would've spent an extra $100. Can't wait until my daughter grows out of this. After making the treck to check out this store in NYC and Santa Monica, my daughter was so excited to see Brandy Melville open in Miami Beach on Lincoln Road! If you don't live on the Beach it is definitely worth the trip if you have a teenaged girl to buy for. The clothes are stylish, comfy and reasonably priced. Plus Lincoln Road is a fun place to spend an afternoon, so you can catch a drink or dinner while the teenagers shop. Win win! read more

The worst customer experience ever, the people working there have no customer service notion. The Yelp Apo says the stores closes at 8 pm and when I arrived they said: sorry we close at 7 pm so you can't get it because it is 7:05 pm. They treated me very rude and they didn't care. They don't value customers at all. Don't bother coming here, manager is a 18 year old girl with no idea of how to treat a customer. Besides, the brand should update the store hours in all platforms to avoid this bad situations. I have been lucky enough to go to Brandy stores in Italy, LA, New York, Boston, and DC. Naturally, when I heard there was one opening in Miami I was filled with excitement and couldn't wait to go. I was thoroughly disappointed in the behavior of the employees; multiple times I was being stared at or not being attended to because all of them were too busy playing on their phones or hitting their stigs. If it weren't for the fact that I had driven from Coral Gables to Miami Beach just to go to the store I would've walked right out. Never have I been treated like this, defiantly my worst experience not only at a Brandy but at a store in general. First time i ever went to brandy melville i was treaded amazing, workers were nice and helped me find stuff i couldn't find. second time i went was definitely not the same. the workers kept giving looks and no one helped me, maybe because there were a lot of people. the cashier was the worst. she had a look the whole time as i didn't just spend 100 dollars on the store. she had no experience at all. the manager had to come. my total $108 and i was gonna pay $70 with my credit card and my mom was gonna pay the rest. she said it didn't go through, and made me pay again, which only payed 10 dollars, they took all the money from my account. my mom had to pay the rest. i didnt get my money back until a week after that , i had 0 dollars for that whole time. train your workers! they know nothing about retail at all. i'll go again for the clothes, but the workers are the worst. read more
