We felt like the 2026 Santa Fe hybrid Calligraphy was the best model for us. We are very different in heights and have to have a vehicle that both of us are comfortable to drive and ride. Everybody was friendly, but could have been more helpful and informative. Front counter gathers all your personal information. We did not like this process because this happens before we could actually look around. We were greeted before we could get out of our vehicle. Pushy? The sale felt pressured and hurried for no need. No detailed information for our direct questions, even incorrect information being provided. Just get the deal done. We have never bought an extended warranty or maintenance plan before. We bought the Platinum highest priced plan. We didn't know Hyundai quit doing the free oil change? We knew we were being hustled and prepaying for maintenance at a higher rate and who wants to read or can fully understand the fine print. We felt ok because we wanted peace of mind for such a complicated vehicle. The best outcome is the vehicle will never need repairing. This is the worst dealership in all of vero beach area. I went in there today along with 5 other dealerships in vero. This was the only one that had absolutely horrible sales and customer service. They refused to show us any vehicles unless taking on full information and sitting at a sales table for some time and even after doing so they wanted to know exactly what vehicle we wanted and refused to step outside to show us the different models of vehicles available. We had a horrible experience with them. We decided to lease a Ioniq 5 from them a few months ago. The salesman promised us a Level 2 charger for free and $600 towards installation. We found out later that it came with a catch. The only way we got a free charger was if we used their exclusive partner to install. They quoted us $1758 for installation. Beware... Route 60 Hyundai does not care about you, the consumer! Stay away, we learned the hard way. Brought our 2017 Hyundai Tucson Turbo model to complete oil consumption tests that were started in CT, and needed to commence here at Route 60 Hyundai in Vero Beach. With no questions asked, and after assuring us that if we just completed the necessary oil consumption tests, that would prove to Hyundai that the car had a big issue burning oil,as this model is known and documented for, that we would then receive a new engine for this notorious "bad" model that Hyundai sold. I would assume that the service person (Jeremy) would know that this had a cap of 100,000 miles despite that fact that it was discussed more than once that since the process of oil consumption testing was done at close to the warranty mileage it would all be documented and we would be just fine. We continued to rack up thousand after thousand of mile to test the oil and that's when we blew the cylinder and the car is finished. To add insult to injury, the manager/owner Emma told us she understood our frustration and would work with us to get into a new car. She knew the loan had a 10,000.00 balance. She showed us a baseline Tucson to lease with 10,000 miles per year, for over $700 per month! Are you kidding? Oh, and $500 for the scrap metal on our now useless Tucson!! That's helping out??? Who in their right mind would buy another Hyundai after this experience. They responded with " I'm sorry" ! Seriously, they wanted nothing to do with it, except to try to rip us off again. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. We were notified by Hyundai corporate that our 2017 Santa Fe was due for recall work regarding anti-corrosion protection. Last week, I walked into Route 60 Hyundai to make the appointment; we brought it in today, dropped off the key, and left it for the afternoon. An hour ago, my wife got texts: " After inspection, your technician at Route 60 Hyundai recommends additional services to be completed. Please reply yes to confirm the services ... " A laundry list of other work followed, with estimates totaling more than $1500 *without* taxes or unspecified "shop supplies." This is consequent to taking the car in purely for a free recall update. What are they doing, going into such a detailed "courtesy inspection" when all we wanted was the recall work? This is pure churn. The list claimed we needed replacement sway bars (both ends), tires rotated, alignment, injector service, brake fluid flush, wipers, and air filter. Problem for these people: Prior to our final trek as we moved here, the car was given its annual inspection per Pennsylvania law, including things like suspension components, tires, brakes, and alignment, and it passed that inspection with flying colors, no repairs required. Furthermore, this past weekend, we traveled from Vero Beach to Tampa and back, roughly 400 miles incl around-town driving in Tampa, and twice along the way on straight stretches of road, I let go of the wheel just to see whether it was still tracking true, and it is, no alignment needed. We confirmed nothing in the texts, of course. I walked in to pick it up. The guy behind the counter pulled paperwork for it, saying, "Let me get [name I didn't catch], she had some things..." I cut him off: "We got texts. We're not interested." Again, this is just churning, looking to get unsuspecting marks to cough up extra $$$. Stay away. went at 1:00 for a 15,000 mile check up. I had no appointment I told them I needed the car by 3:00 could it be done . I was told by Gage that it was slow day they could have me in and out. Needless to say other customers had their vehicle serviced they came after me they didn't put my car on the lift till 1:30 and it sat there they did nothing and only began to work on it at 2:45.. I spoke to Gage again and told him I needed my vehicle he said it take 5 more minutes but of course I didn't get my vehicle back till 3:30 after I made a scene and told him I needed it cuz I was late for my appointment. If you want to get your car serviced and they tell you that they can get it done don't believe them. Paid 2500.00 for new charcoal filter with assorted parts and labor and the vehicle is not fixed Now they tell me it will take another 4000.00 to fix it. I guess their business model is to rip off senior citizens and laugh all the way to the bank... One star is way to many ! I brought my Azera in for service due to a recurring pinging noise coming from the engine. As I had an extended warranty, it took quite a while to get their approval for the fixes initially diagnosed and recommended. Well, there was more as the problems ran deeper, so the warranty company dragged their feet again and partially approved some of the additional recommended items. After 2 months, as if the above delays were not enough, getting the exact parts was difficult and time consuming. The parts needed to be bored out to exact dimensions and that took several attempts until they got it right. During this period, the dealership did everything they could for me by providing me with a loaner car when needed and keeping me apprised of what was happening. In the end, there was some significant matters that needed to be handled between the dealership, insurance company & I since the engine was torn down and put back more times than the insurance company wanted to pay. Fortunately, the owner of the dealership, who I had not met before this matter, became aware of my issues since my car was at the dealership for a really long time, so he decided to see what was happening. He determined that the problems encountered were between the insurance company and his dealership and that they should not impact or be my problem to deal with. He stepped in, did all the right things - and then some more - to make sure that I was completely taken care of. BUT, we could not be more pleased than we were with Route 60 Hyundai. Sales people were so polite and we definitely did not feel as though we were being dealt with by your proverbial "car salesman". They know their stuff and they will work with you. They seem to be more of a family business than other dealerships we've worked with over the decades and they are definitely patient! I wanted to pass on my bad experience trying to purchase an automobile at Route 60 Hyundai. I was interested in purchasing a new 2022 Tucson Hybrid which had an MSRP of $38,345. Today's automobile market, the way it is with automobile shortages due to computer chips, the dealer has marked up the price nearly $10,000 on a second dealer added window sticker. There was a market adjustment amount and a dealer fees amount that made the final price $46,635. I understand the economics of the market and even with that being said I think it's a bit excessive to the point of price gouging. When they gave me their best price they were very generous to give me a $1,297 discount for a final price of $45,338. What a deal! But what really was upsetting is the scam they tried to pull when they offered me a lease price for the vehicle. I've been leasing vehicles for over 20 years. I was a financial manager before I retired and understand how to calculate a lease price using the MSRP, the negotiated price, the money factor and the residual price. Anyone can find a lease calculator online to double check the dealer. So the lease price that I was given at the dealership was $200/mo. more than it should have been based on the numbers they gave me. When a lease price is overstated by $200/mo. that's equivalent to adding $8,000 to the sales price. That was a lease price for $790/mo. This put the vehicle cost at about $53,338 for a Hyundai with a MSRP of $38,345. I just wanted to pass this along to my friends and neighbors. I think that Route 60 Hyundai is a low volume, high profit per vehicle type dealership because they don't have any nearby Hyundai competition. My advice if you want a Hyundai is go to a high volume honest dealership. Route 60 Hyundai is outright scamming people. read more

We went to Route 60 Hyundai at 8575 Route 60 in Vero Beach, Florida on March 3rd where we were promised a Visa Gift Card if we did a road test of Kona. We were promised there would be no pressure. First of all, there was a great deal of pressure, even though we said we were gathering information. Secondly, they had little interest in getting us our gift card and kept skirting around the issue. All of a sudden we needed a code. We got the code and the manager said we would get an email within an hour sending us the gift card. It is now March 15th and we still did not get the gift card. I will NOT buy a car from anyone that does not honor their promises. If they can't honor a gift card, how can I trust them to keep their commitments to us. Furthermore, I contacted hyundaiusa.com and chatted with Monica C. I still have not gotten my gift card. This leaves me to believe that the Hyundai Corporation is not willing to keep their commitments either. This is a shame because we were set on buying the Kona, only needed a little more time to digest what we saw and perhaps see how well they honor their commitments. FAILED read more

Make sense to me... everyone wants to get rid of the 2019s as we head into October. TOTAL AND COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. They jerk me around with 'rebates' and which rebates I qualify or don't qualify for. In the end, they won't honor their military discount and they actually, seriously have a TERRIBLE offer on a 2019 car -so says car gurus and true car. Took car in for check engine light & steering wheel adjustment button not working. Got a quote for $1700 for the check engine, seemed OK. But then the second item, button on steering column was another $1700 as they stated the dash may break. Um ok. No, don't do repairs. Service clerk immediately dropped the price $400. What? No, even more so now! Picked up the car, had to have them add that the dash might break on the report as they omitted that. While driving home the panel kept falling off onto my feet. Had to drive home bent over to hold the panel up so I could reach the gas & brake. It was fine when I took it in. They could have told me in advance this was a possibilty, or admitted to breaking it. Instead, they half put the panel back, left all the broken pieces on my floor mat & let me drive off. Now they are requesting I drive back 45 minutes to return to their facility. read more

My review is solely for the service area- Rhett was my service advisor (absolutely love him)!! I had the unfortunate luck of my Hyundai breaking down recently while visiting from out of town. On the bright side I broke down LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT of the dealership. I walked over & was greeted by Rhett who offered to have the car looked at. The fear I was feeling at that time was super real as I have no problems stating I hate dealerships and avoid them like the plague but thankfully they found the issue, it was covered fully by warranty and although they told me the repair would take a few days knowing I was from out of town and was supposed to leave that day they pulled favors from God and the angels and got my car fixed in 24 hours! A mechanic was able to look quickly at our car, engine was ordered, and installed , and we had our car back in 10 days. Route 60 Hyundai sent me down to get a rental car from Enterprise car rental as they were out of loaner cars, as my car had a recall with bad engine that was a warranty claim. Upon arrival at Enterprise I told them that Route 60 had sent me over. The Enterprise agent called Route 60 to verify my car rental, I was told that I can only have a Hyundai vehicle, I said no problem as they were paying for it. A few months go by and I received a Bill from Enterprise car rental for the whole rental ! When I called Route 60 they told me that I rented the car myself. Lies from this company, I purchased 3 cars last year from them and they are trying to screw me over. Route 60 gave my car back with a check engine light on after they just put a new Engine in the car under warranty. They said that the check engine light was a sensor that wasn't covered. Funny thing I never had any check engine lights on before. I'm guessing they screwed up the sensor when taking my old engine out. They lost my business for being dishonest. As for the general manager I'm not surprised car sales men get a bad name. Route 60 said I kept the rental car longer than I should have, funny I was told to keep the rental car until they put the new censor in the car. When my girlfriend questioned them about the price discrepancy, the manager said " don't you know everybody's doing this''. She hung up on him mid-sentence. Looks like we're getting a Lexus Hybrid in Viera for the same amount they wanted to charge us at Rte. 60 for the Sonata Hybrid. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! So disappointing if this is what it has really come to. This was an easy sale for this dealership. I walked in knowing what I wanted, and monthly payment. They had supposedly only 1 car to choose from. Drove it, gave me what the going rate was for the car as I already did my research. I bought it for more than the planned monthly payment but agreed on it nonetheless. Not a great deal, not a good deal, just an okay deal. Nothing was really explained to me on the car. When I got to final paperwork in the finance office, he wanted me to pay $13.00 more than agreed monthly rate. I refused. Back and forth. So stayed at my agreed original monthly rate. God I hate this. Got a car, lots of clapping from the staff and off I go. Much to my disappointment, I realized that there is only a 1/2 tank of gas. When I called to inquire if this is policy after buying a $17,000 car, financed for 5 years, the receptionist said nobody could talk to me right now, they are busy clapping for someone who just bought a car. WHAT???? Let's try this conversation again, when they are done clapping, can I speak to a manager or my sales person. Oh What can I help you with? It took me 3 times to try to explain to her they could now cash my check that cleared. She just could not get that simple message, then try to go on to ask about the gas issue. Forget it! Well 4 days went by and no call back from the dealership. I called back for a manager again. I was switched to the service department, transferred to the manager who hung up on me thinking I was someone else. Got him back on the phone and there was never much response from him. I had to keep asking if he was there. Anyway LONG story short here, he says, yes it's all dealers policy when you buy a used car that they do not fill it with gas. Seriously you all??? This is just mind numbing!! I have bought a lot of used cars and they are always filled with gas. Also there was a stain in the back seat that my sales person said he would clean. Never did. I cleaned it right out myself. My final comments are, I'm dumfounded, they are lazy, cheap and a dealership who only cares about that sale and get out! I'm out! Service Department Review (Cumulative Across Three Visits) - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! It takes multiple phone calls to even reach the service department (don't leave a message, they won't get back to you) to get on the books. Twice now I have made an appointment, gone in, waited 30-60 minutes, only to be called up to the front and told my car did not qualify for an oil change yet, despite the fact that my vehicle was telling me it was overdue. Also twice, my tire pressure warning light on. They brought the car back up after wasting an hour of my time, without an oil change, with the light STILL ON! When I asked them why it was still on, the guy from the back said he filled the tires and the guy from the front tried to figure out what was wrong. After looking at the sticker on the car door, the man from the front realized the man from the back had not filled the tires to the correct pressure. The guy from the back said he assumed it was the same pressure as the Santa Fe. Why did you not check if you weren't sure?! I have a Venue, not a Santa Fe. They took the car BACK around back and finally fixed it, but I wasted 2 hours of my day driving to and from and waiting. I wanted my first issue on my first visit to just be a solitary problem and gave them the benefit of the doubt before writing a review. Unfortunately, after three separate visits, I'm convinced this is the worst service department in the area. read more

I stopped in and David immediately helped me. He worked with me and was able to pull up all of my information. He realizes that i was in a time crunch and was able to get me in ASAP. My rating is a negative 10, but I had to select a star to post. My fiancé and I just left Route 60 Hyundai dealership and are completely shocked and appalled at the general manager, Patrick (who refused to provide his last name, but we did a little research and discovered that his REAL name is Fred Hanson) and the finance manager's menacing and threatening behavior. We test drove a vehicle that we really liked and were prepared to pay CASH for, until they tried to tack on a 62% (almost $20,000) mark-up, which they referred to as the "market adjusted price" to the internet, advertised price of the vehicle. Upon my fiancé calling them out (pretty harshly, I will admit) on their obvious attempt to overcharge us, we walked out only to be followed to our car by these two aggressive, angry, and threatening men. Patrick (Fred Hanson) then proceeded to yell and curse at my fiancé trying to justify their dishonest business practices and when I attempted to calm the situation down, he got in my face and yelled profanity at me and verbally assaulted me! I was about to contact the police, as Patrick (Fred Hanson) would not stop yelling and cursing at us, until I guess he realized that he crossed a line and he began walking away, but was still yelling and cursing like a deranged lunatic.
