Our houses are one door down from each other - 500 ft, driveway to driveway. We talked to the clinic and they said it wouldn't be a problem to go to her house first and then come over to mine. About a month in advance. Fast forward to the morning of the visit. All of a sudden they said they won't do this and that I will have to bring all my animals over. I had taken a half day off based on the original arrangement. So that morning I have to scramble, rearrange my work schedule, create a space in my sisters garage for them to see my animals, and take the dogs over in several rounds. Not professional and not kind. The opposite. Dr Blake CHORTLES with glee every time she recommends a dental. And gets mad if you decline! (Notes in all caps in the patient notes lol). Meanwhile when I asked for help in figuring out how to deal with my 15 year old senior's incontinence I got NO suggestions, no discussion of potential solutions, just a statement that meds don't work on male dogs. Guess the difference in standard of care is that one gets her a couple thousand dollars while the other one doesn't get her any money. And if you ask respectfully why they changed their minds at the last minute you get gaslit like you're the problem! Seriously. Go elsewhere. There are so many vet clinics in the region that will not gaslight you like this, who still value their word and their clients, and where the care is as good or better. YOU DESERVE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT and you will not get that here. They want your silent, unquestioning compliance and your money. That's all.
