I will never do business with these fools again. I have 2 stories. A number of years ago he would fax my office 14 pages of unsolicited promotions every day. This would tie up my fax machine and use up my toner and paper. I called and asked him to quit and he became verbally abusive. I instructed my secretary to to tie up his fax machine for the next 4 hours with copied dictionary pages. This angered Ol' Roy and he offered to come over to my office and kick my ass. Although I accepted his offer, and tried to schedule him an appointment, he never materialized at the front desk so I just let it go. I knew he was an ass but my wife tells me quite often that I am as well. They really do have a good parts selection however. I needed to rebuild my boat trailer several years later. Thus I figured I would bring it to the store and they could sell me just what I needed so I wouldn't have any waste. His daughter waited on me and carefully recorded exactly what I needed. News flash... she counted wrong, sold me more than a hundred dollars of extra overpriced hardware, ( like WAY overpriced) and of course as you have read in other 1 star posts, would not offer a return. There was no consideration for it being her error of course. This is the reason I am absolutely certain that it was his daughter. She too is a pure bred whack job. The fruit never falls far from the tree Anyway skip to today. Savannah is not really that big of a town and bad news gets around or at least I hope it does. I just got back from Richmond Hill where I just bought a $5,200 equipment trailer from his competition. To summarize: Roy Newsome is an ass. His business reflects this and he treats his customers like we are all out to screw him so he will screw you first. Don't believe his 5 star reviews, they were internally generated. Is just spoke to Roy Newsome himself and asked if he could tell me who installed 5th wheels in the Savannah area. Because I didn't buy the hitch from him he wouldn't tell me who installed them. If I were his hitch installer I wouldn't like that one bit. As a potential customer of this business, I now wouldn't spend 5 cents with them and if this is their attitude, no one else should either. Uncle Roy is a liar and a crook. He will sell a damaged trailer you find the damaged when you get home 30 minutes away. Call Uncle Roy ask him do I need to bring it right back to exchange it and he said No I don't have another one here I will call you when I get it in. He kept me on the hook until my check cleared. Next call after check cleared he told me it was paid for and it was now my trailer. Buyer beware of Roy Newsome!!! read more

Horrible Customer Service. Bought a Trailer and the frame buckled 1000 lb under the weight capacity. Came back a day after purchase a day after the first load with a dot weight ticket in hand and was told no returns or exchanges he would pay $300 for repairs. Went to where he sent me they said repairs were $2500. This trailer was not as described. I had to get the police involved, cancel the check and then only after the threat of court did he take the trailer back hours later. Probably after consulting with his attorney. I would never buy from here again. I understand as a small business owner you cant be on the hook for everything but as his customer he should have taken care of me after only one day and selling me a product not as described, and fought with his supplier to get paid back. He has alot more power buying multiple trailers than I do. By the way if you look at his site he says he makes all the trailers himself. Clearly a lie. read more
