My experience with the Mitsubishi dealership warrants a strong and critical evaluation, as the series of events surrounding my vehicle have been extremely disappointing. I acquired my vehicle last year, just a month before my birthday, marking my first venture into purchasing from a dealership. At that time, I was balancing two jobs, serving/hosting while working at a nursing facility. It was a lot, but I was driven to reward myself with a new vehicle. Initially, the dealership staff appeared friendly and eager to assist, but my confidence began to diminish after I received my vehicle and did not retrieve the second key that was promised during my purchase. It took a few months for this issue to get resolved; they finally contacted a locksmith to get the second key because the dealer lied about the vehicle already having one. The problems did not stop there. A few months into ownership, I experienced significant issues after an oil change. My vehicle started to drive funny, as if it was slowing down. Upon inspection, it became clear that the mechanics had not secured the oil cover properly, neglecting to replace the screws. This negligence resulted in serious damage to my vehicle. Despite promptly returning to the dealership to address this oversight, I was appalled to find that the same damaged oil cover was reattached. Predictably, it detached while I was driving on the highway, causing further damage, including breaking clips that held the front bumper in place, car pieces underneath, and ripping out any lining around my right wheel. I had went back to the mechanics and they tried to hold the side piece that broke off with zip ties. Faced with these unacceptable circumstances, I submitted a one-star review. In response, I was contacted by management, who attempted to persuade me to remove the review in exchange for resolving my issues. I complied, yet the promised remedies were not delivered. Instead, I was presented with two unsatisfactory options: cover the repair costs myself or trade in the vehicle, which entailed going through another credit reevaluation process. Ultimately, the only compensation offered was a few additional oil changes, which were inadequate given the extent of the damage and poor service by management I encountered. Due to the profound impact this experience has had on my mental health, particularly as a nursing student with numerous obligations, I have chosen not to engage further with the dealership because nothing has been done. I highly urge potential customers to remain vigilant and unapologetic in voicing their concerns. Do not be swayed into removing honest reviews, regardless of pressure from management. While I recognize that the mechanics were courteous, it is ultimately the management's failure to take accountability and rectify the situation that has left a lasting negative impression. Had they acted responsibly to address my concerns by providing a new oil cover or rectifying the resulting damage, I would not have been forced to navigate these escalating issues. I'm grateful these factors were not worse; it could've easily gotten under my tires and caused an accident for other drivers and me. I will never again go to Mitsubishi or buy their products in the future, just based on my experience.

I was unfortunately the victim of a car accident and long and short of it it was totaled so I needed a new vehicle . I spoke with Jacob Bridge at Vero Beach Mitsubishi and let me tell you I was completely blown away about how calm and chill and easy going it was to work with not only him but everybody within that building . I've bought cars over the years and I loved it like getting a root canal sounded much better and the time it took me to test drive the car and keys I was amazed and very thrilled I highly recommend Jacob and Vero Beach Mitsubishi

I had the worst experience in my life with your sutherlin Mitsubishi dealership, I went in for a oil change they managed to convince me to look at car Chris promised they would run my credit once and they ran it 8 times said they can trade my car in and get what I wanted for 500 down and then once I signed everything and had keys in my hands and my insurance changed over they said they needed to cancel the deal or get 3500 cash they crippled my credit with 8 hard inquiries. I haven't been this sad and disappointed in my life your employees ruined my credit and had me sit 5 hours just to tease me and ruin my credit

Viking Automotive - Collapsed oil filter with bubbles. Again, no metal or debris

    Viking Automotive

    (15 reviews)

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. What I…read moreencountered at Viking Automotive in Vero Beach was not just disappointing--it was dishonest and unprofessional. From the beginning, basic expectations weren't met. Communication was slow or nonexistent, and when I did get answers, they were dismissive rather than helpful. I took my 2007 BMW Z4 3.0i E85 in for a straightforward diagnostic: rough cold start, a tire sensor issue, and a few mechanical noises. I was told it would take a couple of hours, which I was more than willing to pay for--especially if it meant getting a thorough, accurate assessment by their only BMW Mechanic! Instead, after about an hour, I found my car already sitting back in the lot with no phone call it was ready or an update. I was then told that nothing had been done beyond checking the oil, and that the engine was essentially "breaking down" due to supposed metal shavings and large debris in the oil filter. No one showed me the filter at the time. No one explained the findings clearly. I never even spoke directly to the mechanic. The written report was filled with vague language, like "possibly this" and "possibly that," which is not a diagnosis--it's guesswork. Despite claiming photos were taken, none were provided so I had to call and request them. Once I received the photos, I see this in the Subject of the email: * INSPECTION RESULTS FOR YOUR 2007 BMW Z4 ROADSTER* "3.0si" I Told them my Bimmer was a 3.0i ... did I receive another 2007 BMW owners diagnostic report?! And it's THEIR oil filter and diagnostic I received?!?! Are they THAT Unorganized & Incompetent? What's worse is what came next. After spending days stressed, believing my engine was failing, I had the car inspected by an independent mechanic. He reviewed the same photos and immediately identified what Viking called "metal" as air bubbles. When he physically inspected the car, he confirmed there were zero metal shavings or plastic debris in the oil filter--just bubbles. He also explained why the filter had collapsed, which was supposed to have been changed by a previous mechanic in Fort Pierce (obviously didn't change the filter, did they even change the oil)? After a cold start, changed AND filter, put in an additive all of which has quieted the tapping to ticking (intrinsic of the N52 per BMW) and improving. He then took my car for a drive afterward and stated my Bimmer has a strong engine! So now I'm left with a simple conclusion: either the Viking BMW mechanic, Colton, lacks the basic competence to distinguish between metal debris and air bubbles, or they knowingly misrepresented the condition of my engine, plus exaggerated damage, or diagnosed another BMW and sent me photos of another owner's Oil Filter, or simply LIED! None of which is acceptable. Kathy refused to do any other diagnoses as requested, nor will she do any repairs, and couldn't explain in-depth the diagnoses I needed explained. (She's a mechanic too??). The only person that should be explaining the diagnoses is THE Mechanic him or herself and Show ME the Filter! If they didn't want to work on an older BMW, they should have said so. Instead, they chose to provide a rushed, incomplete, and ultimately misleading assessment that caused unnecessary stress, wasted my time and money. Time IS Money! I would have gladly paid for a full, proper diagnostic and on MY CAR, Not someone elses. Instead, I paid for an hour of speculation and left with a completely inaccurate conclusion about MY vehicle's condition. I cannot recommend Viking Automotive to anyone looking for honesty, reliability, or professional integrity. There are far better options out there that actually value their customers, appreciate drivers that love their vehicle, and not only Do the Work, but stand behind it!

Took in a BMW 328 I with a whole laundry list of problems, Kathy was very helpful and gave me a…read morequote for all the work, most of the work has been completed. Very good quality cars running great.
