Lots of stores to choose from with plenty of parking. These outlets are kept clean and they have a small food court. The area is pretty busy so plan ahead for traffic. Overall I enjoyed these outlets although I would have liked if they had an H&M. Maybe soon they will, but they are conveniently located off the highway so that's another plus. read more

I was impressed here with the military veteran parking. I am a veteran and sometimes it is nice to be appreciated for my service. I don't like being thanked all the time for my service but I do like the discounts and perk I can sometimes get. Sorry if that sounds like I am being a douche but it is true. Lots of great stores and lots of sales! I spent a good $500 although I didn't really need anything! Darn, they got me!! Lots of parking, but also lots of heat. Make sure you have some water with you. Yes I would go again!! On a side note, I thought I got great deals at New York and Company but when I went to exchange a ring in Houston it was the same exact price at the regular store! boo hoo.. Today I made it over to the Outlet Mall in Round Rock for the first time. My son wanted to go and get some shirts and stuff he saw on sale on the internet for Columbus Day. So the Batmobile traveled on over and we parked and headed in. Yes there were a lot of brand name stores and a small food court. It was a nice day and we went to about 10 different stores, he found the items he wanted and bought them. We went to the small food court and we were going to eat and I was taking some pictures and then a lady that worked there told me I was not allowed to take pictures at the mall and food court. Well too late I already have. Bummer! We did not eat but went ahead and left at this point. So I am not into shopping especially at outlet malls but was glad I went so I can say I have been there. I am sure many of you ladies that love to shop will love this place, so go and enjoy. As for prices they had some good sales but on a non sale day I am not sure they are any cheaper. Would I go back? Maybe at some point. They got one star less because of the picture thing! read more

You can smell the urine all the way through the halls. More attention needs to be focused on up keeping the bathroom. Here is the deal with outlet shopping malls, don't come during tax free weekend. I promise you everything that was on sale the week before is now off sale. It's best to shop a few weeks before it. This is when you will find the best deal and it will be much less crowded. read more

Pretty dead due to covid but lots of sale which makes it awesome! Lots of parking and no lines.

There's a pretty good selection of stores to shop from at these outlets. Most of them are actually the discount store for their main brand and you can find some really great deals. They also have a central food court with white a few options and food trucks strewn throughout. Parking isn't bad either because it surrounds the outlets. read more

A short drive out 1431 brings me to the Round Rock Outlet. It is nicely laid out with numerous benches along the walkway. All of the walkways are covered with a rounded roof until you get to intersections. This is useful in Texas during the hot summer days. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly when I went so I wished the roof gone to get the heat of the sun to warm me. It doesn't open until 10AM. Don't let that deter you from coming early. You can take a leisurely stroll without the crowds. There is a Starbucks if you need a morning pick me up. The best part, you get a great parking spot. Most of the shops are selling clothing or shoes. This could be the reason I only come twice a year since I am not a clothes horse. My targeted store sells kitchen supplies. There were three at the RRPO but now there is only two. Yes, I hit them both on my visit. In the center section, they have a food court. I have never eaten at any of them so I can't say if they are any good. For me, this outlet is closer than the ones South of Austin but I don't feel it has low prices to justify calling them an outlet. read more

Moderately sized outlet with a nice variety of stores, always pleasant to walk around when the weather permits. Always finding great deals at the stores we often like to visit. Stores seem to come and go like flies. The food court has a decent selection of food to eat, along with a beer/wine bar that was added about a year ago? This is the closet outlet mall to where we live. we can usually find what we need when we come here. there have been times that the store are unorganized, messy and nothing to buy. however, that's not too often and only a couple of stores are worth going into. we have our few select store we always shop at like, gap, banana republic, nike, Kenneth cole, etc. parking is plentiful. its outdoors so bring an umbrella and dress very comfortable. read more

Why the round rock outlets? This place is 45mins from killeen/fort hood region. Every time I go, I do not deal with large crowds. There are plenty of parking spots. In addition, the place has fresh pretzels, starbucks, HEB, REI, and an in-n-out in proximity. Every shop offers great discounted and priced down merchandise. I have not encounter a malignant worker there ever. Lastly, for the kids, there are many of quarter slot machine rides and a small train to tour the shopping center. Definitely check this place out. My only negative is that the restrooms are placed in the center of the shopping center, lol read more

The Round Rock Outlet mall is a very nice mall just north of Austin. It is an outdoor mall that is designed to be a continuous ring with stores on the outside and stores on the inside. There are a lot of stores and they seemed to have good deals. The stores range from average to fancy. The middle has a food court with a few restaurants. This isn't the best outlet mall I've ever been to but it's nice to have one close by so you don't always have to drive 3 hours to go to an outlet mall. read more

On Saturday I learned that Round Rock has a zoo. Although there are separate habitats for each type of creature, the animals are allowed to roam free within their environment. While at the Round Rock Zoo I observed hoards of middle aged creatures snorting and pushing each other in environments such as the Coach Habitat, BCBG Max Azria World and The Plains of Ralph Lauren each in pursuit to be first to the trough. I've never been so close and so entranced by such ugly beasts. I could have reached out and touched them had I the nerve to do so. The Round Rock Zoo is not for the faint of wallet. We're supposed to be in a depression, paying down debt and making smarter purchases, but don't tell any of the animals here that. read more

I don't come here that often, but not because I don't like coming. There is a lot to like here with a fairly wide variety and selection of stores. I like the fact that there are several athletic stores (Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Asics, Under Armour (soon if not already), FinishLine, Oakley, Converse) to name a few. With Round Rock dubbing themselves as the Sports Capitol it makes sense. There are also great deals to be had at stores like Banana Republic and Gap. I would recommend signing up on their email list and often times they send coupons for an additional 40-50% off your entire purchase. Given that a lot of times jeans and other items are already 50% off, getting an additional 50% is like highway robbery. I've never really had an issue finding parking unless it is Black Friday. I like the fact that there are several entry points so if you have a specific store you want to go to, you can strategically park near it and get in and out of the mall quickly. Here are a couple of the pitfalls. They offer rides for the kids throughout the mall, but use at your own risk. It seems like quite a few are not working. You can call the number listed and they will refund you by mail, if you want to go through the hassle. The food court is clean, but there aren't really any good restaurants in there to speak of. Sometimes they bring food trucks in to supplement the food choices, but I'm not sure that the trucks are always there. There are several good eateries just outside the mall, but you would probably have to get in your car and drive to them which means you probably aren't driving back to the mall afterwards unless you are a really ambitious and determined shopper. There is a Starbucks in the mall which is fantastic. I would recommend ordering through the Starbucks app as the line here can get long. There is also a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where you can't go wrong with some apple covered goodness. read more

We just learned that Simon Properties will be opening the mall on Thanksgiving at 6pm.....there is a 15 minute window where the mall is closed. Really, closing for 15 minutes??? That has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. So, not only is the mall basically going to be open for 28 straight hours, everyone who works there gets to miss Thanksgiving with their family. Where is the Mall Management going to be.....I am pretty sure it is not business as usual for them. So, while shoppers are looking for that NON EXISTANT EXTRA SAVINGS or the DOOR BUSTER, that all companies have only 2 of....that will suck you in, the rest of those poor souls have to miss family, miss friends and cater the Greed that is Corporate America. In all fairness, this is a pretty amazing little mall, but SIMON PROPERTIES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE, ONLY PROFIT. SHAME ON YOU!!!! read more

Suffice it to say that the food selection is reminiscient of a mall in a 1980's time warp with strange mall fast food joints you've never heard of. After hauling my bargain-huntin' self down to San Marcos for all these years, I was thrilled to see that they were building a new outlet mall in Round Rock. It's not quite the mecca that San Marcos is, but it's closer to Austin and has many of the stores I'm most likely to visit in San Marcos, such as Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, J. Crew, White House/Black Market, Coach, etc. I was here during one of the prime bargain seasons of the year, around the July 4th holiday, when every place is liquidating their summer merchandise and making way for their fall stuff (why they do this in early July is beyond me). So there were some pretty good bargains to be had; I left with heavy bags and a lighter wallet. It's an open-air mall, so can get a little tricky if it's raining. Also, Jaime's comment that their mall directories suck is right on the mark. I don't know who designed them, but they totally confused me at first. Like many outlet malls, they do have a coupon book (really a brochure with a list of deals) that's available in the food court. Take a look at it before splurging the $5 to purchase it, though - many of the stores require a pretty high minimum purchase before you get a discount (for example, Ann Taylor's was 15% off a purchase of $75 or more). Or, better yet, log onto the mall's website before you leave, and you can snag yourself a coupon for a free coupon book - yeah! read more

OKay, this is my second choice of Premium Outlets- but it is a LOT closer to where I live (compared to the San Marcos one). What can I say? It's good- but it is a bit small... I recommend you should visit this place, check it out- and then if you feel the same way like I do (that it's kind of smaller than what you were expecting) then you should check out the San Marcos one- bigger, more choice, often better prices... but far away. Anyway, it is good to have you, RR Premium Outlets... Hopefully I can get to do some shopping soon again. Right now I am in a savings mode, due to the uncertainty with the US economy. read more

Eh. Let me start by saying I am not a mall shopper. However, I do have a 3 year old whose greatest joy in the world is an ice cream and a .75 sports car ride at the mall. Our frequent trips to Lakeline have ended with some purchases at Children's Place or the Disney Store, and hours of window shopping, so I do have a fairly good idea of what prices are. Now on to the Premium Outlets. Who exactly do they think they are fooling? The prices are much higher there than at Lakeline Mall, but everything has a red "sale" sticker on it with the actual retail price or just a couple of bucks lower. I checked prices in about 7 shops there yesterday (Skechers, Journeys, Disney Store, Gymboree, etc.) and was dismayed that although there were huge SALE signs everywhere, I was looking at retail prices. I will save my time and money and stick with Lakeline. They have much better sales and deals. The only reason RRPO gets three stars is because they keep it clean. read more

Stopped by this place and did a pretty brief walk through. The first thing I noticed is that all the stores face inward, and the parking is around the entire center, so no matter where you park, it looks like you are parking behind a store. Pretty good idea though, because it is less likely you will get mowed down by a car when walking loaded down with bags. The center looks very nice and has a good selection of stores. The layout is done nicely, and I found most of the stores that I would be interested, grouped along the same area. That's probably pure luck though. If you're going on a bright sunny day, BRING SUNGLASSES. It is rather blinding if you don't have any. read more
