Food shopping is just so much fun and it 's no different in Weeton's. This is farm shopping but in a plush surrounding. Quality assured here and that is a fact. If I say fact then it must be true. What I really love about this place is that it brings the best things about Yorkshire to one place. It's like a deli but on acid. They stock over 1000 different lines of Yorkshire's finest. I defy you to go in and not come out with a sticky toffee pudding or stunning ginger bread house. The bakery really is first class. Yet so is most of it. You'll find teas, wines, meat, vegetables, really smelly cheeses and stock cupboard essentials. The oils are out of this world too. You pay for it but some of the balsamic and dipping oils are just meant to be cracked open on those special occasions. How I can get excited about oil I don't know but in here anything is possible. There have been so many times that i've walked into a 'deli' to find that it is really just a sandwich shop with no 'Delicacies' in sight! When you walk in you're greeted by the friendly and very knowledgable owners - i immediately felt welcome. The shop has a bright little outside cafe with fresh coffee, cake and sandwiches on offer. Inside though they are a 'proper' deli and sell cheeses and meats and sundries which are very different to anything i've ever seen before, but this doesn't really matter because samples of the food are laid out to try so you're not buying blind so to say! I've been a couple of times now and bought myself french bread, a small langres cheese, some salami, a latte and a peice of carrot cake - and by god it was all amazing! Really tasty authentic stuff. But most of all, the food was excellente! They have an extensive menu and their specials are very good too. Portions are such that you will not leave hungry. I think the chef must be schooled in fine Italian cooking. If you go, they have great starters and mains but most of all they have very tasty Tiramisu dessert. Once I found this place during my visit to Harrogate, I went there at least once a week. I told friends about this place and they also came away with similar impressions of the restaurant. It is a "must visit" for good, authentic Italian food in Harrogate.

In retrospect, it was awfully silly to be surprised to find that a deli market would be mostly food based, but I digress! Though the market seemed small at the outset it was bigger on the inside, with each stall offering a variety of culinary delights. The wife and I both tried french macaroons for the first time, loads of different cheeses, some brilliant Extreme Chutney (with a side of delicious bhajis), and really interesting pork pies. All in all it was a really nice lunch adventure and I only wish I'd have had more cash on hand to sample a few more offerings!

The rain clouds had done their stuff in the morning and they managed to stay away while I was there. This is my first time at this event and to be honest I thought it would have been a bit bigger. There were a few empty stalls. But as I looked round that was on offer I took my time to sample a few cheeses, preserves and ales that were offered. I was impressed with the buffalo burgers as they were lovely and juicy. There were pies and pastries and cakes galore. My eyes spent an absolute fortune!! I came away after trying the many different wares that were on offer. As my purse strings are a bit tight this month so I only bought a litre of cider which I shall be trying tonight. It was a lovely way to pass a half hour but I came away wishing it had been a little larger!

There is a seating area both inside and outdoors to eat at. The other side of Yum Yum is a convenience store, selling fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries, tinned goods, various snacks and a range of wines and beers. They are significantly overpriced, but that is the cost of convenience. I also think their nearby rival Simpsons stock a far better range of products. All in all, it is a useful place to have around, but there are superior alternatives in the area.

The saviour of so many lunchtimes has been Yum's. They never fail to have something interesting on offer. There are usually several hot options such as pasta bake, burritos and a roast pork baguettes and a couple of really good sandwich specials. Highlights for me have included pulled pork with salad and chipotle mayo and ham, smoked cheese and onion marmalade both on sourdough baguettes. The footling hotdog was also a touch. You can also have your own sandwich made, they have loads of filling options and the cakes look awesome- its like subway if subway sold proper food! They do a large range of American sweets and drinks although every other shop in Leeds seems to offer these now. Yum's also have a massive selection of beers and I believe they open for dinner in the evenings doing pizza etc, if I lived at brewery wharf I wouldn't need to go anywhere else! They are a little expensive when you consider a meal deal at Sainsbury's is three quid but what you get is vastly superior. One of their daily special sandwiches and a can of coke will set you back about a fiver which is pretty good as you'll get something really tasty you will actually enjoy!
