Joining Roswell Barbell was the best thing I did for myself last year. My last gym experience with one of the large chains left me saying "never again!", so when a friend invited me to Roswell Barbell to see what she had been doing there, I went with ZERO intention of joining her as a member, but I liked the friendly atmosphere, and liked that there was a variety of people there--men and women of all ages and fitness levels, not just the serious lifters that this gym serves so well. When I found out I didn't have to sign a contract or give the gym access to my checking account, I decided to try it for a month. I also signed up for some training with Anna to get comfortable with the equipment. That was over a year ago. I still train with Anna regularly. She and the other trainers here are the most knowledgeable and experienced that I've ever worked with, and the gym is loaded with equipment, so there's always something new to learn.
