    I was looking at a clearance LG washing machine (as is) with the yellow tag attached. On that tag, the box -repaired- was checked but no indication of what needed repaired. I asked the associate for history, but he knew nothing. Two delivery men told me that it was the feet on the machine. I asked all the right questions. Thinking that I had a sound machine, I did take it home later that day,m. The next day, we ran a full cycle for testing. This is when the fear started, and we felt safer standing in the hallway. The machine was extremely loud and spun at an amazing speed with decibels volume 107, which can cause hearing loss. We pulled it out, and there was bearing dust on the floor, which confirmed that the bearings were gone. This is a very costly repair and you're better off buying a new machine. They had a $600 tag on this machine.    Brought it back to the store and was told  "no refund" a number of times by the associate & manager . After showing them loud videos & pictures for evidence of what they tried to sell us,we did obtain a refund.  Lowes employee did not run a full cycle to ensure a sound & safe machine prior to resale, and the manager should oversee this. Quality control, mainly with their employees, has lowered in the last 5 years.    There were no apologies but instead received a combative attitude from the manager.

    Worst customer service ever!. Andres is rude and has treated employees so awful in front of customers. Never seen a worse employee ever. Management needs some more training on how they treat employees. No wonder why employees quit with no notice!. And when you make a complaint to corp seems like nothing gets done. I won't shop that location ever again. Home depo is just down the road. ​i spend a lot of money at lowes and will not go back. When you see a manager in front of a customer yell at a employee saying there worthless is not ok.

    Really poor customer service at rerun desk. They ignored us so we left and bought a barbecue at Fred Meyer's.

Just one phone call and Andy was on the job ready to go to work. He made the space wider and higher. He shaved about 1/4 of an inch off the end of the countertop, slipped one section of the upper cabinets out, took it to the shop and shaved off about 3/8 of an inch and slipped back into place. You can't tell it was ever moved. I give Andy six stars, maybe seven. It is really hard to find a cabinet shop that would take a job like that. It reflects the company's the high degree of expertise and devotion to customer service. I give the company six stars. Howard Herman, very happy customer!

I ordered it from the Best Buy near her work which is 40 miles from her home so she could pick it up after work. When I showed up at her home to install the new TV, I noticed Best Buy had forgotten to include the HDMI cable I had also paid for. I wasn't going to drive another 40 miles to/from BB to pick up the HDMI cable they had not included so I called the local number. I was sent to their 800 # and was initially told it was my fault when I placed the order for not including my mother's name as the recipient of the HDMI cable as well as the TV. When I notified the CS rep Paul that the TV and HDMI cable were in the same order # and that she had been included and received the text messages confirming the entire order was ready for her to pick up, he started to blame my 74 year old mother for not verifying the BB rep had included both the TV and HDMI cable. I got extremely angry at that point and demanded his supervisor. Paul told me there's nothing a supervisor could do and hung up the phone (I will admit a few bad words may have slipped out during our disagreement, so I understood him hanging up). I took a deep breath, called back and spoke with Henry after the 10+ minute hold period. He was initially a bit more receptive. He admitted that the cable should have been included in the order but he then immediately moved on to blaming my mother for not verifying the order. When I told him my mother had shown the BB rep the printed sheet with the order details, he changed the story to it being my fault for not educating my mother on what she needed to pick up. I did my best to hold back my outrage and demanded to speak with his supervisor and to be connected with the local BB to see if they had a solution. He then claimed it was either 1 or the other. I could speak with his supervisor OR he could have someone else contact me about the order error. If I chose 1, the other case would be immediately closed. By this point I was holding my breath and demanded his supervisor. After 20 minutes on hold, another person took over the call. She was calm and asked me why I didn't just call the local store I bought it from. I informed her I had called the local store but the only options on the phone were either their pathetic AI system (which they admit is 'new' so be patient) or to be sent to the 800 number. She offered to 'escalate' the complaint but told me it would be 48 hours before I would hear anything back. I accepted the escalation but then asked her if she knew of any way I could speak to the local store to find a faster resolution and she gave me a 3 digit code to enter when I called the local store #. I attempted this, but got a message "Invalid extension" that the code should be 4 digits so I was, again, unable to talk to someone from the local store. (The word "invalid" was pronounced "IN-vuh-lid" in the auto message. The manner used to describe people who are weakened by a chronic illness/injury, which is also offensive to me as a person whose life has been severely affected by a TBI as a kid.) I again, for the 3rd time, called the 800 #, waited 10 more minutes to get a rep and spoke with a 4th person. He explained to me I would not be able to access the local store because the extensions are only accessible via the BB network phones. He offered to have someone from the store call me back within the next 2 hours, which I accepted. I then tried to verify that would not stop the complaint that had been escalated and he told me it would not. We've surpassed the 2 hour wait time, so I doubt anyone will be calling me back. I also doubt the case was escalated to a higher level and I will likely never hear another word from BB. I guess I just have to wait until the pick-up time passes and BB initiates the big $8 refund for their mistake. My anger has nothing to do with losing a few dollars because BB screwed up the order. It has to do with their complete lack of accountability when their staff makes mistakes (Though the staff was apparently rude when my mother picked up her order). She's 74 years old with a limp and when she gave them the order #, the BB employee brought out the order, dropped it on the table in front of her and walked away. He didn't say 'we appreciate your business' or 'thank you'. He didn't offer to assist her getting the purchase to her vehicle. He literally dropped the small TV (24") on the desk in front of her and walked away. If I were running BB, the immediate response would be accepting that it was our fault. I would then offer to have the order delivered to her home by the following morning with no additional cost. I would also ask about her experience and when she told me the attitude of the BB rep I would have ripped him into my office and told him to fix the attitude or find a new job.

If something is in stock and out of reach where they would have to get a ladder or shut down a isle to get it, they will pitch a fit about it. Value: Check the prices, I was looking at a Hamilton Beach outdoor heater. They had big signs and tags saying 159.99, but the box said 129.99. Same deal with Outdoor Defense, costs more to get a refill than one with a handle and sprayer. Many other items too, just check before you go in. Cell service is dampened so you are forced to use their wi-fi. This controls your location look up and prices.

Aug 11: Dryer was delivered dented, installed with feet of extra vent hose, and the crew refused to install the microwave even though it was clearly paid for and confirmed on my receipt. They argued with my wife in a condescending way, forcing me to leave work early to come back to the store. When I called customer service, I was told it was somehow my fault for not setting it up properly. Aug 27: Microwave installer opened the box to find the unit completely crushed. Instead of replacing it and finishing the job, he left. I then spent over two hours on the phone while the store repeatedly hung up on corporate support. Aug 30: I had to personally haul the crushed microwave back into the store to arrange replacement. At the same visit, I had to start a dryer exchange for the damaged unit. Sept 3: Microwave was finally installed correctly -- nearly a month after my purchase. Sept 6: Replacement dryer was scheduled for a 5-9 PM delivery. At 7:30, I discovered it was never even loaded on the truck. Now pushed to Sept 8, which means I must take unpaid leave from work just to supervise. Throughout this process, store staff have refused to provide regional manager contacts or escalate the issue, telling me to "just call customer service," the same number that has wasted countless hours of my time. All I wanted was what I paid for: new, undamaged appliances, delivered and installed as promised. Instead, I've been left with damaged products, botched installs, endless reschedules, and financial harm from lost work time. If this is how Lowe's treats first-time customers, I can see why so many people go elsewhere.

We purchased a fridge, washer, and dryer. They were supposed to arrive one week later. We had just bought a new home and were living without these appliances. Needless to say, living out of an ice chest and with lots of dirty laundry was not fun. So, the day arrives when we are supposed to receive these appliances. They get here and the deliveryman drops the fridge on our driveway. Then he didn't even have the right tools to install our washer. So the day ended and we still had dirty clothes and no fridge. They replaced the fridge but said it would be another week before it arrived. We called customer service for compensation and they said to call back after we receive the new fridge. We receive the new fridge a week later and there is water leaking out of it. Luckily, these deliverymen were more competent and were able to repair a problem that shouldn't have been there in the first place. As far as the washer goes, my husband and father-in-law were able to install that themselves. We call customer service back for compensation and they offer about $300 (we paid a total of $3,000 for these appliances). We said that seems a little low. She returned with a $450 offer. She then told us a story about how someone paid $9,000 and received $3,000 in compensation. Well, we took that as meaning we could get about 33% for our troubles. But she denied this then hung up on us. We got re-directed to the local store where manager Lori told us that she would have to have her manager, Bob, call us back. He never did. Four days later, we call Home Depot back and they offer us $150. So, now the offer has gone down. We obviously had a problem with this. Finally, Veronica settled on $396 --- lower than one of the initial offers we received. And, she made sure she told us how "generous" this was and that it was way over what she thinks we should receive. Every employee of Home Depot we spoke to acted like this was their own money they were giving away and acted like we were being irrational by expecting money back. We had to go two weeks without our appliances because of the mistakes made by Home Depot's delivery. Specifically, Veronica stated "well, you have everything, don't you?" I want to know how long a customer has to wait for their appliances before it is a big enough problem that they can get compensation. What if it had been a month, two months, a year? To sum it up, we are very disappointed with this entire situation and will not be returning to Home Depot for any purchase.
