Went into this location that my family regularly frequent. On this day it was me and my 6yr old daughter. Before shopping, she had to use the restroom and just before we went in there we smelled a horrific scent. My eyes immediately began to burn. I wanted to share this info with the manager but I decided to ask the two female representatives standing right outside the restroom first. I asked them if they had any air freshener because unfortunately it smelled terrible. They both said no to my question. I asked to speak with the manager on duty because I wanted the store aware of what was going on in the ladies restroom. While we waited, a male customer began to antagonize me when I asked one of the female employee's how to spell her name. He said a bunch of nonsense that I don't think is necessary to repeat because he was not an employee. Anyway, I wanted to report the foul odor to a supervisor, that's why I wanted to get the spelling right. I did not feel like this was a safe space for my daughter nor me. Moral of the story, I chose not to endanger my kid nor my family to such unnecessary nonsense. I reported this issue to security and I told him I would share my experience through yelp and he thanked me. He said they have asked corporate to do something about the restrooms and nothing has been done yet. Wow!!!!!! If you see something wrong, report it. It may save someone's daughter from unnecessary toxic and the parent from unnecessary confrontation with customers. Every voice matters. read more

Poorly ran store. Most of the workers here simply do not care. For some reason the main Fitting Room is closed half the day. The only other available fitting room is tiny, only 2 customers are able to use the fitting room when the main one is closed. Today, both of those tiny fitting room was occupied. I waited for about 15 minutes and still no one came out. The security guard noticed that there was a line was forming but did nothing. I got tired of waiting and went to the cashier to check on their return policy. The cashier was kind. Right when I checked and purchased the items, they finally checked the fitting room. They were empty! They were locked and no one was inside, probably for at least an hour. I do not understand how workers would not notice that the fitting room was "occupied" for that long and do nothing about it, actually I do understand, they just don't care. There are only 2 redeeming factors of this Ross: plenty of parking, and the cashier is nice. Ross, please reevaluate your fitting room "policy" and your employees. Came here to get myself an Easter outfit, I wanted a nice dress and a cute hat to go with it. The older lady at the entrance of the fitting room was like a top notch security. I wasn't allowed to take the hat that I picked out inside the fitting room to try it on with the dresses. She said in order for me to try the dresses with the hat, I'd have to try the dresses on first and leave the fitting room. Get the hat from shopping cart and look at myself in the mirrors that were for sale on the sales floor. First of all the freaking hat had a huge sensor on it, which would make it impossible to steal so I don't understand this rule. I understand if they didn't have the sensor but this one had it right in the front of the hat lol. Actually all the hats that I looked at, had a sensor. All the clothes I tried on had sensors, but she still made sure to check all the sensors were in place before letting me go into the fitting room with the clothes. So the fact that the hat still couldn't go into the fitting room, and I have to humiliate myself to keep going in and out of the room just to see if the hat looked good with the dresses was a big issue. The lady was like a super cop and she didn't seem friendly either, almost made me feel bad like she thought I was a thief or something. Later my son had to use the restroom, and I went back again to ask her for the code to let me in to the restroom, she made a dirty look and said, "yo te lo abro!" In Spanish which means, "I'll open it!" And it was another feeling I got from her, that made me feel like I was this untrusted thief lol. I had my 4 year old who was dancing back and fourth because he was going to pee himself. I understand if I was maybe alone? But yeah it's these things that made my experience a bit of a bad one. It's a Wednesday and it was around 5 pm when I was there. I purchased $110 worth of things, so they got my business. But I don't appreciate how I was made to feel, as if I'm a thief. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would! The place was completely trashed and dirty, the line to pay was an hour and a half long with only 1 cashier! When we got to the front after waiting so long other customers in line yelled at the managers to open more registers seeing that she was pushing carts to the rack and sorting misplaced items in the carts and having 2 employees take the things off the hangers that show what size they are! That can all be sorted at closing not when there is customers waiting in a hour and a half line! The manager argued and screamed in front of all the customers saying 'MERRY CHRISTMAS TO Y'ALL!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!' Very sarcastically definitely did not mean it in a spirited way lol. I am a girl that loves a deal but I hardly go to Ross and today I was clearly reminded of why. I was looking at the backpacks and one of the sensors went off. I kid you not I had two people on me like they had just caught me stashing something in my purse. The woman just snatched it off my hands and gave it to a guy which I am assuming was the loss prevention person. And he proceeded to just take it. I told him I was buying it and he just said it'd be in the front. I could have just left but I bought the bag because 1) I work damn hard to be able to buy things 2) I refuse to be embarrassed and treated like a criminal when clearly they have faulty sensors. You need to have patience for stores like this and be willing to flip thru every item on the rack. I came here a few days ago looking for a pair of wedges or heels for a bridal shower. Score! They require me to check the hand cart in. IT CAN'T FIT ANYTHING IN IT! What's the point of taking it from me? they give me a ticket and I claim it back when I buy stuff. 2) I'm an average sized guy, 5'11", 175, medium waist. There is nothing really in my size! I'm guessing this is because these are the dregs of the clearance racks of the major dept stores, so there's slim pickings to begin with.. I'm generally a fan of Ross stores. HOWEVER, this store is usually pretty sloppy and the bathrooms are super gross. Now, I used to work in customer service and I understand it's not the employees' fault that the bathrooms are gross (and I understand that some customers for some reason can't contain their shit to just the toilet and on that note, can't manage to simply flush the toilet either!) but I really get the impression from this Ross location that they don't really make an honest effort to maintain the bathroom.
