Several insurance companies were acquired and are now serviced by Wilcac Life Insurance Company -…read morePO BOX 305017, Nashville, TN 37230-6907. As an agent, I have three (3) companies with active policies on an insured(s) whom policies are 25-to-30 years in force & again, of previous insurance companies. No issues here - haven't experienced any servicing problems. 1-844-877-6907 Had a death claim this year (2022); we did not experience payment difficulty!

I am a retired insurance agent with 34 years in the life and health industry and I have never seen…read morea company so disorganized and limited in answering what I consider simple questions. A. Written correspondence comes out of Clinton Iowa. When I googled to find the largest employers in Clinton, Iowa. Wilcac does not even register on the list and the last employer on the list had 14 employees! Yet, Wilcac shows domicile in Lousiville, KY. Riddle me that batman? B. Filed a claim and sent all the paper work requested in return receipt request - arrived July 14th. l called Wilcac and the only information I could obtain was that it took 10 business days to process. C. Called on the 28th of July and was instructed that their system was down. D. Called on the 29th of July and was instructed that they were running behind. Rep said I needed to send in information. I asked the rep to look at the cover letter that packet of completed forms and death certificates that should have been scanned in. Rep came back and said everything was there but the claim was in processing. I asked to speak to someone in processing and was informed that processing does not talk to the public. I then requested to speak to the reps supervisor. When the supervisor did get on the line I was provided no answers just the same - we're running behind. E. I called again on a August 7th, same song and dance from WIlcac rep. I asked for a supervisor, no supervisor available. Request supervisor to call me back when a supervisor was available - to date no response. F. I received a letter from Wilcac on Friday afternoon the 7th of August dated July 6th - standard letter with another death claim form asking me to complete it and send it in. G. On Saturday the 8th of August I received two letters from Wilcac. One notified me that they were processing the claim. The second letter notifying me that they needed a certified death certificate with the cause of death, manner of death, date of birth and social security number. I checked the insured and primary beneficiary death certificates that were sent in. All information was included although I do not see what difference cause of death and manner of death have to do with a claim of death? I can tell you this from 34 years of insurance experience. It is my conclusion that this company is ran by a group of juveniles whose primary objective is not to process paperwork in a timely manner but to quantify their position by finding hurdles to delay the process and avoid providing answers to claimants who deserve and desire answers. An insurance company is only as good as the people who work and represent the carrier and Wilcac Life Insurance sits at the bottom of the barrel. If I could give no stars I would. FYI - Wilcac is owned by Wilton Re Holdings Ltd who also owns Texas Life Insurance Company. I suggest avoiding both insurance carriers at all cost. Life insurance is for the insured providing a benefit to the listed beneficiaries, not for the benefit of the carrier.

Extremely frustrating experience with Progessive Insurance through Southwestern Insurance Group. We…read morehave called at least 4 to 5 times trying to reach the agent who originally signed us, and not once have we received a call back. We're also received texts asking us to call, but when we do, no one answers- and again no follow - up. This became especially aggravating when we needed something time sensitive handled - updating our loan number for a refinance which should've been a simple request turned into an unnecessarily stressful situation due to the complete lack of communication. At this point, we have lost confidence in this office entirely. We are planning to switch insurance providers and will be possibly filing a formal complaint regarding the lack of responsiveness and support. When it comes to Insurance, basic communication should not be this difficult. I would not recommend this Office to anyone expecting reliable service.

Absolutely terrible experience. I requested cancellation of my policy multiple times in writing,…read moreyet they refused to cancel it. My new insurance company even sent formal cancellation letters, and they still claim they have "nothing on record." Before trying to cancel, I spent time trying to set up a policy renewal meeting with Justine, who inevitably clearly had no idea what she was talking about and didn't even have my information prepared. It completely wasted my time. After that, Brian and/or Thomas repeatedly called me during business hours even though I specifically requested no calls during those times. I also repeatedly asked for cancellation and no further contact, which was ignored. On top of all this, their quotes are outrageously expensive compared to other insurers. Unorganized, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating to deal with. At this point I'm just hoping this doesn't end up costing me hundreds of dollars for a policy I cancelled over a month ago and already replaced with new insurance.
