If you have a JPEG logo for example there will be a fee (which was under $50 with tax) to have Hometown convert the logo into the file type required for embroidery. When I went into the store to look at the logo once it had been digitized I was able to have changes made to it - delete words and realign other words. The staff were super helpful telling me what is common in terms of logo width and font size. If you have a logo already made they can pretty much execute any drag and resize action you could want. If you don't have a file already, while they don't design logos, they can set you up with stylized words. The staff were super patient as I picked out the colors to be used bringing me spools of thread to compare against each other and against the shirts I brought in and the digital image of my logo. I find their prices super reasonable and everyone was very friendly. It was just $12 per shirt that I wanted to have embroidered. I didn't buy the clothing there, but they had a retail floor of clothing and hats and a half ream sized catalog that you could purchase anything you could imagine from. My shirts were ready for pickup a week later and I was really happy with the quality and colors. I will certainly drop off more shirts soon and I'm thinking some hats too and maybe some of those cloth grocery bags.

Most crystal shops tend to be located out in the suburbs or farther out. The Rock Shop is located inside the same building as The Studio Cleveland and metered street parking is available outside. Given the nature of this less busy street, it's actually not super difficult to find a street spot, especially if you come during a non-peak time (think not Saturday afternoon in the city). The inside is a gorgeous, thoughtfully curated emporium of absolutely beautiful stones, jewelry, home decor, apparel, books and more. The minute you walk in, you are overcome with feelings of beauty and relaxation. If you're new to the metaphysical world, particularly crystals, know that there are a lot of fake products out there or unethically sourced items. Owner Sara takes so much pride in ensuring the quality and origins of her items and she (as well as her staff) are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell. I promise you, this will become one of your favorite places!

Essentially inside the first floor of one of the homes in Tremont (to give you an idea of the vibe), every surface is packed and curated somehow without looking cluttered and making you feel overwhelmed. Street parking is plentiful in the area. From older books to sets of glassware (that were stunning but I had no particular place for them at this point) to a little bit of everything in between. You can tell the owner put a lot of love and thought into the curation. The owner's mom was manning the desk when I was there and she was lovely. After the initial heartfelt hello I was left to browse in peace which is always my preference. I'm always here for a conversation but it's always easier to have at the end of my browsing whether I've bought anything in particular or not. Given the nature of the business I would assume there's quite a bit of turnover in the stock and I'm curious to come back and see what's new-to-me.

There were some soft openings in March 2026 that I heard about after the fact. They replaced Appletree bookstore which closed last year (2025). I visited for the first time on the 10th of April 2026. There are a few chairs to sit on as you browse books and the store is bright due to the light coming through from the windows. BOOKS -- I bought 2 books - The Second Chance Convenience Store and 84, Charing Cross Road. They offer a selection of mystery, sci-fi, historical fiction, horror, translated works, children's books, fantasy, etc. They have fiction and non-fiction books. The selections appeared smaller but since they are a new bookstore, I won't be surprised if they start getting more books in store. OTHER ITEMS -- Besides books, they also sell, stationery (pens, notebooks, etc), journals, bookmarks, candles, mugs, and numerous other items that are great for gifts. SERVICE -- I visited on opening day, on Friday, April 10th in the evening and I met the owner immediately upon walking inside. She was friendly and explained the layout of the bookstore. PARKING -- There is a free parking lot behind the bookstore. The employees were nice & asked if we'd be back for the BIGGEST sale in December when they open the entire warehouse. I'll be looking forward to that. This is a great place for educators to get things on the cheap. Prices are even less than the book fair prices. Also, if you sign up on their website you get a coupon off your purchase. Not a bad deal. I'm looking forward to December.

Not to mention the collection of CDs, DVDs, vinyl, VHS tapes... The books are in good condition, and checked for proper condition upon checkout. I found the pricing to be as expected. Today was my first time visiting Book Brothers, and I must say--I will likely be back again soon.
