It's a huge space with a lot of different activities for kids and adults alike. The price is strange. 2 hours for 24, unlimited for 27. But what I appreciate is there is no tier system. Buy the ticket your kids can do it all. Rock climbing, trampolines, a huge play area with some decent slides for distance. The zipline was a favorite with my kids. Now a few thing that are strange some of the padding is in rough shape, some of the chairs to sit in look like they were found on the side of a road. And most staff are young and couldn't care less. But from the deep cuts of 90's rap playing, to just the overall vibe of an abandoned k-mart it was a decent time for my kids. I wouldn't mind coming back here.

This was one of the most disorganized family entertainment centers I've ever visited. We were…read morelooking forward to spending the day here, but issue after issue made it a frustrating experience. When we arrived, no one was running the zip line. Later on, we also found that no one was operating the high ropes course, the climbing walls, or several other attractions. None of this was communicated to us beforehand, even while staff were explaining the rules and requirements. If major attractions aren't going to be available, guests should be told before they pay or at least before they spend time waiting. The arcade experience was also disappointing. I spent just under $25 loading a reusable arcade card, but the employee at the front desk didn't seem to know how to add points to it. Instead, my account was somehow canceled and I was given a different card. When I later wanted to redeem prizes, the employee was on the phone, and it wasn't clear whether they even knew how to process prize redemptions. To make matters worse, the VR arcade game was glitched and ended up being a complete waste of credits. Large parts of the facility were also closed off. Multiple trampolines and sections of the jungle gym were blocked with literal crime scene tape, which made the place feel neglected and unfinished. The staff interactions were probably the worst part of the visit. One employee enforced the trampoline rules in an incredibly excessive way. A younger child jumped onto the same trampoline as Jackson (who is nearly 14), and despite Jackson not being the one who caused the situation, he was sent to a 10-minute timeout. After serving the timeout, he apparently returned about 30 seconds early and was sent back for another 10 minutes. When he came back again, the employee nearly sent him away a third time before our counselors stepped in. It felt completely unreasonable and like a power trip rather than an attempt to keep kids safe. Another employee told younger children to knock over a harmless foam Lego tower because it was supposedly "too tall," even though a different employee had already approved it earlier. The inconsistent rules made it seem like nobody was on the same page. The most unprofessional moment came from the employee running the zip line, who loudly said that "the kids smelled like ass." When one of the kids jokingly told him not to say that, the employee immediately threatened to send them to timeout for talking back. That's not an appropriate way to speak to paying guests, especially children. Even getting into the attractions was poorly managed. Several people in our group weren't given wristbands when we first checked in. We were later called back, made to sit through a rules presentation delivered through a megaphone that was far too quiet to hear, and even after a counselor asked the employee to speak louder, they didn't. We were then told to come up individually to get wristbands, only to stand around for several more minutes waiting for them to be handed out. Overall, the facility felt understaffed, poorly managed, and unprepared. Between closed attractions, broken games, inconsistent rule enforcement, long waits, confusing communication, and several rude staff interactions, it was difficult to enjoy the experience. I understand that every business has an off day, but there were simply too many problems during this visit to recommend it.

Please read the bulletin board since they rotate the direction of the track daily. There are two basketball courts with adjustable net heights that they will gladly lower if you ask nice and there are plenty of basketballs to use. One of the courts is also used for PIckleBall which they have leagues that you can join up if you call and pay their fee. There is also a section that is for stretching, small group aerobics, or any other small group class. In the lobby area there is a good amount of seats for people waiting for others to finish their run, basketball practice, or pickleball game. There is also vending machines for snacks and drinks. They have a good amount of stalls in the locker rooms and plenty of hooks and other cubbies to put stuff away. Please be aware of their schedule since they sometimes have basketball games in which they put bleachers on the track. You can access their current schedule on their website. Be aware that as of now they are closed 10:30-11:30 M-F for a preschool program. I love taking my friend's kid here to let him run around the track or play basketball with any other local kid his age that happens to be there. Such a blessing for the many cold months and rainy days.

This place was recently recommended to us a good place to snowshoe with our smaller dogs who are…read morenot able to break trail with us (plus, these two refuse to be voice controlled so they have to be on leash). The person who recommended this to us made sure to point out that we needed to enter on the Greeley Road side. We entered on the Tuttle Road side the first time we went which is marked no dogs. The Tuttle Road side is beautifully well groomed for crossed country skiing. My husband remarked that he has never seen such nicely groomed trails for free. Please note, that they do suggest a $2 donation for anyone who is not a Cumberland resident. Also, the Tuttle Road side is where they are dumping snow so there are dump trucks coming and going quite often. We did find our way to the dog friendly side and I have to say, we were not disappointed. Many times you will find the "dog side" not as well taken care of, but that is not the case here. They have trails groomed and others that many people have cleared with snowshoes. There are many trails to choose from so you can make a day of exploring around or just doing a quick loop. To note: snowshoeing and cross country skiing is allowed on all trails so expect a skier to come down a hill as you and your dogs are walking up it. They do have porta-potties available and they are stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, even in the winter! Huge Bonus. There are playing fields here as well. We absolutely can not wait to come back in the other 3 seasons to walk these trails. Cumberland has some of our favorite places to hike with our dogs and this is now at the top of our list!

Today while pitbike races resumed I was berated and provoked by a female with a yellow staff shirt on the track of Hemonds. Multiple spectators saw her and heard her provoking me. Mind you it's 90° today, I have shorts and a tank top on- she continued to not only yell directly at me, she then openly berated my clothing. Making comments saying I'm here with shorts on and no shirt... trying to be sexy. I'm here to ride, and race. There are so few females in motocross that we have to support each other. I will never be back and I will never suggest any of my friends or family ride at Hemonds. There is no room for that kind of hate in this sport. If you're a female rider please avoid this location.

I had many childhood memories here, back when it only had mini golf, water bumper boats, and go…read morecarts. Then they added the Sky Coaster about 25 years ago, an arcade, a ropes course, and more. The Sky Coaster is standing there, but is decommissioned permanently. The ropes course feels like it just showed up 4 years ago, but it's closed forever. No more water boats. The putt-putt has seen better days without an update. The go carts are tired and my 10 year old isn't allowed to drive one because she's 57" tall. Is anyone going to that bar/restaurant? After lots of expansions, it seems to be collapsing back to less than when it started. Needs some creative efforts to compete with everything else that can be found within 30 minutes.
