I could not find them anywhere, came to WSS and found a pair but they were two sizes bigger. I was willing to get those even though they were way bigger. When I got to the register I told Jessica about my plight and she went out of her way to look for options in the store. When they did not have them she went out of her way to call 3 other stores until she verified one of them had the size I needed. It's nearly impossible to experience this level of customer service nowadays. Thank you.

You truly never know what gem you're going to find. On my last visit, I scored a pair of Jimmy Choos that retail for $895 for under $400, and they were in perfect condition. Deals like that are exactly why I keep coming back. The staff is another reason this place stands out. Everyone who works here is super friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They always go out of their way to find what you're looking for and give you the best deal possible. Just really good people all around. The employees here are genuinely sweet and super knowledgeable about what they carry and what works best depending on your line of work. The store isn't huge, but it's definitely not cramped either. They carry a good amount of workwear too, and a lot of it goes on sale. I also think they work with certain employers; like if your job covers shoes or uniforms, they'll take those vouchers or slips (not sure what it's officially called, but you know what I mean). Either way, this is a great go-to if you need work shoes or gear. They've got a big selection in the back too, so even if you don't see your size or style out front, just ask. Like I said, the employees were a pleasure to deal with; super helpful and just easy to talk to. Pricing was pretty good too, like I said, they had a lot of stuff on sale.

She also suggested me to consider going up a half size so that my big toe would rub up on shoe while I ran. At first I thought " Maybe not" but I tried on the half size up and decided to purchase them because they felt roomy and comfty. When I left the store, I went for a run. She was right. I don't ever write reviews but what happened today didn't sit right with me. I went in to exchange…read morea pair of shoes I received as a gift and wanted the exchange put onto a gift card. When I got to the cashier, Jaylene asked what I needed help with, and I explained the situation. She told me I could not receive a gift card and that the only option was a return, which would send the money back to the original purchaser. Another employee, who was helping a different customer, stepped in and correctly explained that I was able to receive a gift card since I had the gift receipt. Despite this, Jaylene said no and insisted it wasn't possible. She was very rude throughout the interaction and spoke as if she knew more than everyone else, even though she was incorrect about a basic store policy. She eventually did process the gift card. I want to thank the other employee who actually knew the policy and helped fix the situation. Customer service like this made a simple exchange annoying to go through.

I had a very frustrating experience at WSS in Whittier and would not recommend this location…read more Over the past few weeks, I went in THREE separate times trying to buy black Pro Club shirts in a size medium for my 14-year-old son. Each visit, I was told something different -- first they'd have them in a few days, then they still didn't have them, and finally I was told they could order them for me and have them shipped to my home. I agreed and very clearly ordered THREE medium shirts as part of their promotion (3 for about $32.50). When my order arrived, I received ONE medium and ONE extra large tall. That is absolutely not what I ordered and makes no sense, my son is slim and medium barely fits him. When I called the store, the manager (Manny) told me there was "nothing he could do" because their system shows that's what was ordered. That response was unacceptable. The employee who helped me (Cassandra) was friendly, but the order was clearly placed incorrectly. (AIRHEADS) To make things more confusing, the total I was charged didn't even match the promotion and ended up being around $21.06 after some kind of discount she gave us because he was a student and showed her his school ID. After multiple trips, wasted time, and receiving the wrong items, there was zero accountability or real effort to fix the issue. Very disappointing experience. I won't be returning to this location. Which is unfortunate because it's the closest but they always mess up something and don't properly train their staff!

After picking up my order at another location, I was given shoes with some defects. Being told by that particular location I could exchange at any other WSS, I went to Whittier. Was told that the original location shouldn't have given me the defective shoes. Emily went out of her way to call Customer Service. Unfortunately they were already closed. She continued to help me. Searched for a location local that had the same pair and size. I appreciate the help. Seriously though, WSS returns/exchanges should be able to be made in store even when you're ordering online and picking up at a store location. It's a major hassle printing a label, packaging the item and what not.
