A sales guy goes straight to her and gives her the warm "How's your day and if I can help with anything?" treatment. Me? Apparently not worth a syllable. I turned around and left. This store won't see a penny from me EVER. If you want actual customer service, go to La Jolla or any other locations or just shop online. Otay Ranch has perfected the art of not giving a damn.

I had my 3 year old with me, so shopping is pretty quick. Just got looked at by the 1-2 employees there and they gestured to go around. They wanted me to go to the back of the building which would take me about 5-10 mins to get there with a toddler, not worth it. I get it, it's slow, it's a weekday, but the doors should be open for business hours. Bummed, bc I used to love H&M.

I ordered a humidifier online, received 8-14-26. I was disgusted because you could tell it was…read moreused. There were yellow stains on the inside of the humidifier and the box should have contained 3 wicks, but there was only one. I returned it the following day. They gave me a refund and $15 kohls cash. On 8-17-26 I attempted to order something else online, but the website would not allow me to use the Kohl's cash as the area was grayed out. I contacted Kohl's customer service, they said the number on the kohls cash is invalid and instructed me to go back to kohls (Eastlake) to have them issue a valid one. On 8-17-26, I went to Kohls. The Manager, Adrianna, scanned the skew on the back of my kohl's cash and said it's valid and has $15 to use. I explained that I was unable to utilized the kohls cash. She suggested that I enter the number manually. I explained the area is grayed out. I asked her to issue a valid one so I can order online. She said she can't do that since it's from a retuned item. I said the only reason I returned the humidifier is because kohls sent me a used one. Frankly, I was shocked that kohls did not bother to check the item before they ship it. Adrianna did not offer an apology for the disgusting humidifier or the inconvenience of having to return to the store once again, without resolving the issue. Their own customer service department stated the number on the kohls cash is invalid. Adrianna did not resolve the issue and was unapologetic.

But, instead of saying hi or acknowledging me, she told the a young man to ring me up instead and continued to talk and he didn't bother to say hi to me or Acknowledge me either. I was told by the manager today, they could not provide a refund because there was not a Ross tag…read moreon the pants. Even with a receipt she was unwilling to do more than rattle off "Ross's policy" of no tag, no refund. I mentioned they are currently carrying the same pants, couldn't she use those as a reference? She suggested I go back to the original Ross I bought the pants (that this store is also currently carrying) for them to check the surveillance to verify I bought the pants. I don't know if this Ross has a theft problem, but I've never had to to ask security at any store to prove I bought something they're carrying I called a different Ross closer to me and explained my situation. They told me as long as I had the receipt it was no problem. I don't think I will be back at this Ross.

I went back to return them and the staff treated me like a THIEF. They refused the return and accused me of stealing them. Later, when I tried to buy socks for myself, an employee wrote words/codes on them and made me feel like I was being watched as a suspected shoplifter. She literally labeled them so other staff would be warned about me. Humiliating, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I will never shop here again. Avoid this store.
