Rottler staff have no respect for gardeners. Despite posting signs saying, "Do Not Spray", they continue to directly spray pesticides on wildflower garden beds. Their spray does not discriminate against bees, butterflies, fireflies, moths and monarch caterpillars. Their company is doing great harm to the environment. read more

My husband found squirrels in our attic on a Friday afternoon and called Rottler. They sent someone out Saturday morning. The inspector, Steve, came out and assessed our house and found where they got in from. He went over the plan with my husband. A tech named Larry came out on Monday and set up the trap. Then he came out every day to check it. Captured squirrels were removed and a detailed report was sent to us each day. Once all the squirrels were caught and removed, they fixed the hole. I have used Rottler for several years for mole control. The first person that was servicing my home was as excellent. Very rarely when he set a trap he didn't catch a mole. Fast forward to now. I work from home and when the techs would come they would ring my doorbell and I was able to walk the yard with them and point out new activity. The tech recently started coming earlier, around 7AM, and not ringing the doorbell. Final straw was a "no new activity " report after I had flagged one new dirt mound and a new trail probably eight feet long. I cancelled my service. I got a follow up call from the supervisor and a full refund of my two month payment, I was two weeks in. Going forward I have decided to do it myself. So I guess my review is if your assigned a good tech then it's a good service. read more

Rottler has been great to work with these past few months! When we moved in to our new house I knew we needed to schedule a pest control service. The service tech (it's usually Ben) calls a day before he is scheduled to come out and lets me know what he plans to look at. I really appreciate how we get the same service tech each time; he is familiar with the property and with our concerns. When he arrives he takes notes of what he does and leave them for us to review when we get home. When we had a new retaining wall built he let us know that he added in some additional traps to help keep the critters out and we didn't even have to ask! Every so many months I do call to see if we can schedule a time for him to walk around the house and spray inside rather than just outside. each time I have called to schedule this service the customer service rep has been helpful and friendly and I have always been able to get something scheduled for the day and time I prefer. We pay for treatments every 2 or 3 months and if they have to come visit in between scheduled service, it's still part of the package we pay for which is really nice. Rottler is a solid company and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Would not recommend! I signed up for the Signature Plus Program which is almost $1000.00 a year + Termite protection which is $100 a year plus we paid $849.00 to install. I called today to cancel the Signature Plus because it is too expensive and simply not worth it. I still have to spray Ortho to keep the bugs away. I was told if I cancelled the Signature Plus program that I would have to pay an additional $323.00 today or they will come out and remove all of the termite traps! This is completely ridiculous! read more

I'd like to give a special shout-out for my technician Drake and his supervisor Brent of Rottler Pest Solutions in Fenton! I enjoy working with Drake because he is very kind and personable, accommodating, responsive, desirous of going that extra mile for his clients, and great about answering questions. I think that whenever there is concern about a pest, all clients can't help wanting to do something about it asap. Drake gets on the issue right away, even if he physically is not on the property. I will send him texts and footage, and he will work with me until he can arrive, which in the past has always been pretty fast. I really appreciate how Drake makes it easy for clients to reach and communicate with him. Just to illustrate my point, I once heard a big noise inside my wall (only for one day, thank goodness!), and so I immediately texted Drake. He quickly began trying to figure out what it could be from my video footage and how to prevent it from coming back. He was also very nice and accommodating when he made it to my home and came inside with his equipment, and he removed his shoes for me until he needed to put them back on to go up into the attic! In addition to having all the above excellent qualities that I much appreciate, Drake's supervisor, Brent, is meticulous, has an excellent eye for detail, and really follows through with clients until they are satisfied when an issue requires further assistance. He came personally to our house recently to take care of a couple of non-standard issues, and then returned a few days later with an additional piece of equipment. He was very professional regarding the work and extremely patient with explanations of what he was doing and why. He is also very knowledgeable about local pests and is happy to share information and educate clients about their behavior and what one can do to protect one's home. I hope that Rottler Pest Solutions keeps Brent happy so that he doesn't go elsewhere. It is supervisors like Brent, who do valuable work helping to build teams with a good, strong work ethic, solid training, and fantastic customer service that keep customers loyal. Then, apparently, they did not receive some of my monthly checks sent directly from the bank, so they quit coming out, again, allowing me to keep paying $92 per month, without telling me I was in arrears and paying for nothing. Dustin came to our home and did an inspection to see what needed to be done. He gave us a treatment plan that would take care of the problem and was within our budget.
