We got the pizza that had bacon, cheese and pepperoni (they had a special name, but do not remember it - Krewe maybe??) and it was great! The bread on the pizza is very light and the sauce was great! First visit to Rotolo's so we took our time with the mini and ordered for four despite being a party of two. Pleasantly surprised. Parking is sufficient and close, given that the useless cupcake place next door rarely has any visitors. We came on a Sunday at lunch time and the restaurant was about half full. The restaurant is very nice. Nice enough that you forget you are in a strip center next to a useless cupcake place and AT&T. The walls are brick and it is nicely decorated and lit. No funky smells and every table looked very clean. Nothing on the floor. Staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered pizza, salads, and bruschettta. The bruschettta came quick and was really, really good. I think 6 dollars is a little expensive for what we received but it was so tasty I decided not to gripe. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the bread was toasted perfectly. Alot of places turn bruschettta into a little cheapo pizza. Here, the bread was warm, but the tomatoes were cold, as it should be. Walnut, cranberry, feta salad was huge and good. Greek salad was fresh and good,, though the dressing isn't Greek. Tomato basic soup was hot and very fresh tasting. The pizza was mounted with toppings. We get it without cheese, which sometimes causes a problem, either because people can't imagine pizza without cheese or it cooks differently. It was delicious and the crust is worth going to try. I am not a fan of sweet pizza sauce, but hats just my personal preference so I I don't take a star for that. Drinks were refilled quickly in plastic cups you can take with you. They'll even give you a top. The cups are reusable. Why five stars? For Longview, it was a nice dining experience. Everyone in the restaurant was nice. They had televisions shower no sports games but it doesn't feel like a bar. It was a surprisingly nice restaurant for the location. We will go again. read more

Well we decided to give this place a second try and while in the bathroom washing our hands the manager came out of a stall, turned on the water and quickly ran some over her hands without soap, turned it off, tried to get a paper towel (the machine wasn't working) so pulled a rag off her belt area then dried her hands and used the rag to open the door. We were looking for a good place for pizza in Longview, so we saw Rotolo's and decided to give it a shot. The restaurant was clean and not crowded. The pizza was average and comparable to how good Pizza Hut is, though it tasted much different, and I think I prefer Pizza Hut. We ordered a 14-inch cheese pizza and a 14-inch specialty pizza and 4 cokes, which came to $49. It's probably the most money we have ever spent at a pizza place. That isn't a complaint; we've just had much tastier pizza for less money. The service was okay. We will choose a different pizzeria the next time we're in the area because $50 is too much for a so-so pizza experience. read more

I had originally left a good review for the beer which is still the best selection of craft beer in Longview. Well I sometimes eat the wings here and last Friday I had eaten their bone-in wings. That's the last thing I've eaten except a few crackers because I got Salmonella! I know this because I just got a call from the lab. I ended up at the ER due to dehydration, extreme abdominal pains and a pounding headache along with chills and aches. I missed my first day of work and it's now Thursday, 6 days later and I finally can eat a banana. I had no food for 5 days and was just trying to keep myself hydrated because I had diarrhea at least 15 times a day. So thanks Rotolo's , I'll never eat your food again. read more

We were traveling thru hurricane Harvey, out of our way avoiding Houston from New Orleans to Austin. We stopped in Longview for the night. Famished and wanting a good pizza, we checked the reviews and Rotolos came up great. Great until you ATTEMPT to order online. They deliver but they won't take orders over the phone. When you go to their website it wouldn't give me an option to select Tx. Called them back and they told us to download yet another delivery app, which showed Longview as not existing!! Totally love Rotolo's. My daughter in law left some pizza at my hose so I tried it and it was soooooooo good! It was the angry pig ( which is my favorite ) and when I bit into it, it was such an explosion of extreme flavors and spice,so freaking good. The spaghetti is super good too. Pizza has been the fare for us these two visits. The pizza is hearty and decent but seemed a bit bland for my tastes. The restaurant is much nicer on the inside than you would assume when you drive up to this strip center. There are large booths, tables and several large TVs. Service was good and we enjoyed the overall experience. We also had the cheesy bites appetizer which was ok. I really think it would be a good idea to try some of their other Italian menu items as that is what I plan to do next time. read more

Rotolo's was a pleasant surprise for us in Longview! It far exceeded our expectations. I would give 5 stars, but the service was pretty slow. Otherwise, a great experience! First off, this is a full service restaurant (with a bar!) It was packed during our visit-8:30 on a Wednesday night. We noted that they have a great happy hour before 6pm. We will have to try that out! The atmosphere was very lively, with many large groups gathered sharing a pizza and drinks. There were many families too. Definitely kid friendly! Wednesday nights are calzone nights-any calzone is $5.99. I believe they are normally $9.50, so this is a significant discount! We each ordered one-the crewe and the deluxe combination. They are huge!! My husband loved his Crewe calzone. The deluxe combination was okay, but I would order differently next time. The onions and green bell pepper were completely raw and off-putting. We both ordered a side of ranch (.50 each), but honestly, you don't need it! The calzones are served with the most delicious marinara dipping sauce. I would buy that by the jar! It's served warm and has a hint of sweetness and is heaven. We each finished the monstrosities no problem. Don't look at the calorie counts on the menu! Our server was sweet, but it took a very long time to order, and she didn't come back to check on us much. the entire staff was running around, clearly busy, though. I'm not a big fan of pizza but I really enjoyed Rotolo's. Tried the angry pig and the krewe pizzas. One was thin crust, the other normal, both were above average. Most importantly the pizza dough was fully cooked and properly cooked. The thin crust is exactly how I like it - thin but hearty enough to pile on some toppings and crispy around the edges. The regular crust was good (to my surprise) and the edges are perfect for dipping in marinara sauce. Thank you Rotolo's for not having gooey undercooked pizza dough. Service was good and people were friendly. Pizza toppings are above average and the sausage was very good. Prices are just a bit high but you get what you pay for. I hope they do well. On Wednesday, it's any calazon for $5.99. one of those to share and 2 sweet (just right sweet, not too sweet) teas, with tax is only $11.35. they have about 10 different calazon s. We like all of them. Try a different one each time or, if both of you are hungry, get 2 different ones and share half. I am sure you will love this place. One last thing. Thought we would try it again and walked into a half full store only to wait, and wait, and wait for our food. 40 minutes went by and we had not even received our appetizer. Justin, Heidi, I hope you read this as there is no place in Longview that has better pizza and when I met you two, I told you how happy I was that Longview finally had a place that made good pizza when I met you. It's still great, however, service has a lot to be desired. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, sometimes very bad and when service is bad, it effects how you feel about the food. 99% of this could easily be corrected with a manage on duty who manages. Since you live in Shreveport, you need someone like that. We went to your property in Shreveport and the place was packed and it looked like everybody was being well taken care of, unfortunately, it was on a Sunday night with Trivia going on and the guy doing it was the opposite of here where you have to constantly ask them to repeat the question. Your guy in Shreveport talked so loud it was like being at a rock concert, so we got up and left before the server came to our table and went across the street to La Madeline "YUK" My wife loved it, but when I go out to eat, I like to walk out feeling like I had something to eat and foo foo doesn't cut it for me. Like I said, your pizza is great, your service is not what it should be. Please give it some thought as we live in Longview and want a place like yours that serves great pizza to make it. read more

Had the large Meat Fest pizza and it was much better than the last one which was sparsly topped with ingriedents. I complained when i ordered and it was properly done. I had an order of the brushetta and for $6.00 it was not worth it. You got 6 very small pieces and it was a very poor value, will not order again. My bride was excited to eat here. She loves Stromboli. She ordered a mushroom and pepperoni Stromboli. By the way they charged $1.39 per topping. So the Stromboli was $10, which seems a little high to me but I am just the delivery driver at this point. I ordered it to go and brought it home and anxiously awaited her response after biting into the carb laden treat. It was carb laden but not a treat. They left off the cheese. I guess we had to specifically ask for cheese and get charged $1.39? The pepperoni and mushrooms were spread very thin, but not as thin as the cheese. I would have happily paid $11.50 for a Stromboli that had all the proper ingredients but I was not given the chance. I can assure you they won't be given the chance again. My wife still loves me but she does NOT love this place. But the way, my wife hates to give low scores as she feels guilty, but not this time as this is her recommendation. Sorry - The truth hurts!
