I have taken a variety of classes with Kolleen, Sara, and Matt and every class is scalable regardless of where you might be in your fitness journey. There is help and encouragement when you need it, and the environment makes you want to come back and workout again, and again. In terms of cleanliness, Core 57 is a 10/10. I have yet to see dust on anything. Cleaning spray bottles and towels are provided to every member during the class and cleaning is required after each use of equipment and announced by the trainers. It is a small group setting (personal training is offered and classes have 4 members to 12 members depending on the class), so I feel comfortable working out even during a pandemic. There are also restrooms and 2 showers available in case you might need to get ready post workout. This is not the kind of gym where you walk on the treadmill for an hour and blindly figure out what equipment to use. If you're looking for a big box gym for $29 a month, this is also not the place for you. I'm a member at CrossFit Terminus in downtown Atlanta but sometimes my girlfriend and I are in Alpharetta two or three times out of the week visiting family up there. We were able to get a pass for $135 that allows us to visit 10 times on a drop in instead of joining completely. This is awesome because we never know when we will have to use it. Upon our first drop in and every single one after the staff and all of the members were very friendly and came up to talk to us. In some boxes they just aren't like that and you feel very unwelcome. If we did live in Alpharetta we would 100% be members completely at this box. I recommend if you live in the Alpharetta area or even kind of close that you make the drive out there to make sure you keep looking good naked in the mirror!

Roswell Barbell is focused on building strength and has all the equipment you need to accomplish this goal. Despite its small size, there's plenty of equipment to use. I've been going for six months, starting as a white collar novice lifter who had never used a barbell in his life and didn't understand how chalk was used. The team here has supported my training, taught me the skills, and made it fun, healthy, and respectful. Now, I spend 3-4 days a week lifting heavy things, challenging my body to get stronger, and learning from some of the best athletes. I leave chalky and exhausted, and motivated to come back again. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in.
