This is one of the better Ross that I've been to. Most of their women's junior blouses wasn't floral or blasted with giant ugly letterings. The candles and rugs selection was lacking and not as colorful as I would have hoped. The selection of medium dog sweaters were plentiful. I loved the variety of thick sweatpants. Of course, I found some heavy duty Cambridge flatware set. A lot better than the set that's fading from Ikea. All in a good value. The staff at the fitting room are the real MVPs. I didn't even have to tell the guy I needed to use the restroom, he saw my face and read my body language to know the dealie oh. The ladies restrooms was spotless, but it had a lingering odor which is about the same for every Ross, TJ Maxx, Walmart, and Marshalls store. Overall, great store and in a solid location. They even have self checkout which none of the Houston ones has. read more

Security is rude af. I purchased a single item small item mind you so I had the bag and receipt. Used self check out and was told he needs to see the receipt which if you are standing right there not even 10 feet away and no one else is in self check out why be rude asking for my receipt. I am not sure why this store has soooo many bad reviews but I actually been here twice & loved it. The store is actually clean & organized really well. Now there are two things I did not like too much one was the greeter he seemed pretty rude One he did not greet my family & I when we walked in, as he was pushing baskets towards the basket area I accidentally grabbed a dirty basket to hurry up and sit my daughters car seat on (heavy baby lol) I he let him know the basket was dirty & he said WHAT ??? (I only told him bc I noticed he had gloves so obviously to clean the carts) gave me a dirty look and proceeded to take the trash out. Also the cashier like to stare at you as if you're trying to steal. I didn't like that at all. I couldn't believe how much great stuff I found on Saturday. I found name brand items that I usually get directly from the UGG site. Which was pretty exciting to get them half the price we usually pay. I was also able to get gifts for my family. Ya we all love a bargain! In need of a picture frame specifically 5 x 7. Will saythe selection of frames was limited. I thought I found a frame, proceeded to go get in line to pay. Oh Lord, Ross is known for great prices, however pushing self check out, that includes removal of a security tag on your customers is a bit much, not the same as groceries. Your products have magnetic security tags. I did not mind exiting for cashier, (I work all day, last thing I want to do is ring up my purchase). Now I'm home trying to Place picture on frame. Oh no, frame size is off. May not be worth shopping here. But frustrating. read more

I really liked shopping here. I found the perfect dresses for my mom and shirt for my aunt. I love that they have Plus sized cute clothes. And a plethora of other things I'd like to get. I like shopping in this shopping center. Everything is so well kept together. The only negative was the long line but even that turned into a positive when a worker saw the line, she went to help. Talk about your agida. Every Ross I've been to drives me insane, and not in a good way. This one included. The store was a huge mess, it didn't feel very organized, and not a staff member in sight. If you're feeling adventurous, I suppose this place is akin to finding buried treasure. I mean, the deals are fairly good. You won't find prices like those unless you stroll into an Old Navy or a garage sale. Overall, I only went in here to look for a phone holding arm band, and when it became obvious I wasn't going to find one, I got out as quickly as possible. read more

I've been to this location a few times and I would LOVE to give them more stars if they improve in some areas. The store is very unorganized, there's limited availability, they are way too short staffed, the checkout lines take forever. This store is located conveniently close to me. I am a big bargain shopper and I like to go and browse the aisles for new inventory. They have a security guard up front, which is probably good, since there is a lot of customers and this location is always busy. There are a lot of aisles jam packed with clothing. This store is somewhat maintained, I imagine they get overwhelmed because it's a busy location. But overall the floors are clean and the clothing is hung up. Staff is pretty good at keeping the lines moving, it's just disorganized waiting in line with people who don't know how to stay in line. read more

So every time I go by this store it seems to be in some sort of disarray. However, if you can see the forest through the trees there are some great deals to be found here. I purchased two tables on two different occasions for two areas in my home. For $20 and $40 respectively, they have each added so much to the space and were just what I was looking for. Well, they fit the bill at about 90%. At discount stores you may night find exactly what you need, but you'll get most of the way there. I have also picked up a serving piece or two her before a party, it is a great stop in shop if you need something for a tablescape. Checking out can be a pain, especially when you are behind a family who are intending to fill their closets for the season. I never like shopping at Ross because it's always so very cluttered. In fact, I get overwhelmed the moment I walk in the door. It always seems like they're understaffed, restrooms are filthy, and dressing rooms are an utter disaster. I honestly try to get in and get out of this store. Yeah, I will pass. My mom came to return some shoes that didn't fit., so I figured I would look at the men's clothing section. Goodwill is more appealing. It looks like a tornado swept through here, and the associates' priority was to check their text messages. The worst part was the bathroom - it reeked of urine here. I'd say the bathroom was a cross between a public park and a filthy gas station. The floor was pretty dirty, there was piss on the toilet seats, the floor, the soap dispenser was ripped off the wall. And yet they have a big sign telling you to contact the manager if there was a problem with the restroom. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they would deliver the message and that it's not a big deal. Really? I will stick to Nordstrom Rack, where I don't have to put up with this. read more

Okay so I am a Ross ADDICT like I go to Ross everyday and sometimes I even go to multiple locations in the same day, so I'm used to it being hit & miss. They usually only get one of each size anyways so if it was busy that day, there isn't normally a lot to pick from at the end of the day.. THAT BEING SAID with this pandemic I've recently lost my love for Ross due to the rude employees or lack of organization in the store (that's the main reason) and THAT BEING SAID I just wanna give a huge shout out to Erica at the Huebner Oaks location!!!! I over heard another employee ask her "dang you're still here???" And she smiled and said "yeah just helping out" then I look over my shoulder and see that she is literally on her knees fixing the crooked shelf.. then I turn around and see what she had been working on and THE ORGANIZATION!!!! I've never EVER seen any Ross have any order in the skin care section. NOT THIS TIME!! Erica had organized all the face lotions and creams so you can see them all from the front and grouped the same brands together and EVERYTHING just wow!!!!!!! I'm stopped right now in the middle of the store writing this novel bc IT WAS THAt AMAZING!!!! This girl deserves a raise and just THANK YOU ERICA!!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!!! We asked for help transporting bulky item to front of store....worker looked around befuddled and shrugged shoulders. Managed to get item balanced on our cart and through checkout without any offered help. On attempting to transport item from store on cart a worker found it within in his ability to yell "the cart doesn't go outside!" When asked how we could get it to our car he said in a snooty voice ," You can drive your car around and load it yourself at the door." We carried it out ourselves without any offered assistance. Then the worker had the audacity to say, "have a nice day". I'm not sure if my back is feeling very well right now from lifting that furniture! We are never going back!!! I'd suggest you not expect Ross employees to assist with anything and get your doctor on the phone for an appointment if you have to lift anything in their store. read more

Wow. I understand it's the holiday season and super busy right now, but I wanted to return something that was heavy and bulky. I did not want to walk around the store with the bag with the items that I wanted to return. 1 it's heavy. 2 I'm pregnant. 3 I don't want someone thinking I'm about to steal anything. I love coming to this store because I can usually find some great home decor pieces. I came in here hoping to find a rug for my living room. Ross did not disappoint! Within 15 minutes, I found a rug that had what I was looking for: right size and shape, complimentary color and print (dark gray with beige/ivory vines), and right price! Probably the worst Ross I've ever been to. The ladies in the dressing room were just talking to each other and ignoring those going in. I wasn't able to get a number because they just straight up ignored me and when I came out one of them had the audacity to treat me like I was a thief and talk to me DISRESPECTFULLY . It could've gone more civil but she was just losing it and she then called ERNESTO on me and my dad saying we were being aggressive like bitch come on. Usually loveRoss but I bought a small carpet and when I went to pay I asked the cashier if she could please pick it up to scan it and take the security tag off and she acted like it was a big deal and was not friendly. I then went to take the carpet outside to load in my car and security said no carts outside even though I was parked right in front of the door he said no . I explained to him I recently had back surgery and wasn't able to lift and carry it that far and if someone could help me and he said no because nobody can leave the store. I said well ok I need to return it and still no reaction. This super nice lady shopping there picked up the carpet and loaded it in my car for me. She was sweet. Hey Ross treat your customers better. I understand you might have a theft problem but there are some really good customers out there who spend a lot of money there and shouldnt be treated poorly. Maybe I should have waited to buy a carpet with my back still recovering but I had help in the store and figured I would be treated better by your staff. I was just at this store this morning. Monica, the manager, was so rude and condescending to everyone. The tone she used with her customers was pathetic. I think she forgot we write her pay check. She came to help me with a purse that had to be unlocked and when I asked her a question, she gave me that tone. Visiting San Antonio Tx in July, had some shopping time. Went to Ross by our Marriott. What a mistake ‼ my daughter & I found somethings we wanted to purchase. Went to get in line, WHAT 25 other people wanting to make purchases were already in line. 2 checkers. This is so typical of Ross. We just left as other customers were doing!!
