The stench and condition of the bathroom was worse than any rest stop public restroom I've ever been in. By the time u laid down on the table for the piercing, once again her body odor was so overwhelming, I couldn't handle another second and had to make an excuse that I was having 2nd thoughts. I had such high hopes for this place and would love to try again if this is resolved.

I chose the jewelry I preferred and then I waited for a few minutes while the technician went to prepare everything to be sterilized for the procedure. It didn't take long before I was called in. She explained how the process would go and some of the things I would experience which was very helpful to me. The procedure itself had a quick painful moment. It didn't last long at all. Before I realized, we were done and my nose was sparkling with my new piece of jewelry! I wish I remember the name of the technician to give her a shout out, but if you're reading this, you were awesome :) Afterwards, I was explained the healing process and how I needed to take care of my new nose ring. Overall, it was a great experience. I think most importantly to me is that the staff made me feel safe, welcomed, and I felt informed of what was about to happen which me being nervous, made a huge difference! Ps. I gave Opal Moon a try for my latest piercing, and thanks to the troubleshooting from Yurgen and Tiffany, I think I've finally identified the issue and found the solution. My piercing from Yurgen has been healing beautifully with zero pain or irritation. They have a great jewelry selection compared to other piercing places I've visited in South Florida, with nice options for all price ranges. I've visited to shop for jewelry gifts before and they were a big help then, too. You do have to plan ahead to make sure that you're 100% on time for your appointment because they keep the shop locked for foot traffic, but I actually appreciate that. It keeps things from feeling too crowded and provides a much calmer atmosphere. They have art from local artists hanging on the wall for sale and seem really integrated with the community, which is a huge plus in my book.

I was referred to Babylon by a lot of my friends because they all said great things about the piercer. They said that she was nice and does a great job and to definitely go there because you will get a really good job done. I also read the reviews and I think that the person that they saw was Jess. So I went with my mom and I got the notarized consent form to get a nostril piercing. When I got there, I was told that Jess no longer works there and they said that the new piercer will take care of me so I didn't really think anything of it because I felt that if the reviews were good about the old piercer the new piercer should be just as good so I decided to get the piercing because I was already there with my mom. My nose piercing was not good at all. She was shaking the whole time and made me feel very uneasy. The whole nose piercing was very painful. After it was done, it was so uncomfortable that it made me scared and I had to go to another shop to have it looked at by another piercer. That piercer told me that it was the wrong jewelry and that it was too small and not the right thing to be pierced with to start. I had to get it changed and my mom had to pay for not only my nostril piercing at Babylon but also for the other person to put in a new jewelry to make the pain go away. She also didn't even tell me how I needed to take care of it. The piercer that fixed my nostril piercing told me that I was supposed to be given aftercare instructions and I was not told anything. This was supposed to be something that I was looking forward to and it only ended up being very painful and unpleasant for me. I don't understand why if somebody doesn't work at a place anymore that people are made to think that they do when the reviews are good. I was expecting a good experience like all my friends had. I am definitely not going back. I hope that anybody reading this doesn't go here either.

So, immediately, I wanted one, too. I have had four tattoos before, all cosmetic (2 eyebrows and 2 eyeliners). So this was a senior citizen whim fueled by my great love for Snoopy and wanting to have something done to match my kids. But I also wanted a purple rose, my favorite flower with my favorite color. So my daughter and I went to the shop. She had an old (not-so-good) cherry blossom tattoo redone, and I got my Snoopy with a purple rose. We absolutely love them! The artists are extremely friendly, oozing with talent, and work with you to get a rendition of exactly what you want before they ink the tattoo. (Shout-out to Jose and Cesar!) The place is very professional, clean (spotless), and bright. You even get to see the unopened ink (and it's expiration date) before it is used on you. They use a topical agent to lessen the pain. But it really was minimal and well worth it for the final product. Prices are reasonable. You can get an estimate before the work begins. P.S. I decided to add a smile to my Snoopy, and they did it the next day without any hassles and at no extra charge!

I wasn't sure if simply walking in without a prior appointment would be a good idea or not but it was perfectly fine. This place has about 10 (or more) different tattoo artists. I worked with Diego on mine. He was super cool and friendly. It's funny because as I was getting the tattoo done, I noticed several artists working at the same time, I realized it was rather quiet. You don't hear the drilling noise of the machines. And they are all wireless now too. I will definitely be coming back for a couple more tattoos with Diego.
