After being hanged up in the phone 4 times, finally was able to speak with the Manager who's professional enough to listen to me. In this store "Paying customers" are forced to do the job of their paid employees like removing the hangers, placing the merchandise on the counter, yelling at you where to place the cart after standing in line for 30 minutes to check out. What's worse is the manner that the cashier reprimanded me to basically do her job!!! This is the worst store I've ever been to and the audacity, ignorance and poor customer service of that cashier! Ross Dress for Less. Located on E Hammer Ln in Stockton, CA. Here's my story: My two daughters wanted to go shopping. So my youngest wanted to see the new Ross. As we walked in my daughters and I, were greeted by the guys standing by the door. It's a new Ross, been open for a few months now. Inside looked very bright and clean. We walked around to get a feel of the new Ross. To see where everything is at. I walked around and took pictures of the place and my two girls started to look for what they wanted. My youngest was excited the most. She needed to stock up on some sweaters for school. My eldest wanted a few pair of pants. I needed a new shaving kit. My two girls were happy with the new clothes that I got them. Just loved seeing the smiles on their faces. My little one showing me the sweaters she really, really needed. I thought that was too cute. I told my eldest get what you want and that girl was off to the races. When it was time for us to cash out. The cashier Alice or Alicia. I couldn't really tell. Her name tag was upside down. She was really nice. I told to make sure my girls clothes are separated. Because I don't want know tripping​ from those two in the car, lol. She was cool about it. The store is decent. It's picked over BUT it's back to school and a new store so I'm sure that's why. The security staff are a joke. They just kinda say hi and go back to chit chatting. The back staff was talking about all the stuff they put up for themselves to buy after work. Sounded like they came up on a lot of stuff. I mean, that's a perk to working there I'm sure but come on, be professional. It was still clean and hopefully stays that way. For being such a newer Ross... these employee need some training. Let's start with customer service! The cashier Nallay whatever her name was, she looked probably middle eastern. She checked us out yesterday, when my boyfriend placed the items on the check out desk, she rolled her eyes like he did some thing wrong. Never once did we get a "hello" from any of the Ross employee. I never liked Ross anyways but we thought it'll be a good day to check it out since it was so closed to home. Where do I start... so I walk in, first place I stop is the shoe section being that was the main reason I decided to go to Ross in the first place. As I got closer to exiting the shoe area I started to notice that there was nobody shopping close to me and loss prevention was walking around pretending to organize things. The first time I saw her I thought it was odd but didn't really think too much about it. So from there I went to the cosmetic Area and then I see the loss prevention girl fixing stuff in the shelf opposite to where I was looking. So at this point I'm a little frustrated because she's not making any effort to not be noticed and being that I only walked in with my clutch wallet I didn't really have anywhere to hide things if I did decide to steal something. So nonetheless I was on the phone walking around I get to the hair products there she is again. So at this point I'm pissed because Not only did I walk in the store with just a clutch wallet I also had my dealership jacket on and name tag which I highly doubt people would wear if they were going to be stealing something and I look pretty damn professional. So while I'm on the phone talking to my sister I'm being very outspoken and making sure that the loss prevention girl hears me tell my sister that I was being followed by loss prevention... It blows my mind I seen plenty of people walking around that store that they probably shouldn't focus their attention on but this winch chose to follow me. I make more money than her district manager makes I don't need to steal. They have cameras so the fact that they chose to follow me around really pissed me off. They probably missed out on a few customer tackles today by following me around. Someone should train the employees a little better. read more

Bad service today waited in line to do a return and they didn't call me to the register and help all the other with purchase! I was in line before there was a purchase line! There was 2 cashier and they were just chatting away! I don't care if one or two was called but they called 6 customer until I had ask is this the (return line?) and they said yes (your next!) SMH....what heck was that I been waiting here! Store is always empty have to buy one to get the other one at another Ross. (Hassle) There shelf and rack is always empty. Learn how to keep up with putting your inventory out. Who cares how fast y'all sold it... keeping return customer back is the business!
