Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

However, if you shop in the stores, make sure to ask for parking validation--you can get up to 3 hours free, which is very helpful. Overall, it's a really nice place for shopping. You can find a wide variety of stores, including many great and even luxury brands, so there's something for everyone. The mall itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Definitely a good spot if you're planning a shopping day.

This location was closest to our destination, so figured to kill a little time. The signage on this store still says Super Target, and it does have a full grocery store. My wife has been trying mushroom coffee, and swears it's helping to clear her occasional brain 'fog', so picked up a bag. All I wanted were some laundry detergent sheets, but this store didn't carry. We though maybe it would be in the travel size section, but no luck. Tons of registers, with no wait. The cashier was friendly and chatty, asking about the coffee we were buying. My wife took the opportunity to share her thoughts about it, and just might have found another prospective believer. I still remember when Target, Target Greatland, and Super Target were all branding distinctions of Minneapolis based retailer, with the 'Super' having a full grocery store. Target has moved away from these distinctions, just relying on 'Target' branding for their newest stores. Looks like this one just hasn't been rebranded yet.

However, don't let that price tag deter you from checking out redE - seems they have clothes to fit every budget. Sifting through the racks, I came across many beautifully-cut pieces. The boutique carries clothing by some fabulous designers, including Theory, Black Halo, Hale Bob and my favorite dress designer, Alice + Olivia (see above reference to $600 dress). The sales associate was friendly and helpful, though left me to my own devices when I said I was just browsing (read: oohing and ahhing over everything!). All of the women there have been excellent- first rate. Sooo- I stop in today- as I usually do- and I noticed a woman I had never seen before. I noticed right off the bat that her energy was sharp toward me- and that's okay. I'm in sales- I understand that not everyone likes everyone. So- I see a sweater I like and decide to try it on. I hear her voice from behind the curtain-"I think you would be more suited to a "woman's cut " hmmmm. Now, understand none of this is solicited in any way. To which I follow with-"what does that mean?" And here's the best part- she says "you know - for women north of fifty". To which I swung the curtain open and asked - "what did you just say to me?" Because I needed to hear if hats what she actually said. Yes. She actually did say that. I don't think I need any follow up- because ,well- I guess being insulted just isn't my bag. If you resell plushie toys they have a good amount most days, some cools bags and shoes every now and then. Electronics is meh mostly stuff that is far outdated and unusable The smell of this place is what kills me. The overwhelming smash to the face when you approach the door way if you have a sensitive nose or respiratory issues I would stay away from this place. My nose gives me problems from the parking lot till a few hours after leaving.

I work in customer service myself and had the weirdest conversation with employee Ms. Black hair…read moreand glasses. Just asked her where can I find my bra size and she replied" Oh when was the last time you were measured? You're smaller than me and I wear a (size smaller than one I'm asking for)". And then seemed pissed when I told her that I do indeed know my bra size. It just took me by surprise it was such a weird comment. And then my friend in the dressing room was also asked if her bra size was correct and she was like uh yeah... Idk if it's just y'all's management telling you to tell customers they're wearing the wrong bras but it's just such bad customer service I'm sorry. Especially since Victoria Secret measurements are usually wrong anyways. Oh well, peace. If it is your management sorry for the rant lol.
