Had a dog walker weekdays for a couple of months. Walker was sweet but lost my keys with my address labeled on them. I changed my lock and gave her new keys. a few weeks later walker suddenly quit and did not return my (new) keys. Rover support could not offer a solution and had to change my locks again. I used Rover to locate a boarder (Angie) for my three-day visit to LA. Using the Rover app, I tried multiple times to pay, including reentering multiple times my credit card information, address, etc., all without success. i had told her of my multiple attempts to pay on the Rover App, that the App was not accepting my payment (the "pay now" button was whited out), and that I would bring cash ($300) if necessary. She had assured me that Goose was welcome and we "would work it out." Then, the night before my flight, she texted me on the Rover App that, without my payment (impossible on the App), she could not accept my dog ("Goose") for boarding. I quickly turned to an emergency source, but was and am livid with what I consider highly unprofessional conduct. read more

What a truly excellent first experience I had today with Rover Done Over! Let's just say I'm officially done taking my pets anywhere else - not sure why I would when this excellent service will come to my door. Booking was seamless, the tech arrived in the 2-hour window I was given, and the whole thing was so smooth. The tech that came was warm, professional and GREAT with both my dogs. Both pups arrived back at my front door looking fresh, smelling amazing and happy as can be. My only regret is that I waited this long to look into mobile grooming. Highly recommended!!! read more

Lori Palladino and her team, at ROVER DONE OVER, are amazing! I have two dogs, one a fidgety Chiweenie male - Oscar - and the other, a female medium sized-terrier mix, Prudence, who is lame in her right leg as a result of a knee surgery-gone-wrong. I am so afraid to touch her the wrong way or to even lift her, so naturally the idea of a groomer working with her, made me anxious, but I had to do something because her nails, as well as my Oscar's, were terrible overgrown (my husband passed in 2019, and he was the only one who drove...there is one mobile vet on Staten Island, who is apparently unwilling to come to this area, and NO groomers who will, either). I finally called ROVER, and spoke with Lori, who was so kind and patient with me...this is the first time I have ever used a mobile groomer. She and team member, showed up for our appointment right on time, and immediately, both of my guys wagged their tails and exhibited little tell-tale signs to me, that they were comfortable. What a relief...Lori lifted Prudence into her arms to take her on board the immaculate grooming station, with NO problems! Prudence's nails on her lame paw, were so overgrown, they were curling into her pads...Lori knew exactly how to handle the situation and cut the nails perfectly! My Oscar does not like his nails touched, and, again - Lori knew just how to handle the squeamish and squirming boy...in no time at all he was clean and smelling fresh, after his bath, had beautifully clean ears, and nails that no more impeded his walking! Aside from the exceptional grooming done for my most precious babies, the way I was made to feel comfortable, was so, so appreciated. I felt like I had known Lori forever. I truly believe that you cannot hide who you are, from animals; they have an extraordinary sense with which they are able to feel when someone means harm or if they are good, gentle humans who love animals...my guys let me know, right away, that Lori is the latter!! I will call her, from now on, when I need Oscar and Prudence to be groomed and I DO so look forward to seeing her and her team, again! It was a WONDERFUL experience! Oh...and the pricing is extremely reasonable!!! I recommend ROVER DONE OVER to all pet owners on Staten Island - I promise that you will be as impressed with them as I am!! read more

We found a stray dog almost a year ago and assuming his family would claim him eventually, we didn't rush to groom him but after almost a year (and after a pretty choppy attempt at home) he was due. They are great!!!! The prices are very fair, they come to you, they accommodate all dogs including dogs with special needs, and they are very caring and careful with your dog(s). I wouldn't go anywhere else. All three of mine absolutely HATE baths, and the owners understand that and are very patient and make it a comfortable experience for them, which makes it a great experience for me. The was my first time using their service. My Freddy seemed to have enjoyed his haircut. Lori was very nice. I think I wasn't clear enough that i wanted Freddy to stay fluffy. Lori had told me she does dog all one length. I was concerned that his ears weren't cleaned out and called Lori the next day. We have been playing telephone tag. My Freddy was matted in his legs and under his neck. And I take responsibility for that. Freddy is stubborn when I try and groom him:). He is a Cockapoo with poodle curly hair:) read more
