This is a really cool spot and great for a group or party. They have three big simulator bays with a bunch of different games so there's something for everyone, which was awesome. The service was great too, they checked in on us a lot and made sure we were good. The downsides were the equipment felt pretty old and beat up, and the food was just okay. We wanted to try something new and this was wonderful, we plan to come back often to sharpen our skills and try more of the menu. When we arrived the restaurant had just opened and we were able to get a lot of information on how the screens worked and how to use them to make the experience more enjoyable. Rounds was fun to try for the first time. I have been wanting to try the pizza and simulators and the hubs and I finally did. I like that you can rent a whole booth for the same price, regardless if you have 2 or 6 people. A server comes right to your booth, while you are playing, for food and drink orders. There are all sorts of supplies at each booth as well. An assorted of different sports balls, bats, golf clubs, depending on what type of games you want to play. I suggest bringing more than two people because we were pretty tired by the end of and hour. I think for us to go back, they would need to be more on point with the technology. The computer system wasn't easy to navigate. The mouse worked sometimes but not other's. Touch screen worked some screens and not others. If you accidentally clicked on a game that you didn't mean to, sometimes you would just need to play it through, which was annoying. I may go back to eat, but probably not to play at this point. So much fun for everyone! We had a ball or two playing the variety of games at Rounds. Located in the Mayfaire shopping center in Wilmington, NC across from Brunches (see last review) . We booked a bay for one hr in the afternoon and enjoyed the comfort of playing indoors in their state of the art simulator. Food/Drinks (both alcohol and non)are available at the bar or order with your server at the bay. Reservations are highly recommended. I went with my husband /daughter on a Friday and we all had our game faces on ready to play golf, soccer, dodgeball,baseball, basketball and football. If it's a game that imbed a ball they had it (except no tennis). All in all,we made the most of our hour and would definitely return on a Sunday or Monday when it's half off! read more

We had a lot of fun here for Father's Day. We did make a reservation a few days prior and went with our little one. When we got there, we were shown our bay, explained how everything went, and then our drink orders were taken. We only reserved for an hour, which for two adults and a kid was perfect. The only complaint we had was the scensors were not really accurate. When playing certain games, you would have to aim like a food above where the image was for it to connect or say you hit the target, but once you got that down it was fine. We only had a drinks and then the pickle spears while there, so not too much comment on the food options. Overall, a fun place to go with family for friends! read more

So the way I was introduced this place was that it was like Top Golf... That's not how I would recommend it to someone... I would say it's like your neighborhood bar splurged on some VR equipment. There are about three bays for Virtual Games and then a fourth specifically for Golf only. These bays are immediately to your left as you walk in, so the privacy is slim to none, you and your group are right in on the bar and other action. Which could be fun if you had a large group, but when you're looking for some privacy and a side conversation... this is not the place. I feel a very local vibe from here, which is also to be noted. It wouldn't be the place if you didn't want to possibly engage in a side conversation about the traffic or the game playing. Food was overall good, but nothing rave worthy. I think if you're coming here it's mainly for the drinks and friendly faces. read more

Rounds is such a great place to casually hangout or go out with friends, drink lots of delicious whiskey and wine...possibly get a little tipsy and play tons of games while doing it! I think what really sets them aside is the fact that their simulators are so much different than I had ever seen before. They don't just offer golf...they also have baseball, football, zombie dodgeball, carnival games for the kids, cricket, and so much more!! It markets everyone in the family. Like I said before, the wine and whiskey is prime but they also have some killer prices in town for the quality of alcohol and food. Not to mention so much yummy cheese...like for real who doesn't love cheese & wine. I came here for the first time with a yelp event and could not have been more pleased! The bartenders and staff were great from using the simulator to ordering drinks everyone was so willing to help. They have a good selection of beer, wine, and liquor and a surprising variety on the menu. Everything with Brie was great! Pretty much we tried any cheese item on the menu and you couldn't go wrong with any of them! I went into this expecting to be terrible at some golf and try some snacks but I was so wrong! I could also be terrible at soccer, football, and even zombie dodgeball?!? I did not expect so many different features on the simulator. Nice find near our hotel. The food was really good - pizza was delicious, as were the wings. Good beer selection & the bartender was able to make some unique drinks...she was very attentive too. I went to rounds with my family and a friends family (age range 18-51) and we all had an amazing time. We rented the VIP simulator which was plenty of room for our group and more! The simulator is great for golf but it was so cool that they had other game options! We really enjoyed trying them all while we ate their awesome food! The quesadilla was great as was the charcuterie! They also have a good selection of beer and wines and a nice bar and lounge area.
