I think I caught on five minutes before when I was helping this lady fill out her registration papers. You see, English was her second language, so I was helping her, and that's how I found out I should be filling out papers, too. I told her she needs to be helping me. But it got worse on my end and the lady's end that I was helping. I got to the counter, and the nice lady told me we were supposed to be filling out the New State Registration Papers. So, with all that being said, the process did not take no more than 30 minutes. It was still a quick process. Yes, I suggested taking another number and starting from scratch, and the process was still fast. Now, let me tell you a little about the building. I parked toward the front. But that isn't where you go inside. The front door is in the back of the building. I parked in the wrong area. Also, as you go inside, you can use your phone to get a number or check in on the computer. Also, there are two lobbies--one to the right and one to the left. You can't see the one to the right. So if they call to come to counter five, go to the right.

I entered the office which was very quiet and not too busy, small and clean. I checked in on the pad and then realized I needed my cell phone to be aware of when it was my turn, so I went to hobble out and get my phone when a lady came out the door and said come back in I will take care of you. Yolanda was exceptional. She was aware of my situation as she had been in the same spot. She was so sweet and easy going. I was in and out in under ten minutes. Shout out to a special lady!!!

The county has an impressive half-million people, so it's no small parcel of land. It's become the home to a lot of new people, as Austin has been growing tremendously, and people are moving in from across the country to become Texans, and make Williamson County their homes. Williamson County has lots of shopping options, with major retailers here making giant shopping complexes and outlet malls. Recently, Texas built the Toll Road that goes around east Austin, and really opened up access to the eastern part of Williamson County, creating lots of opportunity for growth. The county has some parks and green spaces that make it a good place to visit. Most people just go zipping through it along I-35, but if you slow down a lil', you might see some scenery.

Came here without an appointment because the online scheduler wasn't working for me. I arrived at…read more7:50am and walked in. There was a line to kiosks that I used to schedule an appointment. What was amazing was that same-day appointments were released right as I was working on the kiosk, and I was able to snag an 8:20am appointment slot! A ticket was printed out with my confirmation number. I grabbed a paper application to renew my license and used one of their pens to fill it out. Only 1 out of 3 pens were working, so I recommend bringing your own pen. At around 8:15am, my number was called and I went to my assigned counter number. I showed them my driver's license and my passport card to prove my citizenship. The person at the window walked me through all that I needed to do. I paid the $33 fee using a credit card. All-in-all, I was at the counter for about 5 minutes before the process was finished. A temporary paper permit was issued to me, and I was told my new driver's license would be mailed to me in 2-3 weeks. There's ample parking available at this location, right off of HWY 183, and quite a bit of tree shade, at least in the morning. I plan to return here the next time I need to get my license renewed in person!

The benefits I get far outweigh the cost.

My wife and i and a friend and two of her children walked around and tried just about everything being offered by these amazing restaurants and caterers. A lot of our favorite places were here, Jack Allen's Kitchen, Greenhouse Local Craft Food, Fire & Ice Pizza Bar. Some of the businesses were giving out coupons for appetizers and discounts....i must admit we loved that! This is a fantastic way to try foods from places you may not have visited yet! Today I went to the R.R.P.D to drop off old medication for the annual old Rx drop-off. This is a…read morecommunity event where those who have unused or old medication may drop it off to be disintegrated of properly so the medication will not be used illegally or sold. This is a wonderful idea as it advocates for cleaner water and streams (for those who place medication down sinks and waste ways). In addition, this event is a "no questions asked" event. I have been here before for other events such as the R.R.P.D summer camp for youth. My son has attended a week of camp here with the R.R.P.D. These week long camps are held every summer, are free to the public, and are ran by R.R.P.D. These summer camps stress the importance of teamwork, physical fitness and the importance of being a law abiding person. #backthebadge

I was experiencing an incredibly stressful personal emergency that morning and was attempting to make it to a critical doctor's appointment. The officer was entirely unsympathetic to the situation and deliberately prolonged the citation process, which ultimately caused me to miss my appointment. Additionally, the municipal court's system is highly inconvenient; I was advised by a clerk that citations cannot even be viewed for a week due to department delays in uploading paperwork. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the department's commitment to community policing and standard administrative competence.
