I loved it here. This was by far one of the nicest outlet's I've ever been to. The new outlet here in Houston hopefully one day will be as nice as the one in Round Rock. This outlet mall is a bit far from Austin, but once you get there, you are sure to have a full afternoons worth of shopping and buying designer items at a bargain price. The breezeways between stores are wide and covered so you won't get burned by the hot Texas sun, and every store is in line making it hard to get lost. There is a Starbucks to get a dose of iced coffee latte for a mid-shopping pick-me-up. The stores range from the high end designers like Coach and Burberry to the low end Banana Republic and Gap. I appreciated that the planners made one of sections was specifically for children stores and child entertainment so you can avoid the running wild kids. read more

Three Words: Le Creuset Outlet If you adore big, fancy French cookware, then this is your factory seconds (and thirds) heaven. The employees are top-notch, caring individuals who enjoy cooking and know the difference between a bechamel and a bouillabaisse. Let Christophe, the French-English-Portuguese-Korean-Japanese speaking chef show you around, if it's your first time purchasing quality cookware. The store stocks a decent selection of accessories (Microplane graters, cookbooks, wine glasses), knives, and every color of Le Creuset, including discontinued colors. Why a color should ever cease being trendy is beyond me, but everything looks great and comes with a lifetime warranty. This store is a good find, especially during the holidays. The Banana Republic store is worth browsing, although the items seem to be a mix of "normal" store items and ones made just for the outlet, since I've never seen half of these things in their other stores. But with most items ringing between $20 - $50, it's sure cheaper than normal. read more

Not a bad place to shop at all. You just have to know when to go. If there are no sales going on, then it isn't that great, but if there is a big sale (like now), then it is V_V to the max. Of course you have to realize that many of the outlet stores such as Gap, J Crew, Coach, etc, carry mostly products that are specific to the outlet, meaning that they are typically of lower quality than what is found at their regular locations. Keep that in mind when you shop here. No need to go to San Marcos, they have most of the stuff I like over here. However, a few stores like Nike and Adidas carry product that actually can (or could at some point) be found in real stores. I bought eight pairs of shoes from Nike for under 200$ and then swung over to Adidas for another 4 pairs for under 100$. TOTAL. For 300$, I could probably only buy 2 pairs of shoes at Foot Locker or Finish Line. Of course you aren't getting the latest styles or the best colors..but it's OK. There are a lot of foreigners (mostly Mexican and some Chinese) who shop here--the PA system even has announcements in these languages! Score one for diversity. If you are an evil person and only feel comfortable among large groups of white people, then you may find the outlets slightly intimidating. Another issue with the outlet is its tendency to attract large groups of Kokujin. According a certain speciest Imperial writer from Great Britain, you should avoid going to places where large groups of Kokujin congregate. Unfortunately, young Kokujin's were recently involved in a violent brawl/shoplifting incident at the Kokujin's favorite store (check mark) at this outlet. I thought this kind of stuff only happened when Kokujin's lined up for expensive the latest person who can jump high brand shoes at Footlocker, but apparently, it happens here too. Why this happened, I don't know, but I have a feeling that is probably not the fault of the Kokujin. Instead, I blame institutionalized racism and structural contradictions of capitalism for the violence. The Kokujin youth are just innocent victims in a bad system that we need to overthrow with revolution. read more

Variety of stores is alright, though it's definitely no Tanger over in San Marcos. Depending on the time of year, it can be difficult to find a decent parking space, but that's to be expected. Outlet prices tend to be a joke. You're better off enjoying the comfort of your own home, rather than suffering the heat we tend to have in Round Rock (it's late November and almost 80° today). I'm not usually a fan of outlets... Too many people pushing each other around. Just like malls, except out in the heat. Not quite the same here. The experience here is 100 times better than down in San Marcos. I know it's because it's not as well know, not even half the size, etc., but I don't care. It's still better. Anyhow, it is an open-air mall, but unlike San Marcos, it's covered so the sun isn't beating down on your neck the whole time. It's also easy to walk around, and there's plenty of shops. And you're not packed in the stores like sardines. Oh, and they have a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. 'Nuff said. read more

Nice place to mosey around as they have a great selection of premium outlets. It wasn't very crowded and the people in the stores were really nice. We went there looking for specific items and it was nice to get in and find what we were looking for after going into just three stores. read more

San Marcos is way the hell out of the way for me. Disney store? Check, Score, presents for the million kids I know. Movie theater (why is it every time I go to the outlet mall I need a movie ... oh yeah cause it is Austin and in the same zip code as hell, I need me a cool off.) Check ..... sweet So I go, I need some shoes on the cheap, tennis shoes .... who needs to pay through the nose? I start reminiscing about my favorite pair of shoes, they were Sketcher's (don't remember the model) but they were like a short top combat boot, and really comfortable. We hit the store ..... wife also needs a pair of comfortable kicks ..... I go to the men's, she goes to the chick's .... ten minutes, I got nothing, I try on some sandals .... I hate this feeling, they are nice and pillowy when you try them on at the store, two days later that comfortable cushion of air pops and you are walking on hard rubber you can't escape, better to just skip it and save myself from hating the old brand of shoes I don't. Wife, she finds three pairs, can't decide on them. I walk over and take a look ..... huh, those are .... sexy? Flats that are cute, comfortable, and sexy? I don't think we are in Kansas anymore Toto ..... "Buy them all" .... she looks at me with the, great help you are .... I shrug. "You find anything?" "just that I don't want anything, maybe I'll wait until my shoes disintegrate." She looks back down at the shoes. I pick them up, walk over to the register. she goes off to see if she can find a pair of shoes she likes for me. the line is huge, she'll have at least 40 minutes. someone comes into the store talks to the people in front of me ..... half the line vanishes like cockroaches that have just had the lights turned on them. did I miss the fire alarm? "next" ..... I'm looking at the door .... "sir can I help you?" I look at the register .... wth I'm next? I buy the shoes, two of them are ... free?20 bucks for three pairs of women's shoes? ..... walk over to my wife. she looks up confused. "you're done?" "yep" "wow, they are fast" "I guess. no one else bought anything." Love those shoes ..... buy one get two free? the great thing about the outlet mall is that everything is on sale. Everything. Usually ridiculously so. My favorite store there is VanHeusen. I'm a big fan of the Donald Trump shirt collection. (Love him or hate him, he's always well dressed.) I'm a big Florsheim fan and, yep, they've got one. I love Bath and Body Works (warm vanilla sugar if you must know) and yep, they've got one. Even a Starbucks to keep your energy up while you shop. It's also very kid friendly. When I'm there with my sons, they love to stop and play at little playgrounds that are spread throughout. You can also rent racecar strollers near the food court. Great fun. Drawbacks is that it's an open-air mall. So, here in Texas in the summer it's uncomfortably hot. Go in the morning or evening when it's not raining and you'll be happier. All in all, it's great. Buy stuff. There. You'll like it. Just go. Drop everything and go. Right now. Get dressed first. Extremely disappointed with the lying store listing, both online and at the physical location. Traveled 3 hours to come to the Burberry outlet, which I had been to before and which shows up as a current store in the online store listing and map. When we arrived, we made a beeline to where the store should be - and it is not. Looked at the physical map onsite and it shows Burberry's in that location as well, and I promise you it is not. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR PROVIDING MISLEADING INFORMATION. I will likely never return to this location, and I recommend you patronize one of the other outlet malls i. The area - it's worth the teip to San Marcos, where there is an actual Burberry outlet, though they don't carry underwear as they used to - that's another review. You can thank me later. read more

Well, it's the outlet. They have a large number of store, as usual. The place is always kept clean and tidy. Plenty of shade everywhere. Nice food court. Bathrooms are easily accessible. You don't have to walk a mile to find one. They have various things for the kiddos outside...rides, games and such (small area). Kid buggies for all shopping needs. For an outlet mall, this place is awesome. They have a ton of different stores, an easy layout, lots of benches and very open areas to walk around in so I don't feel crowded, even if they are busy. I even went here on Black Friday a couple years ago and it wasn't THAT bad considering. There is ample parking all around the outlets with the food court being centrally located and tons of bathrooms spaced out in the center. Stuff here isn't at reasonable enough prices for me, so I rarely come here to shop, just like I rarely go store shopping period. But when I do, I go here. And yes, if it rains, this is a problem but it is an outdoor outlet mall. What do you expect? read more

Since I live in waaaay South Austin, it takes a lot for me to brave traffic and venture clear across town. Usually if I get a hankering to go shopping at the outlet malls, I drive down to San Marcos since it's a bit closer. But a while ago a friend of mine wanted to make the trek up north to Ikea and the Round Rock Outlets afterwards, so I tagged along. I'm really glad I did. Let me start by saying that I'm not much of a shopper. Most times I know exactly what sort of thing I'm looking for and go and get it or look for something that fits the bill. I also only go into shops where I know they are going to have things I can afford, so all of the high-end frou frou shops at the San Marcos outlets hold no appeal for me. Having said that, I love the Round Rock outlet. It's a hop, skip and a jump from Ikea which is convenient for me. The stores are closer together which makes finding a good place to park easy because no matter where you park, it's never really that far away. They also have a lot of the same stores I like from the San Marcos outlets like Gap, Bass, Clarks, Kipling, etc. I'll most definitely shop here again. read more

Before you read this review, I have to provide a disclaimer stating that this review is written while I am coming off of a major shopping high. I came here today... maybe I had a good weekend, but EVERY store I walked into was 40% off, 50% off... I mean, it's the weekend AFTER labor day so I didn't think there would be too many savings. I told myself, 'i'm only going to Banana Republic, White House/ Black Market, Gap, and New York & Co.".... well, I left with $270 in the hole, and an amazing new wardrobe. I also appreciate the fact that all of my favorite stores were close together so I only visited about a quarter of the outlets... (another reason why I am biased.) All the outlets I had been to previously (San Marcos and a bunch of others on the East Coast) were completely outdoors, so I love the fact that this place was sheltered throughout the complex. I didn't get too hot. Plenty of parking available. Everyone I ran into in the stores was super nice. And let's face it... Why do we shop at outlets? To save. And the sales were ROCKIN'. This place was more dense and less spread out than the San Marcos outlets, with stores that were more stocked and had better sales. It is WORTH the drive, people!! read more

As far as outlet malls go, this one is adequate. Nothing special but not terrible. The main problem I have with this particular outlet mall is that every store you purchase from, there is a 5 to 10 minute check out process. So irritating to have to give a name, phone number, email address, physical address, etc. @ every freakin place you shop at. Also it seems like the stores used to be better value. Since when are outlet malls more expensive than high end department stores? The good part is that all store employees are extremely friendly. Had a bad experience at the Adidas store. I made a purchase on 12/17/19 and lost the receipt. I went back to see if I could exchange the shoe's for a size bigger and they were sold out. So I chose a deferent shoes at a lesser price. When I got to the counter the person said he could look up the receipt with the card used for the purchase. He then ran the card and said nothing came up with the card and could only give me store credit at the current promotion of 50% off. So I was going to loose money on that purchase when I could still show the purchase on my mobile banking app that showed when the purchase went through and the amount. They still insisted that they could not help me except give me credit at current promotion price. I was to loose around 40 dollars just because I lost my receipt. Not happy with costumer service and will never shop or recommend this store to anyone. read more

I have been several times with the kids and had good experiences. With the current temperatures it's a little rough but they do have several shops I have found to have good prices. I have shopped at croc's, sunglass hut, and red wing store. Clean restrooms as well. I'm not real big on everything being an "outlet" store now but whatever works. read more

As far as outlet malls go, this one is a five out of five. As far as all malls go, this one is a ten out of five! would go out of my way to shop here because of the concise selection of stores and no crap. The pricing is great and I usually find more things then I feel like spending money for. The parking and getting around from store to store is easy. There are plenty of clean restrooms and water fountains and the food court actually has some decent places to eat. They even offer beer and wine and you can find an assortment of local food trucks stopped in the central courtyard as well. I would recommend coming here over the San Marcus outlet and then make a stop at IKEA while you're in Round Rock too! read more

This weekend, I swung by the Round Rock "Premium" Outlets to grab some workout gear at the Reebok Outlet. All I needed were a couple of athletic shorts and maybe a pair or two of socks. As per usual I left after visiting at least 8 other stores and spending ~$100, haha. It's damn near impossible to go here to get one thing and not stop in at all the usual favorites. I picked up almost an entire wardrobe at the Banana Republic outlet (love that place) for $65. The parking here is not fantastic - I always find myself spending a good 10 minutes searching for a spot or parking half a mile out. The other drawback is there are not nearly as many stores as the San Marcos outlets. Although the San Marcos outlets can be somewhat intimidating because it's so enormous (that's what she said!). read more

This outlet mall is better than the one in San Marcos in my opinion. It never really gets overly crowded during the regular store hours and most times you can find great deals! I frequently shop at GAP and Carter's, as a matter of fact I went there yesterday. Both stores were having great sales on baby clothes and both women's and men's fall tops! I got a cute pair of shoes and the baby made out with the most! He got sleepers, thermals, 2 jumpers and 2 wind-suit outfits along with a sweat suit. I only paid $70 for all that I got! A lot of great places to shop and an excellent area for the food court. Many of the stores offer Veterans discount. You can even get a veterans discount if you need one of the kid carts and you are a military veteran. There is plenty of places to park. I would recommend to park where you are mostly going to shop. The outlet is a decent size but not as huge as the San Marcos Outlets. Definitely come visit if you are local to the area or just visiting and passing through. read more

Huge numbers of stores + tons of people = Something you like or something you put up with, basically, in our society. Growing up, the closest "outlet mall" was in Sealy, TX. If you've ever seen the Sealy outlet mall (weak sauce, and now a community college campus, if I recall correctly), you'll see quickly that it just doesn't compare to a place like the Round Rock outlet center, which has a large number of stores that just aren't bargain-hunter friendly and a lot of stores you'd never dream of stepping foot in. That said, if you're the type to spend $100-plus on single items of clothing in recognizable, mainstream name brands, this could be your place to save a little. Just don't trust the map kiosks, which aren't really oriented in any sensible way, if you're even the slightest bit directionally challenged, as I am. I came looking for a new comforter, and didn't find any one store that called out to me, "I sell bedding!" And I didn't see anything of the sort in any store I entered. Boo to that. But yay for the steep discounts on Gap clothes (the only store with actual cheap, quality merchandise I entered!). Sometimes it's nice to go to the mall and breathe fresh air between stores. If that's your idea of a good time, this is your place. read more

I went to find a dress for an upcoming cruise formal night begrudgingly - I didn't really want to drive all the way up there, but it seemed like the most reasonable way to get a deal on a dress that didn't come from a thrift store or Ross. We hit up EVERY store that had dresses here, which took less time than I expected, 'cause there wasn't that great of a selection. However, I found at least one dress that would work at every store - papaya had a beautiful sundress for 30$ I almost bought, but it wasn't dressy enough. BCBG girls had a hot little black dress for 30$, which I almost bought, but I probably haven't shown that much cleavage since I was about...well, never. BCBG (not girls) had a huge selection of dresses, none of which grabbed me besides one they didn't have my size in, thankfully, because I think the cheapest dress I picked out was close to 100$. Then, I ended up in Jones New York, where I tried on every dress in the store in my size, and had to fight hard to walk out with just 2, and paid under 65$ for them. Have to give props to the very friendly staff at BCBG girls and Jones New York, they were super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back here to do some general shopping. I'm not a huge "mall" fan, but so many stores and so many deals in one place... I can learn to cope. 4 stars for now for the friendly staff, the good deals, and finding me 2 dresses in less than 3 hours. I love living so close to a premium outlet! I have experienced the outlet on different days, times, and weather conditions. I enjoy the variety of stores and most the time there are always good deals. I do not enjoy the crazy parking, being outdoors when it is Texas summer, and the kids running a muck. I went today (Thursday) in the afternoon and it did not take long to find a parking spot and it was not very busy at all. I will continue to shop here and it is a great all day trip if you have guests in town. For the brave and daring I recommend midnight madness which happens the midnight of Thanksgiving/Black Friday. It is definitely madness but there are some great deals. read more

This outlet is conveniently located off I35 and it is a shorter drive than traveling to San Marcos (larger outlet). It has the stores that the mall near my house doesn't have but of course outlet stores will not have the current merchandise .ie Michael Kors, Coach .etc so it's mainly if there was something specific I was looking for that may not be in store locations anymore. It's nice that the entrances to the stores are located within the inner perimeter of the outlet and are all covered. It is a newer outlet and there are many restaurants and additional stores located nearby. So why 2 stars? 1. Good location, however there were groups of kids everywhere!!!! They were load and unruly obviously unsupervised. It's the summer so it's to be expected. 2. The biggest issue is the PRICES!!!! Every store had regular store prices. For example: Bath & Body Works... I planned to stock up on 3-wick candles but the scent I wanted was not on sale and was the regular prices of $22.50 each and the off season scents were 50% off. Well the store location has the same sale so what's the point???? Not only was it this way in this store but all the stores I went into. These outlets are pretty okay- the typical Premium Outlets, but not so large and far apart that you have to break a sweat getting from one side to another. Don't expect much in the way of food, it's typical outlet mall food court stuff, but if you're looking to snag some good deals, give yourself an hour or two and you can cover the place with a quick jaunt. read more
