I hear her voice from behind the curtain-"I think you would be more suited to a "woman's cut " hmmmm. Now, understand none of this is solicited in any way. To which I follow with-"what does that mean?" And here's the best part- she says "you know - for women north of fifty". To which I swung the curtain open and asked - "what did you just say to me?" Because I needed to hear if hats what she actually said. Yes. She actually did say that. I don't think I need any follow up- because ,well- I guess being insulted just isn't my bag. Again, good quality clothes at reasonable prices. Also, Priti provided good customer service. She never pressured us to commit to/purchase anything. She definitely made wedding shopping easy for us. This place is going to be my go to Indian clothing store from now on. I no longer feel the need to go all the way to Devon to get Indian clothes! I stood at the register waiting to be greeted while numerous employees (including the owner) walked past. It was only my group & another group so they were not busy. When I finally got helped we were told to pull what I wanted to try on so my MOH became the worker instead of them. My sales associate was completely unhelpful, disinterested & awkward compared to the other associate (who we are basically on top of because the place is super small). The dresses are all dirty & makeup stained, you cannot take photos & they upcharge all of the gowns compared to the other store I went to. I would never recommend the vibe or service here to anyone.

So when you come across a vendor that you wanted to work with, but they are terrible at communication, it's time to cut your losses and pick another one who is going to make your planning easier, not harder. Over the course of 5 weeks, I had messaged this store 4 times to ask if they had one specific wedding dress in store and if so, could I schedule an appointment to try it on. I also tried calling but never got anyone to pick up the phone. Not once did this store bother to respond to my original message via their portal or any of my follow up emails to the email address listed on their website. I understand that they must get a lot of inquiries and sorting thru messages probably would take a while. But still no response after over a month is far too long and literally shows that they are unprofessional and really don't care. Also charging a bride $50-100 just to try-on in stock wedding dresses is wild for this level of a boutique. I have paid fees so that a specific loaner dress could be shipped to a store if they don't have it in stock, and I absolutely have no issue with that. But changing a bride to try on dresses you have already in store is just ridiculous, tacky and not common in the area for this boutique's price point.
