This cozy bookshop has all the aesthetics to transport you to another world based on genre. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of unique gifts for book lovers. Highly recommend!!

This place is really cute! it's actually spread over two old houses that are adjacently located. It's very well decorated, definitely leaning towards fantasy and romance, and mostly fiction. There was a fun local history section and some great art and coloring books. The themes are fun, and they definitely have put in a lot of effort to create a really great space! Because I'm a really fast reader, I tend to lean into the library and buy used books over new, but I can see myself coming back just for the vibes, and maybe some gift items!

Black Cat books has two houses within a stones throw of each other, so make sure to check out both! Each house has different focuses of books; one is children's, teens, mystery, horror, popular titles. The other house is fantasy, romance, sci-fi. (I think I got those all right? Haha) Each room in the house is decorated to match the theme of the genre!!! It's really amazing! It's like a museum, magical world, and bookshop all mixed into one!

Unique quaint bookstore located near the downtown square in Medina. It's fun to shop here! Cool decor! Good selection of books & fun little gift items for book enthusiasts. The prices are good too. If you shop here , be sure to check out both floors. Take your time to check out the decor. The place fits its name well.

Such a cute book store. I finally got to check out their second building and the amount of time they put to make the place look cozy and inviting is amazing! Any book lovers out there I definitely recommend you taking a trip out to see this store. There was a lady who was working the register (I think her name was Daniela) she was the sweetest person I've ever talked to. We talked about books and some of the bookmarks. Their prices are reasonable. Support local book stores so places like this can stay around!

Unique selection of books (spooky, mystery, local, popular, YA, kids, etc. ) and fun witchy and bookish themed merch.

Not a fan of their hours but so happy to have finally made it here! This place definitely qualifies…read moreas a hidden gem or a less-traveled CLE shop. I could easily spend hours here, and did, last Sunday! What gorgeous decor, layout, vibes and selection they have! Workers were really friendly as well. The prices of books were high though--no discount at all for new books. Fine to support local but this is why the library will still always be my favorite. What I was confused about is how the books are organized because it is not by author nor by used/new. I'm pretty sure new books were placed right next to pre-owned ones on the same shelf... I did enjoy all the gift and merchandise displays. They were all set up in a way that looked irresistible to buy! My BF bought this photography coffee table book he was really excited about and I got a children's novel illustrated by Jon Klassen (big fans!).

The people working there were very knowledgeable and friendly. The book collection alone is incredible. There is multiple room rooms and the sanctuary holds very old and important books and is definitely interesting to look around in. They also have a cute gift shop that has very cool gifts and handmade items as well. Totally a great find if you are looking for something fun to do, or just looking for a few books.

I found an absolutely gorgeous set of His Dark Materials from 2008. Just stunning books. Great…read moreprice on them too. This place is really great if you're looking for "their type"...which seemed to be Christian definitely, nationalist maybe...so if you're into that you'll love it. There WERE sections for diverse topics-they were just either empty or nearly so. Maybe a bunch of witchy liberal first peoples recently came through and they haven't recovered? There were whole aisles devoted to Christian books. All in all, not diverse but they do have nice books if you are looking for what they carry.

Love that there is a hole-in-the-wall style book store in little ol' Wooster. It's just one of many…read moreshops that really "make" this little town. This shop has two floors packed to the brim with about any kind of book imaginable. An entire children's section, foreign language books, old collectors books, and more. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.
