After hunting for the office at the wrong address, I called, to get the most rude, unapologetic person saying it;'s not their fault their address is wrong on every website! I should have called in! Wait! I called for the appointment. They couldn't say "The address is wrong on every website"? No, I was at fault for not knowing that! If they can't handle getting their address corrected, and the doctor seems to be aware of it and doesn't do anything about it, how well can they handle medical care? If they are unaware of how to change an address on Yelp, their own website, on any search engine, can they use the Internet at all? I was appalled by both the lack of common courtesy and the reprehensible way in which the office staff handled my calls. I wouldn't see this doctor if he paid me.

I also found a wonderful integrative/functional medicine doctor who was able to find that I had low thyroid, low NK cells and B cells and low B, D and Selenium. So, no doc - it "ain't all in my head." Then, I get a phone call out of the blue to reschedule my abdominal ultrasound after 8 months of not hearing from them. So, why not. My insurance covers it... doesn't hurt to see what is going on. However, in light of the coronavirus school shut downs and working in a school needing to prepare for that and for my own children, I thought it was best to cancel. I mean, Who really wants to go to a doctor's office right now unless they absolutely need to and really need the help! So, I call to cancel. The rude, completely unprofessional woman on the phone asked me why I was canceling. I told her why. Her response was, "Whatever!" Wait, what?! I just laughed, but no way in hell would I ever return to such a negative environment. Sorry you just lost your $2000 or whatever you charge for your ultrasounds.

I was told the doctor would not see him because his case was considered "complex." This was very upsetting, as his actual records and labs clearly show he has only been treated for minor medical issues. It felt like this decision was made without properly reviewing the information provided. No evaluation of my son ever took place. Fortunately, we found a more qualified provider who carefully reviewed his records and began treatment. I would recommend other families confirm how thoroughly records are reviewed and what criteria are used before scheduling with this office.

He has a huge amount of experience and certifications, which is absolutely what you want to see from a medical professional. The office is comfortable and is really great about scheduling as well. I have never had a problem finding an appointment. They really work with patients and understand peoples' scheduling demands. I like that there is a cozy feel to the place as well. I was so tired of getting lost in giant practices. At Dr. Angyal's when I walk in, I'm sure to be made comfortable.

Checking in took a bit of time because there was one receptionist but that's nothing out of the ordinary. She was very nice and checked me in with a smile within (8) minutes. I was called within (4) minutes to see the nurse who proceeded to take my vitals and asked me to wait for Dr Grossman. I waited long enough (30 minutes) that I worried I may have been forgotten. When Dr Grossman walked in, all my concerns dissipated. Here was a very pleasant gentleman who immediately put me at ease with a number of questions deriving my social history (without my ever realizing this was the purpose of the questioning as I was instead wondering why he was being so nice to me lol). I think he took an excellent medical history and did a very thorough job of "getting me in the books" as a first time patient. He asked after not only my symptoms - but also my concerns. He performed a physical exam. He was incredibly kind and patient even though I am one of those patients who comes in rarely and has multiple concerns at the same time. He went above and beyond and made sure he addressed everything - advising me on what I can do next time to address further concerns. You might be concerned about wait times but consider it from my perspective: Here's a physician taking his time and performing a thorough examination of you while he's there with you. He's taking the time to listen to all of your concerns - suggesting further testing if necessary - and coming back to wrap things up with you at the end. Total gentleman; Class act; Excellent and highly competent physician. I found it notable that X-Ray facilities are in house - literally just a walk around the hallway. I was in and out of radiology within (6) minutes. It can take 10 minutes just to catch an elevator at a hospital! Again - wood paneling and wooden changing room doors and wooden lockers; purple trim everywhere. They should use NYU wood paneling and purple trim in every corporate office in the country to increase productivity and satisfaction.
