I would give them 4 stars for this. As far as the overall experience, not so great. When I first came in, it took them 30 minutes to finally get me in after my appointment date and I felt forgotten. I am fairly new to going to Salons and when I was asked about "cut types", I didn't have any idea there several different kinds (blunt, flat, etc). I said I don't know I was not given an explanation at all on what they were, despite asking. I was asked again what I wanted and was pressured into saying "blunt" without knowing what it was. For shampoo and conditioner advice I asked if there were any other types suggested for my hair. I was told "Well there's this type but I don't like it because it makes my hair smell funny" and not addressing what and why it's good for long, straight hair of my type. I asked again if there were other brands that might be cheaper, and she said, "no I would just go with ______ brand" I felt like I was trying to be sold a product. She was not experienced at all with giving me more affordable choices or with different kinds of shampoo. I received feedback from the stylist that made me feel extremely uncomfortable when she asked what I did for a living. I felt she was a little too nosy and our conversations were extremely awkward such as stating "well dog walkers are too expensive! But I'll still neglect my pet anyway." I should have let her know I am not a big a talker. I will most likely not come here again because of my experience with the attitude of the stylist that was suggested by the owner. However I am satisfied with my haircut and they did a wonderful job with it!

I was referred to Amanda by a coworker, and I don't believe I can sing her praises enough. As soon as I sat in her chair, I let her do her thing because she put me completely at ease. Everything about her was extremely professional, and I can honestly say I've never had someone pay as much attention to detail as her. The girl has spunk, and she had me laughing and at complete ease the entire time. The staff at Roberts are extremely friendly. And I tip my hat to the lovely ladies at the front desk who were super sweet and patient even though I called them like 50 times regarding my appointment. I will definitely go back... They have an awesome referral program where everytime you refer someone they get $20 off their first visit, and you get $20 off your next visit. He's also really hard to read...and so nervous about getting his haircut I had to go first (and yes, Jo is great... but I don't have nearly half the amount of hair he has and I'm not a teenager...sometimes I see something and I think it looks good and he's assures me it has no riz). So we are about halfway thru the haircut, like, a big hunk of length is gone and he turns to me and mouths "OMG," so I give him the ??? And he give me the look that all is well. He walked out of there straight-faced because that's what cool kids do, then turns to me and says, "I look good!!!" There may have been a Vogue pose or two. That is an amazing compliment to Jo's talent coming from a quiet, lowkey kid. He does look good. I have all of the texts i wish i could post the screenshots as it is so unbelievable but TRUE! i started my first appointment with her spending almost 1000$ and saw her many many times every month for 4 months spending hundreds during every visit to keep working on my hair to get it right. The first day i left the tape extensions she used were visible to others as people pointed it out, very embarrassing. But once i started kind felt stuck as i had already invested 1000$. As you can see from the photos, this wasn't even remotely close to what I asked for. She was unable to remove the dark pigment after using a remover twice, and promising that my hair would return to how it was before. Now I'm stuck with dark brown hair with a weird orange undertone that's turning more orange by the day. Extremely disappointed by this experience. I've never been this unhappy with my hair, and I can't even look at myself in the mirror. The stylist said she would reach out to me regarding scheduling another appointment for a correction, but she never did. Hopefully others don't have a similar experience.

I left with my hair nothing like the photo I showed her. When I messaged her and asked her if I could come in the next day to add more light color she said she was out 2 weeks. I was shocked sh wouldnt work me in. Then I asked for a refund and she said she didnt give refunds. The hair was so bad and some color was literally an inch from my scalp. What was worse than the bad color job itself was the horrible response and rude customer service I received. My reviews are always positive and this is my first bad review. I just felt so swindled I thought I needed to share. Super disappointed with my experience.
