This place ran very efficiently! I think that was the most commented thing on their reviews. Walk up to the address on the website, the tables and check-in is on the beach. 1) Check-in at the canopy and sign vouchers 2) They will offer a bin to put your stuff in 3) You'll be directed to go to the flags by the shore to line-up and ride the banana boat out to the boat. 4) If you get sea-sick, take medication! Don't risk it! 5) If you intend to give a tip, bring it with you (it may get wet) but there's a jar on the boat. Otherwise, you can tip them at the tent where you look at photos. 6) The ride will last about 15 minutes up in the air, but in our case, there was another group. So we were on the boat waiting while they were up in the air. 7) they will dunk you, no question! 8) Once you're back in shore, photos will be on iPads that they can give you the SD card or AirDrop them to you (for iPhone users). They operate right off of the North Myrtle Beach shore. They work like a well oiled machine. the staff there is very friendly. The woman that took my appointment, the guy that drove the banana boat shuttle, the boat captain Derek, the boats first mate and the banana boat recovery crew were all awesome. They could not have made the experience any better. We had a group of 6 that wanted to go parasailing and were able to get an appoint less than 2 hours from our call. They have a big blue tent set up on the beach for you to check-in, and they have beach chairs and umbrellas set up right on the beach for you to wait. We went on a semi rough surf day. Other parasail boats had packed up for the day. But not them. What is even cooler about them is that you have to take a banana boat ride to and from the parasail boat. The ride was very cool in the rough surf. You can parasail solo, double up or as a trio. We opted to do 3 doubles. They take photos of your flight, that they can transfer directly to your phone (for an additional fee). One of the members of my party got a little motion sick. The boat crew was very supportive and helpful with getting them through the exodus of their breakfast. At the end of your flight, they dip you in the water. I did parasailing on today (4/18/21) for my 24th birthday. I called in the morning around 10/11 and made a reservation for 3:30pm. Upon arrival, you walk on the beach, sign the waiver, put your items in a bucket, get a life jacket, and then wait. To get to the parasail boat, you have to take a ride on a banana boat. This was cool. I enjoyed it. The banana boat is driven by a guy on the jet ski. Once you're on the boat, you wait your turn and they get everything ready for you. There is a guy who takes pictures of you during the parasail. You then can buy them (for $30) afterward. They are sent to your phone via airdrop. If you don't have an iPhone, you get the SD card. I think $30 is pretty expensive, especially for digital photos. I think $10 would be more appropriate, if anything. I honestly think that since it cost $60, they should be included. Another issue I had was that I was told airtime is about 10 minutes... it was only about 6-7 mins. Airtime was important In my decision. Other companies said 10-12 mins but they cost a bit more. Once in the air, it's honestly smooth sailing. You get dipped in the water right before the ride is over. If you are in the air and look down, all you see is jellyfish! I was told that they don't/won't sting you, but I was still nervous about that. Overall, This was my first time and I enjoyed it. It really wasn't bad. I was mostly scared because I saw and finished the show "Who Killed Sara?" on Netflix a few days ago... The best part was that I got to do it twice! A guy didn't have anyone to go with (as there must be 2 people) and they let me go with him free of charge. I just wished each ride was 10 mins, as I was told, and that the digital pictures didn't cost so much! As an added note, you can do just the banana boat for $20. Would 100% recommend this company if you are looking for a fun adventure while on vacation. We booked a parasailing trip through them and had a great time. The workers are professional, thorough and dedicated to making sure you have a wonderful experience. An added bonus, they document your adventure by taking pictures and then airdrop them to you after purchasing. For someone who has gone parasailing before, this is a little overpriced as we paid $70 per person and the ride was only about 6 minutes. This was a fantastic experience! The staff and crew were excellent at giving directions and explaining everything. We reserved space on Monday, but they were cancelled due to high winds. So, we reschedule for Tuesday. As soon as we arrive on the beach, we checked in, paid, picked out our life jackets and hopped on the banana boat. The banana boat brought us out to the speedboat where we hopped in; as soon as the other family was on the banana boat we were in the harnesses and in the air. The crew was friendly, polite and ensured all safety measures were taken. We came back in and back onto the banana boat and off to shore. They were efficient and professional. Very bad, I do not recommend using this service. We paid almost 300 for three teenagers. We hoped that for such money we would have memories in the form of photos. The kids and we were very upset because after the parasailing, we were simply told that there was an error and there were no photos. 2nd time parasailing in myrtle. First time was with another company and had a horrible experience - we had reservations and still had to wait on the beach with no shade for 35-40 mins and then only got to parasail for about 4-5 mins. This year we went with new wave watersports, and what a difference. the website/online reservation was a breeze and accepted apple pay for convenience. We arrived on-time and checkin was smooth we were told to wait by the water to keep us cool. About 5 mins later they called our number and we were taken to the boat. The captain and mate were nice and took pictures of everything. We got to parasail for about 10-12 mins. Checking out, they offer all the pics for a fee and airdrop them right to your phone (attached just one). We were all done within 60 mins and back on the beach at our condo enjoying the rest of our day. Turn key operation...dont look elsewhere. read more

This was such a great experience parasailing for the first time. All the staff was friendly and all worked well together. Our wait time was very minimal. The girls that help you check in were very efficient. They take you out to the ocean on a banana boat which was a fun ride also. My kids and I had Derek and Ricky which were great! They explained everything great especially to my little guy. We had such a great experience my kids and I went back the next day and we were lucky to get Derek and Ricky again which they noticed us. 1st thing is that the company suggest having reservations which was not a problem as we got them for 4pm. We arrived at 3;45 and got all logged in and fitted for life jackets. We stood around till 4:30 at which they took us out on a banana boat and sat about 200 yards out for another 20 minutes. I asked the manager what was going on and he said that they will be taking out party to the parasail boat in a few minutes. After asking why we needed a reservation if they did not run their company by them, he was rude and did not answer the question. By time the kids got up in the air they were up there exactly 6 minutes for $60.00 per person and we had 3 people that flew together at one time. Personally I feel this was not a good deal at all especially after being jacked around for 45 minutes after our reservation. My biggest problem with this company is that they were trying to pressure us into tipping the caption BEFORE the trip! I am so glad we did not tip because this was not a good experience. They had a good range of life jackets to fit my entire group and got me out right on time. We took the banana boat to the parasail boat which was such a nice touch and the captain Derek was great. I have a huge fear of heights and the ocean but have always wanted to try parasailing. I finally got enough courage up to do this but ONLY if they wouldn't dip me in the ocean. The operator promised and I went along with it. I actually really enjoyed it at first. I was surprised to feel so calm and not afraid...only to be dipped at the end ANYWAY despite my asking them not to (and them promising)...and right after spotting a shark a few seconds before being lowered so that was REALLY nice. Smh These guys get off on dipping ppl because in their own words "they'll dip every person they have, because they always do." They don't care about your requests or if your phobias are genuine. They don't know why someone has the fears they do and I think it's a pretty asshole move to trick ppl. But It's something they get a kick out of and expect their customers to just accept. They actually ruined my experience... maybe it was worth it to them. If you're a person who isn't 100% into this or has reservations do to fear...go somewhere else. They won't honor the promises they make and may end up making your fears worse!!! read more

Went on 7/16/21 - had a blast on the banana boat. My issue comes in the fact that organization was extremely poor re: paying for the excursion. More importantly, there is no means to safeguard your things other than to leave it at the tent with staff while you wait almost an hour to ride. I came back to find my prescription medication was stolen from my bag. A better system needs to be put in place and all of the employees ought to be drug tested considering what they do could result in death if an accident occurs. I wish they'd ask ahead of time whether or not you want to be "dipped" because some folks may want to film or take pictures on their phone while up in the air, and the dip could cause you to damage or lose it completely. I recently went Parasailing and man I will tell you it was so scary waiting for the ride to begin.First of all, they take you on a banana boat ride out to the parasailing boat. Trust me though the name banana boat isn't as friendly as it sounds! You then arrive on the boat and the employees put on your harness and they launch you in the sky. We vacationing in N Myrtle Beach and my daughter was determined to parasail. The weather was extremely windy all week and the Coast Guard kept the small craft out of the water most of the week. I don't want to dog someone's business but the guys in the boat were very rude and made fun of my wife, friend & son also asking if they spoke Spanish. They also did not explain how the return to the boat was going to be and they yelled look up & when the 3 of them came in the hit the rear platform real hard hurting my wife's hip.
