Dishonest business practices. I checked out with my own bag. The cashier asked me if I wanted a bag. I clearly said no, as I hate paying for bags. Its a stupid law crammed down peoples throats by politicians. The cashier silently added the bag fee anyway. I paid and just as I saw the receipt I saw the bag fee. I said I didn't want a bag, refund the fee. The manager said they can't do that. They will charge you a bag fee whether you want it or not, and they will not refund it. They claim there's no way to do it. But that's not the way retail works. Anything put in can be taken out. Manager said patronizingly "well sir its not a big deal, its just 8 cents.". Nice of her to trivialize my finances. Terrible customer service. Will not shop the chain again. Manager was entirely unwilling to fix her cashiers mistake, at customers' expense. Bought a dress the day before and decided it wasn't the right dress for the occasion. Went to return the dress the next day and said they weren't allowed to do a return due to "dirt" on the dress. There was no dirt on the dress lol not to mention that I bet half of the stuff there is covered in dirt due to it being knocked onto the floor and put back up to sell. Prices are great home decor is great customer service and friendliness of the staff is terrible and not worth it. Only One cashier and a useless door greeter? even though one of the customers an elderly lady asked if she could go on the register she told her no and then eventually she went on the register anyway , rude , so obviously there was a non stop extremely long line, ....then she rudely and ignorantly after I paid for my perfume .instead of politely and kindly telling me before I paid she told me that I couldn't return it once I opened it. Yes, I can to any Ross store in any state, in any of the 50 states in the whole entire United States of America.when it smells like pure alcohol, don't let these people treat you like you're an idiot , I've been shopping at Ross for over 30 years and never in my entire life in any state that I traveled to or shopped at did I have any issues returning anything used or not , opened or not if its defective it's defective it's as simple as That , I just took it to another store read more

I was at this Ross on may 7th 2024, when I went to the restroom and accidentally left my new iPhone 14 Pro on the toilet paper holder. When the manager looked back at the cameras the only people that went in after me was employees. I've recently learned that Robin that usually works night shifts was the one that took my phone. I still haven't gotten it back. (I know he took it because it's pinging at his address on find my iPhone.) read more

Ross uses to be the best place for late night shopping because them and Burlington stayed open the latest. Now every time I go there their hours are different then what's posted online, 10 at night on a Sunday, I am there at 9:45 to do a quick return and they have doors locked and carts in front of the door, workers still in there and when you call of course they don't answer! read more

Although we found pretty good deals at this location, employees were not friendly and customer service was non existent. They just wanted to get us in and out of their as fast as possible. We weren't even done at the checkout stand and the cashier says "next guest". This was my first visit here. There was not much clothes on the ladies racks. Tried on several items and all the sizes seem to run small. Never saw any staff to ask questions of expect at the fitting line. The wait time to check out seemed a bit long. Overall the place was just OK to me. read more

I agree with the comment below 8 months ago. I went in tonight and for the second time the manager that starts with a B gave me issues! She kept taking from the line of people paying for things and not helping me in the return line. She said because lane 2 was only the refund line. Another person hopped on Lane 1 and helped me after B helped about 5 people in the purchase line. B had come up to help the one-person cashiering while I had already been standing there for about 5 minutes and hopped on Lane 3 when 1 was available to go onto. This is the second time she's done this to me! I do not know her! This is not how you run a customer service place! Disrespectful and rude! I will go to the South Hill from now on!! Watch the cashiers when they're bagging your items. Our cashier did not put one of our items in the bag, and is insisting we have it. The bag wasn't opened between her handing it to me, and us opening it at home, we've called them several times trying to track down our shirt, and they're completely rude about it.
