Since this place located in the big outlet near the border, how about double the location, you got one by the exit called Ross Las America, here down the road only half a mile away called Ross of San Ysidro, although smaller, but it got a lot of top brand thanks to the outlet neighboring, they must have poured all of the left over stocks to this store; I saw the display of Gucci and Armani sunglasses right next to Ray Ban, not a few, but full glass case of them, as I went to the perfume section, they got more surprises with Versace, Burberry, D&G, not a little, but a lot of them as well. Their shoes section also have more brands, some brought back my nostalgia for Pony, and well so many Adidas here, hmm. They even got UGG and DKNY. Finally their shirts, the further more I travel South, I saw less Champion, but more Nike, Tommy Bahama, and True Religion, it's a total shift of fashion, I guess tourists love them more than Champion, I don't recall anything about Karl Lagerfeld Paris brand, but it's populated the place as well. I am still in search of my Champion special design slides, but I ended up getting a Michael Kors watch as a present for someone I love. read more

A complete mess. Don't brother coming in here. One of the worst Ross I've ever been in. The store itself is a mess, nothing is organized. The customer service is something beyond bad. I was called up to the counter by someone who yelled out "HEY! COME CLOSER! HEY! I SAID COME CLOSER" as if I was a dog. I believe if you don't like working somewhere than just don't do it. My usual ross is on palomar and can't really seem to find much at my normal location after digging and digging through mixed sized clothes. My friend recently bought his daughter lots of cute clothes from this location and needed to find out for myself. Im glad i came into this ross. They had tons of shirts for my daughter and a whole isle on her size :) happy camper today. Did not have much shorts or skirts but thats okay. Found a big amount of clothes for her and my son got a few outfits too. I was very pleased with coming into this ross. And i would think since its closer to the border there wouldn't be shit but surprisingly closer to the border had wayy more clothes than palomar weird but awesome to know!! read more

I love shopping at Ross's! I buy my clothes here; mostly tops and dresses! Today, I had to come here finding a new pair of sunglasses! I found a $20 Juicy Couture brand that originally costs $99. Great deal! I save so much money shopping here. I like this location because it's fairly clean and I always walk out with something. They also sell cute brand name purses and shoes. Thankfully, hubby was patient with me when I shop. Come here early because that is when no one is here. This Ross's was open at 8 am on Sunday! We arrived at 9 am and no one was in the store. I don't like it when there are crowds of people around me. I also shop for my daughter's clothes, shoes and toys here. I like finding brand names at great, affordable prices. I definitely will be back for more stuff! There's plenty of parking in front! read more

Came here and received rude service from Raquel. She was moving so quickly and didn't here what I said in regards to the change I had. I was looking at my receipt because I noticed the total should have been more and she proceeded to tell me that I was done and could leave when in fact she wasn't done. I pointed it out and told her she was moving too quickly she rung me up again for the item she forgot. I worked as a retail cashier for many years back in my day and am by no means an unkind customer. I know the pressure the cashiers feel when the line was long. Her service was unacceptable. This is only my second time here and unfortunately it might be my last. I was shopping for shoes for my daughter and found the most adorable pairs of shoes. Sadly two of the three pairs that I had picked out were a little scuffed up and dirty. I would have grabbed a different pair but there was only one of each kind in her size. I asked the cashier if there was anything they could do and she refused along with her manager. I have had similar problems like this at other stores and cashiers are usually more than happy to at least take off 10 percent since the products were damaged. I myself used to work retail and if I treated a customer the way I was treated I would have been written up. I'm disappointed in the way management is running this store, I will not be returning to this location after this experience. read more

Don't bother coming here if they are about to close. They will not let you try on clothes because they closed the fitting rooms. Why stay open? Where's the customer service. You want to close the fitting rooms because "you have to put everything away" that's your job. Your job is customer service. BAD BAD BAD customer service. Fitting room girl called the manager to see if she can let me try on clothes. But "manager" said no. I live really close, I won't be coming back. I rather drive 20 mins to another Ross that won't give me a hard time. Manager needs re training on guest service. read more

This Ross location is pretty decent. I don't come to shop for clothes but for shoes mainly. This place has a good selection of shoes. I wish some shoes had my size. I wanted a pair of black Pumas but they did not offer my size. I also noticed that whoever places the number stickers on the shoes put the UK size instead of the US size. Double check your work. I bought an awesome pair of Pumas nonetheless. read more

There are only a handful of customers shopping because it's 9:30 am so why isn't anyone else on a register?!?! Isn't it more important to keep customers happy and get them out the door?!?! First time here and i think it will be my last time!!!! 2 cashiers open and then one closes and the one that was open took forever with the customer because she was talking with the other employees then by the time another employee realized the line she open and didnt took over a minute and the other cashier was still with customer after 2 transactions they need to hire more experienced people that will focus and get the job done you can chit chat when there is no one around read more

One of my usual spots when I used to live in the San Ysidro area and this store is average. I usually arrive in the morning browsing the toy section and sometimes its organized and not. Lines can get really lengthy so I suggest be here early as you can. They have great deals on certain items but the trick is, THEY'RE ALL RANDOM. So what you may not find today, will show up tomorrow or the next. You just got to be persistent. It would be nice to know what and when they'll carry certain items but I guess that's the adventure. I have been a Ross customer for over 20 years, I know its forte are prices, not customer service yet this is an outstandingly BAD service: Last Tuesday at 9:00PM I went in for a couple of items, knew what I wanted and had selected my purchases in less than 10 minutes. I get into line to pay, its long (around 23 people when I started counting), but not that unusual. Then I notice that there is ONE cash register checking out customers, and that the other three employees at the customer service register (with the light on) are not to be interrupted from their chatter. Finally my husband goes over to ask what is the matter, because we have been there for 15 minutes and the line has hardly moved, (I pity the girl at the open register!). The reply he receives is from an unsympathetic associate named Raquel who informs that all other cashiers are "at lunch" (this is at 9:15 pm!), and turns around without as much as a second glance. Human Resources: wake up and do your job, there are plenty of customer oriented people you can hire, keep the quality workers that will do more than the bare minimum and motivate them with praise and rewards for a job well done. I shop here all the time. No one had ever been rude or friendly. Customer service ain't the best but it's never been especially bad until today. I went in with my 18 yes old son to buy some pants for his graduation today. He went to try on a few pairs of pants as I continued to look. He text me a picture and I told him just to come out and show me, he told he that they fit and didn't want to come out till he was finished because a lady was being crabby. I thought nothing of it at the time. As we drive off he commented that that Ross sucked and the employees were rude. Well it turned out the crabby lady was the lady that checks your clothes as you go into the dressing room. She told him that he better not be shoplifting! I'm shocked to think that she would think it's okay to speak to a customer that way. read more

Pretty good rates. The clothes are however not organized which means, time needs to be spent to search and get the product you need. This place can save you a lot of money, if you have quite a few things to buy. May not be worth spending time searching for what you want if you are not going to buy much. read more

They don't even deserve a star, one cashier and a lazy supervisor having a converasation with the security guard and greeting people. You don't need 2 people greeting people how about you go help the girl at the register that has people in the regular line and return line. Well I was there to exchange an item and I told the cashier they were going really slow and she said " it's not me who you have to say so I'll bring the manager" and she yelled it out infront of the whole store so everyone was staring at me ?!! Like what kind of service is this??! She embarrassed me infront of eveyone who was in the store. Her name is Yadira ! If you're looking for another store this isn't the one with rude customer service . You should never talk back to the customer . And on top of that she said you can have your things and someone else can exchange them and said if I want to I can exchange it's not my job! I was in with my aunt tonight , when we went we were having right fun. The sales were great and cheap. When we went to try things on, there was no workers near the fitting rooms at all. We went in and tried stuff on , when we came out Maylan was the rudest person I ever met. She said "You should have waited to get a number" in the the rudest tone. I said to er that there was no sign stating that and that she should be in the area at all times. After that she said " then you should have waited for a worker". The way she was talking to us was ignorant and rude. So from their we got more clothes and went to try them on. So following her words we stoped and got a number with a worker. She shoved the number into my aunts hands. My aunt has no padding in her fingers and I was going in to help her try on her dresses and Maylan said " NO, you wait there you aren't going in. Stay there if she needs your help she will come out for you." With her attitude I felt so disgusted. When my aunt came out she asked her to help pull her dress up and she pulled it DOWN. When my aunt went back in to try the rest of her dresses on Maylan descided that she wanted to spears that we were bad costumers and she was discrimination is as the rude girls in neon. Then she started swearing. She was talking in Spanish thinking that a Local to the area did not know Spanish. Sucks for her because I know Spanish and what she was saying was rude , nasty and inappropriate . With that the girl she told decided that she was going to speared it even further . So from there we went to pay and got the manger. The manger was the only nicest person in the place . I am so disgusted and I will not be back in the store because of the workers rude language and disgusting words. read more
