I imagine this would not be the case if there were 2 windows, one for ordering, the other for pickup, but here the orders are taken by folks on foot. So my 5 dollar mocha became 6, and I was a walk up, not in a vehicle. The order takers are are often easy on the eyes, which I suspect is part of the appeal, but other times it is a sausage festival. So the expense of coffee outside the house, plus the offensive tip situation, means the place will not be in my rotation, but they seem to be doing quite well. The mocha coffee tasted good.

I've tried this combo at many competing coffee locations and 7 brews does it right. The baristas are so nice and knowledgeable about coffee combinations. They also have a rewards program which is actually pretty nice because you get 100 points per drink and then at 1000 points you can heat a free drink. Size and price do not matter unlike other coffee chains. I liked that. There is no app so you just give them your number and they can get your points to you. It's drive thru only and I have not noticed a walk up window. It's very busy but well organized. So happy it's here. I will be working my way through the menu

I love that they're open until 10 or 11pm too because honestly coffee is a necessity beyond the morning hours.

Specifically had the raspberry and chocolate croissants and was very happy with both. Raspberry croissant was super flaky with a nice cream and jelly inside. Little messy to eat, but delicious and not too sweet. The chocolate croissant was also very good and both pastries were large. Price for both was a little steep but given size, quality, and being at WEC it really wasn't bad. Coffee was also pretty good with the price surprisingly reasonable be given its location. Place was fairly busy but the line moved quickly so it wasn't an issue. If you're looking for a nice pastry and coffee I would definitely repeat if you're at or near WEC.

One thing I really appreciate about Dutch Bros is that the menu is fun and there's always something new to try. I still think I'm on a mission to figure out my perfect coffee order. I love coffee that actually tastes like coffee while still having a fun flavor, and I haven't quite cracked the code yet. That's more of a me problem than a Dutch Bros problem though, because there are so many customization options. This visit, I also learned they have way more than just coffee. I tried one of their flavored waters for the first time, a strawberry coconut, and it was so refreshing. I would absolutely order it again, especially on a hot day. As far as the coffee itself, I'd put Dutch Bros around the same level as Starbucks quality wise, but with a much more creative menu and a more fun vibe. The drinks are unique, the staff is always friendly, and there's always something new to experiment with.
