what a waste of time. They have the Apple Pay logo on there gas pumps, but it doesn't actually work with Apple Pay. You have to go inside to ise apple pay. Also the rotten Robbie saver club is truly rotten. They time out your PIN after a couple months of inactivity such that you have to reset everything. this involves a 15 minute diversion in your life making contact with their Technical Support and resetting of the passcode through their phone tree. shop a local, locally owned gas station, such as todd's across the street (gas & shop). hias has the brand new blue pumps that do accept Apple Pay at the pump itself. His rate for paying cash is the same as rotten Rob's cost if you use their saver club, so there really isn't much sense in having their card linked to your bank account that way. read more

After arriving to Santa Cruz from Sacramento in a moving van, we needed to fill the old gas tank for the return trip. Found this gas station near our unloading point and was happy to see the "cheaper" prices! But let's face it, gas just isn't cheap anymore, but at least this place offered lower prices than some nearby gas stations. Having to fill a truck size tank, made paying at the pump a little bit easier. Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences.  But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize.   As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. Mini Mart within the building, a spacious lot with multiple pumps available, and conveniently located on a busy street corner where they provided cheaper than usual gas prices. read more

It's a good gas station. My mother used to take me here when I was little, and I walk here pretty often. The thing is, there is a LOT of creeps that lurk around the building. There's been multiple occasions where I've literally been chased by weirdos that were lurking here, so sometimes I don't feel safe coming here. read more

Been buying gas here for over 20 + years, for personal and business use. Asked permission to use the restroom. All I wanted was a simple yes or no answer. New guy responded with a passive aggressive, back handed non answer. Shrugged it off but asked him on the way out if I could asked him a question. He responded rudely, " You already did!" I then let him know his attitude was very unfriendly and did he want my business. He, along with his manager, said " If you need to go somewhere else, go." So I will. Along with my $3000-$5000 yearly purchases. I'll be sure to let my friends and business partners know to go elsewhere. read more

It's a gas station haha...like what am I supposed to say? I guess I could attempt at it... We were seated before coming to this location because we brought our own booth. It fits five people comfortably, bought it from Toyota, please see my post of that location on my profile. The pumps were great! I'm so glad I ordered the premium gas with a side of unleaded. The boyfriend recommended the diesel but I wasn't feeling it that day. The price was fair but I remember being charged much less the last time I get gas, you can really tell the recession hit this place hard. The prices went up but the service and quantity didn't change, but it's still fair for the location. Juuust kidding Anyways here's the real review Went in to pay with cash. The woman took my money, gave me my change, and that was the end of that. No interaction and didn't ask if I needed/wanted a receipt but I didn't want one anyways. Pumped with no problem. The funny thing is there's these little TV's on their pump machine and it plays when you're pumping gas which is nice because there's no lever to pump on its own. First world problems? read more

Have come here only a few times to get gas. Paid with my debit card 2xs and both times was charged $175 for the $20-40 I got in gas. Would highly recommend you pay in cash inside if you are not swimming in cash. read more

Nice little gas station and mini-mart. Clean public bathroom. Not the lowest gas prices around. Now they have a saver Club. You have to belong to the sabre Club to get the best gas price. read more

Good location if you're heading north on your way out of town. Relatively competitive gas prices in the grand scheme of things. Big bags of sour gummy worms in the shop. And enough gas pumps so you're not sitting around waiting for one to open up. read more

Sunday night about 10pm, on my way home from Monterey, I stopped here to get gas and use the bathroom. I started up the gas and walked in to find the bathroom which had a sign that said "restroom for customers only", which was fine because I was a customer = great. Then I noticed the little vacant/not vacant sign was flipped to "vacant" = all good. I try to walk in, it's locked. So I look over to the woman working there and she's just sitting there rolling her eyes at me. It gets better... Me- (politely) "is a key needed for the bathroom or is it occupied?" Attendant- (really rudely) "well, yeah, what do you think, I just leave it unlocked for anyone to come in and use??" Me- "uuuh, I'm not sure...there was no sign so I just thought I'd try it" Attendant- "gas stations don't just leave their bathroom open" Me- "uummm, I'm sure SOME do. Sorry, I'm not from around here, I mean, where I'm from it's not ABSURD to try a door before asking for a key" Attendant- (as she hands me the key) "well I don't know WHERE you are from but here we lock our bathrooms" After I get out of the bathroom she's still rolling her eyes at me and being a total bitch... Me- "you have a very strange way of treating your customers" Attendant- "yeah, have a nice night" So maybe she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed because I SERIOUSLY didn't do anything that should have made this woman treat me like this. I'm still confused. I mean, I would sort of expect this if I looked like a 17 year old druggy (NOT that 17 year old druggies should be treated poorly) or something but I am a 26 year old girl who sorta looks like a mom and I even drive a mom car!! This is my go-to gas station in Santa Cruz. They always have competitive prices and very friendly and helpful staff.
