I'm on the 'every 2 months' program for $99 a visit. It's the same guy (Matt) that comes every time, who I really like. He texts me when he's on his way. We've caught a couple brown recluse and had minimal mice activity in the bait stations. Granted, I didn't have a problem, per se, but prevention is key. Setting it.up after buying the house was a bit annoying. The previous owners had been using Rottler regularly and I set it up right after move in. They wanted me to do the new $350 service even though the house had been in the program for years, with no pest problems. After some back and forth, a higher up agreed to just start the program again. They accommodate when I need to change my appointment and are generally pretty nice. This stuff.is so $$$ for the 15 minutes someone spends in your house but I also DREAD having another mice problem or worse yet, brown recluse. read more

not impressed! Called Rottler to help with a skunk going under our porch. For $400 they put a trap, wrapped in cardboard, at the entrance. The trap was wedge next to a bush so even if a skunk would think it was a good idea to go into a cardboard box I don't think it would have shut with the bush there. They never moved it or tried anything different for 5 days. 2 days after the trap was removed the skunk is back. read more

I have a contract with Rottler for termites. They come and examine the exterior of my home yearly ,but if you are not home- the interior is not inspected! This is not considered a complete termite inspection. Very disappointed as this has happened multiple times. read more

I am really close to cancelling services. I have had a mouse for months and constantly cleaning up the mess, ruined food and so much more. I have expressed this over and over again yet Rottler can not seem to get it under control. I do not understand. I called today asking for them to come have my house cleaned at this point. I have explained there is still a mouse after all their attempts I do not understand. I had one technician transfer to another service area and never schedule a follow up so my home was not being serviced until I called asking what was going on. Another refused to go indoors but still wanted to say he serviced my home. So again had to call and the manager had to advise technician that they should come indoors when they are there to service. Just problem after problem. I am trying to be patient I am so frustrated. I am beyond frustrated. I am hoping they will come clean up and find a resolution. At this point I have no trust. read more

Cancelled today! The techs continously show up at our house without notifying us and cannot access our backyard to treat the home because we have a locked gate or be able to enter the home because we may not be there. However, still charge us full price for 1/3 of the job being completed. Several times I called and spoke to CS and asked them to please notify us when the techs are showing. Finally, we get a notification on Monday for Wednesday service and I asked the tech to reschedule my service for that Friday instead, there were several texts between myself and the tech and we agreed on a Friday time slot, not even 30 mins later the tech is at my door ringing my doorbell to do the treatment (Tuesday) which was not even the original scheduled day nor the Friday that we had agreed to just 30 mins ago. I called and canceled my service while he was here. Too many frustrations with scheduling, incompetent techs and shady billing for incomplete treatments. read more

Called and set appointment for this afternoon between 1-3:00. Nobody shows up by 3:00. I call office and was told the tech was running late. About 5 minutes ago I received text from tech: "Sorry I was not informed of any time frame for your house. I'm unfortunately not over in that area anymore. If you have a good day and time for next week please let me know. Unfortunately I am pretty booked up Monday and Tuesday." Very inconvenient! read more

Incompetent and Expensive Absolutely do not waste your time or money on Rottler Pest Solutions. I called them out for a raccoon inside my kitchen walls--this wasn't some vague maybe-it's-there situation. I could see the dang thing through a gap. Like it was waving at me. First visit: The guy walks into my kitchen--where the raccoon was--and says he "can't do anything" because... wait for it... he forgot the trap. No trap. Zero equipment. Just vibes. I even pointed out where it could've been reached--under the sink--but nope, nothing was done. Didn't block access. Didn't seal anything. Didn't even attempt to MacGyver a solution. Just shrugged and left. Second visit: Instead of doing literally anything useful in the house, he sets a trap outside. Not near where the raccoon was. Not even by an exit. Just tosses it out there like the raccoon's gonna step out for some fresh air and fall for it. Predictably, nothing was caught. I paid $400 for this nonsense. Two visits. Zero solutions. Raccoon still in the walls. The only thing Rottler removed was money from my wallet. No follow-up. No apology. No refund. Just a massive ripoff and a raccoon who now thinks I'm his landlord. Avoid this company unless you enjoy setting your money on fire while raccoons throw house parties in your crawlspace. read more

Blake did an excellent job identifying and addressing issues relating to unidentified animals burrowing near my patio and digging near some trees on my property. We have bat which need to be removed from our attic/knee wall space. Rottler scheduled an appt for May to appraise the situation and provide a quote. The technician cancelled on us. Rescheduled for July since the bats are protected during roosting and August is the clear date. Scheduled the appt for July 24 from 8:00-9:30. No notification and no one showed up. See Rottler around the neighborhood but certainly DO NOT RECOMMEND them. read more

Adam from Rottler just left my house, after I called Rottler about a fly infestation. I am not a customer. My current pest service told me "We don't do flies". So I called Rottler, looking for a solution. Adam explained that they don't guarantee service dealing with flies, but he got rid of (ALL) of my flies while he was at my house doing his free inspection. He explained in detail what I was dealing with, gave me a written description of the flies that I had, and removed the existing flies by sucking them up with a shop vac. Again, I am not a Rottler customer (yet), but when my existing contract expires I will be a Rottler customer for life. Where else do you get that level of service? I paid $950 to trap squirrels at our house and close off any potential entry points. A few weeks after they had done so, I noticed that a squirrel was still going up to our chimney, so I called Rottler back to ensure there were no entry points in the chimney. They stated there were no entry points. A little over a month later, a squirrel fell down the chimney, into the fireplace and in the living room. Rottler took a while to call back and said someone would be there in an hour (it was 5:00 on a Friday). By the time the technician got there, we got the squirrel out ourselves. The company tried to charge me $250 for showing up, but did not remove the squirrel. A supervisor removed that charge upon my request. They have stated that they have now patched the entry point and again stated that there is not a way for a squirrel to get in. The only reason Rottler is not getting a 1 star from me is because most of the people I communicated with were very friendly. read more

I would highly recommend Rottler due to my experiences over the last year. My technician, Rob, who works on my house in Webster Groves, MO is especially making things great. I started working with Rottler after a Termite problem last year that was almost out of a horror story. He calmed me down, and fixed the problem quickly. I really appreciate how you have the same technician who services my property, it is very nice to know the same person is coming here. He has gotten to know problem areas very well, and is managing pests before I notice them. He also moves the traps when I move gardens and makes sure everything is like I left it (or better due to kids making a mess!) Also, I have not had the persistent ant problem this year I typically have, which is great! Because of his great work, I expanded my coverage to include the Mosquito spraying, which moved from a competitor. Terrible customer service. Chesterfield location refused service program unless I sign a 12 month agreement which is completely unnecessary for the job needed. With such economic uncertainty ...maybe now's not the time to strong-arm your customers into contracts for services they are actually willing to pay for. Better yet...be grateful for any customers these days that offer to bring you business in the first place. Literally the only value your company offers is pest control and you won't take money to do the work. Seems like a flawed business model. Excellent professional service , products not toxic to my critters nor do they irritate my asthma. They also added insulation to attic on my 56 year old home , haven't received electric bill yet but expecting lower bills. And they give you about week notice and day of notice for service. I would not use anyone else. In fact another company with a contract for termite service from previous , previous owner .... checked termite traps and said we're fine when actually packed with dirt. We no longer recommend Rottler and urge you to find a small local company for your services. You will likely save money and have a relationship with someone that is genuinely committed to doing a great job. Pest Control isn't rocket science, it's about customer service and using safe and effective products. I am disappointed to write this review, but I feel the need to share our experiences. We have used Rottler's services for a long time and we have been satisfied customers until the past couple of years. The service has been quite poor. We have experienced many bugs inside our home and garage and the follow-up services have been mostly nonexistent. Whenever we would request follow up services to remedy the situation, we would rarely hear back. They are not like they used to be. Throughout our experience during the past year, we also went through different awkward technicians, when previously we had the same person for a long time. I recently spoke with an acquaintance that had a similar experience with Rottler as us, and ended up switching to another service provider. Maybe they are having more turn-over of employees over the last year or so, and that could be part of the quality control and communication issues. Either way, we did not appreciate paying for services that were unsatisfactory, and for not getting proper professional responses when we expressed issues. This service should be effective, reasonable and also a convenience. It is unfortunately no longer any of these. read more

Professionalism I called to receive a quote and was told I couldn't receive service without my landlord permission. I said okay I will contact them and get permission in the mean time can we proceed with the quote because I'm responsible for the payment that you will receive. The male employee then tells me he can't even give me a quote without the landlord permission I'm now confused. First I've never known a company to need permission for a QUOTE!! The employee then tells me he's not gonna argue with me that this is there policy. I have done business with many of places that need permission from the landlord. I simply provided them with the letter at the time of service. I exclaimed this to the employee. He then tells me well this is how we do it. Needles to say I went with a different company. And to need permission for a quote is complete malarkey! You're not make changes to the property you're spraying pesticide!! read more
