This has been a feature of bradford forever. I rememeber my grandad used to queue here for pits tongue and trotter. This is just in the doorway to oastler so you can miss it as it is tucked in the corner. They sell allsorts of differrent type of foods from places like poland, etc. They have a good assortment of soda breads and biscuits and pies and cakes and the like. They have an impressive array of sausages and the like which are strung up waiting for you. Their biscuits are lovely and at christmas they do them in fancy xmas tins. The prices are dear but it is genuine foreign food so it is worth it for the diffferent taste.n They also do a good selection of teas and coffees which are impressive. read more

This deli must have been here since Oastler's time! It has been here donkey's years. I used to go to this market when I was young with my dad. They have an absolute cornucopia of foreign foods of the East European variety. It's almost like being abroad to visit there. There are hams and sausages of different sizes and colours hung up and the smell just wafts me back in time. There are also all kinds of breads, pastries and cakes. If you are not sure what something is like just ask, they will give you a little taster. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and bilingual! read more
