Son of the Yelpers here. I'm not sure why this place is so badly reviewed. I won't give it 5 stars since it's not perfect, but nowhere will be perfect. When I called to schedule my appointment (after tearing my ACL and MCL this April), those on the phone promptly gave me the options, as well as giving me information on the doctor beforehand, what to bring to the appointment, etc. They not only called me to remind me of the appointment the day before, but did so in a friendly, pleasant manner! When I arrived at the facility on the day of the appointment, I was promptly and politely served by the reception staff, waited only a short time, and was seen by a doctor in an equally short time. He was thorough, quick, and knowledgeable, and after I got my MRI and went back for a follow-up, I was equally pleased by the quality of service and the experience as a whole. Drs. Goldberg and Brahmabatt were professional, thorough, understanding, helpful, and (most importantly) very pleasant people who treat you as a person! I would highly recommend this facility to others in Willow Grove, Abington, Hatboro, and the surrounding area! read more

I scheduled an appointment with what I thought was Abington Orthopedics because I 'd been there before. It wasn't until I got to the appointment that I learned they'd been taken over by Rothmans. They are not as good as Abington Orthopedics used to be.They claim they cannot get into the old records and that makes not sense.At this point,I regret having gone there. Just had an appointment there today. Absolutely awful. Waited forever. Finally told to the doctor would see me. Got in the room and waited another 15mins. Dr. Goldberg is an asshole! Walked in the room stuff my imaging results back into their envelopes and throws them on the desk. Doesn't look at me or acknowledge me, just says whats the problem. He did not listen to any of my concerns and best of all didn't even read over the paperwork THEY had me fill out. Why the fuck did I fill it out if your not going to read it?! He was very arrogant and quite frankly a condescending little fuck. Says I'm not a canidate for surgery. Who the fuck asked you that? that's not even Why I'm here! Cocksuckers there do it right though I'll tell you. They get their fucking money up front. Would never ever under any circumstances go back there or recommend them! This place is run like a highly efficient business and you are just a number. Very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor. Once you are there you are rushed out the door before you understand your problem. If you have questions or even severe pain afterward - tough.. they don't call back. Your options are to wait 4 weeks for your followup or go to the emergency room. People who answer phones are very rude. read more

This review is for the PT side, not the doctor's office. The PT girl I saw did not want to be there. Showed me all the generic exercises that went with my knee problem and gave me little time and no instruction and sent me out the door. My current PT guy at a different location has me doing 2 of the same exercises and showed me how to properly do them which makes a huge difference. Go elsewhere! The staff was friendly enough. But the doctor rushed me out so fast I couldn't even ask a question. He was supposed to look at my x rays to check for multiple issues and instead sent me for another xray. He spent about 30 seconds on the new xray. Handed me copies to give to my "kids" ... I dont have kids... told me I will probably be fine in 2 months and I'm not fine come back. So I am left with a finger that keeps blowing up like a sausage with no explanation, no suggestions for alleviating the pain or swelling, and out of a fifty dollar copay. Cattle call. That's what it feels like in this office. No need to make appointments, they should just switch to first come, first served because appointment times mean nothing. If you're lucky, you will only wait an hour and then a Dr. Will come in and maybe spend five minutes with you. Maybe! No time to be interested in a patient. Too bad. You can learn a lot about patients by engaging with them. read more

The staff here are great, Dr. Craig did a wonderful job with my ankle surgery and post-operative care. Ive gone through PT there for 2 different conditions, and have had a wonderful experience each time. I would highly recommend this practice. read more

I can't believe all these negative reviews. I have been a patient since 1992 of Dr. Gratch for my spine (2 surgeries-- lower back & neck) I have never been treated rudely or had difficulty making an appointment. My experience has been this is an efficiently run office where my needs were always met whether by phone or in person. I have also seen Dr. Takai for a problem with my thumb which he resolved with one cortisone injection. I also saw Dr, Brahmabhat for my knee. He was very thorough. Got 3 injections and have never had to go back. Also my neck & back surgeries with Dr. Gratch were very successful. Have only been back for both two times each. I hope he will continue to practice and not retire anytime soon. Otherwise I don't know what I will do. I should add Dr Takai saved my husband's hand. He was a severe diabetic and had a very bad infection. Another hand surgeon wanted to amputate his hand! I have referred other people to this practice & never got any negative feedback. read more

After posting a negative review I received a message that I should call and talk to their Operations Manager. I was hopeful, thinking that I could get this resolved. I called, and after waiting 20 minutes on hold was put into voicemail. When the manager called me back, she spent the first 3 minutes barking at me about how I didn't understand their situation - before I could even speak! She then proceeded to talk over me - louder and louder - until I was yelling just to be heard. Who needs this aggravation? Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Was taken very good care,had a hip operation and I am very satisfied with it.What a great surgeon I had Dr. vakil the best.

I am disappointed that other people have had such bad experiences with Abington orthopedic. After being misdiagnosed at Granview Hospital I was disgusted with the medical industry in general. I used Agington orthopedic for a torn Medial Meniscus (in my left knee) with Dr Kraft, a carpal tunnel release with Dr Takei , Dr Starr for a hip replacement consultation and I am now seeing Dr B for a torn ligament in my Right knee. (yeah, I am a mess) While I did have a fairly lengthy time on the phone getting an appointment , I was able to see the Doctor the following week. For emergencies I would recommend the emergency room or an urgent care facility. Mine was NOT an emergency and I feel was seen by the Doctor in a timely manner. The receptionist for Dr B was friendly and social. All the surgeries I had where successful and the scars were minimal. All and all my experiences have been very positive!! And hopefully back to kick boxing in no time!! read more

I was referred to this group by patient first. Appointment was made quickly, doctor was excellent. X-rays on site. My daughter was having back problems, so I recommended them to her. At Orthopaedicare you have to take the bad along with the good. I have had favorable experiences with Drs. Craft and Golberg. Dr. Star has a great reputation. Dr. Vakil needs charm school. After my last visit I asked him if he is usually one hour late for an appointment. He snapped back at me and advised that he is always late because he is always busy. While he might be a good doctor his bed side manner sucks. read more

I hadn't checked the yelp reviews prior to making my appt. I'm glad I didn't. Called up, got an appointment with Dr. Shyam Brahmabhatt. I waited about 10 min in the lobby for my appt. Once in the room, I was greeted by the P.A. and she took all my info on my symptoms, did some physical tests on my shoulders and realized I did in fact have something that needed to be attended to, and I was quickly off to X-ray, where I waited all of about 1 minute to be taken back for those. Once I arrived back to the room, I waited about 4 minutes for the doctor to come in, he had already reviewed my file and X-Rays, we went over all the results and what my follow up care should be going forward. I was very happy with my experience and I would recommend this place and Dr. Shyam Brahmabhatt. Down to earth, direct and to the point about the results and any follow up treatment needed. And Dr. Shyam Brahmabhatt treated me like a person, not just a patient. read more
