I went down stairs to do laundry tonight, and my entire laundry room was flooded. I recently had a procedure on my foot and can't get my feet wet, so I started calling plumbers immediately. They were the only ones who could come out after midnight. The two men who came out were considerate, they didn't want to open one of my window screens for the pump because of how the window was installed, so they brought the pump downstairs. It did take them about two hours to come out, but given how late it was I understand that. By the time they got here the flooding had reached beyond the door frame to the laundry room. They unclogged the drain, and said there was a black mystery sludge in it that they haven't seen before, which isn't super reassuring, but it's working now. They did not help get rid of the standing water in the basement and told me to squeegee it to the drain, which I can't do because of my foot, so I'll have to find a friend to help me in the morning. All and all I'm happy. We paid in full and the invoice only shows their mileage, which is weird, it also is prompting me to pay again. On top of that the date is like 1,080 years in the future which is weird. I do wish they could have helped dry out the basement but I get why they didn't, and I wish I could have got a corrected invoice but they said they'd have their office lady call me in the morning about it, so I guess we will see how that goes and if I need to update the review read more

3 years later I have a clogged sewer. Water backing up in the sink and running over from the washer. Called RR at 7:30 Monday morning. They actually answered, she put me on the list and then called at 8am to say they were enroute to my house. They were in and out in 30 minutes and it was under $100. Nice guys. Super focused on getting the problem fixed. read more

These guys are fast, reliable and completely professional. It's really difficult to find repair folks who are honest and prompt and don't mind working on little jobs, these guys will do it. I appreciated the 24 hour service and the ability to mitigate and us back when they could come back during the day when it was less expensive. read more

Today Roto Rooter came to replace my garbage disposal per our instructions. The disposal had been broken close to a year and I was afraid to call because I was sure the bill would be huge. So today they came, and wow, he told me frankly that I didnt need a replacement and he fixed it in ten minutes (actually there were two of them). My bill was so cheap compared to what I had in my mind! Yes! The guys were kind, respectful, and efficient. This is my Pocatello Plumber from now on! read more

DON'T use the online scheduling. It says you have an appointment BUT you won't. YOU"LL be waiting all day and they when you call they won't know what your talking about! They say you still have to call to make an actual appt. WORST SERVICE. read more

I just had the best journeyman ever come and replace my hot water heater. Very professional, VERY competent and fast. I enjoyed him trying to help me make the best of a bad situation. The previous installation was not up to code and Joe made sure I was now compliable. It was even cheaper than I expected (and had been quoted by others)! Great job Roto Rooter! I called Roto-Rooter to fix a clogged pipe in our sink. The two men they sent over were thorough, courteous, and took the time to give me information to prevent problems with my pipes further down the line. The job was done fast and the bill was less than I expected. I'll call them again when I need a plumber. read more

DO NOT USE THEM! After being quoted one price I was charged more than $100 more. I called and got the quote originally then confirmed the price when I called again to set up the appointment. When I called for an explanation I was told "it is what it is" and that somehow it was my fault for not understanding. Besides, it was probably someone new who gave me that price (twice somehow) and they didn't know any better (as if that is somehow my fault). Oh, and that baffle they broke, that was because it was old and decaying so have fun fixing that one on your own dime too. What a crap company with ZERO customer service. Use one of the local companies that won't screw you. If you do use them get everything in writing, their word means nothing... read more
