They have very few parking spots and a majority of them are take by the big tour buses. The parking is $6 dollars and you will need to show proof of parking when entering the temple. Also, the entrance fee is $10 for adults and I believe it was $6 for children. At the entrance you can also purchase food for the fish and birds, which I highly recommend if you are brining little ones. The temple is absolutely beautiful and very well taken care off. Just be respectful when walking around and observing. Also, if you plan to enter the temple you must remove your shoes and they have a rack on the right hand side of the building. There are also people selling local craft and some food as well. Overall this was a wonderful experience and I think it is very family friendly.

I obviously didn't plan this lol So we called a few places and I remembered seeing Hawaii Voice on the news and I was always inteigued about the experience of this place. We called and they could accommodate us right away. We headed there and they had the beautiful room all ready to go. The room was huge and clean! Decorations were colorful and bright. The couches were very comfortable and clean. The TVs were HUGE! They were the biggest screens I've ever had for karaoke. The system has plenty of features, and for some, it may be "too much". They offer they're own karaoke catalog system, an older karaoke system (no videos, just lyrics), and YouTube was also integrated. One of the karaoke systems was cool cause you could see the music videos and can sing along. The only thing we noticed for some songs, the synchronization of music and lyrics were off so just make sure you know the song, otherwise, you're gonna be a beat behind. Also, the YouTube system didn't allow ANY song to be sung. The system didn't support some well-known karaoke channels because of the video formats. Lastly, the choice of Japanese songs was bare, but that's not really a problem if you don't sing Japanese songs. They have drinks and food, but we only ordered drinks because we already ate...and we like alcohol. They had a fairly good selection for hards and beers. Sorry, I cannot give an opinion on food. Staff is awesome. We met the owner and he treated us so well. To squeeze us in on a Saturday was a treat, and also a lesson to us on better planning (well, my friends, not me because this wouldn't have happened lol). BUT "The Rhelm" opened two months ago and is only here for a limited time and if your kids have seen everything on Oahu already, this is something DIFFERENT. It's not like a discovery center. It's not a museum. It's not a playground. You basically walk into a day in the life of the town of Wentrus. As soon as you ("the traveller") arrive, the villagers will take you to their various workshops where you can earn stamps on your passport when you do good deeds. Weaving and tinkering are just a few of the good deeds that my kids got to experience. HOURS: Fri 6-9pm, Sat 9a-9pm, Sun 9a-6pm. You can come whenever you want during these hours, they put a colored dot on your card so they will announce when your one-hour time limit is up. It goes by pretty quickly. LOCATION: Aloha Tower Marketplace, ground floor, across Gordon Birsch. I think they're only here til the end of September but I'm not even sure about that. PRICE: $14.95 for one hour. Other party packages are available too (ie $250 for 15 kids for a 2hr private party). PARKING: not validated. $5 flat rate (weekdays after 4pm, weekend days) *cue the reality music* So all the pictures I posted are in the square footage of one store, so this place is not really that big. Do NOT bring babies, toddlers, strollers (see age recommendation 4-12yrs), because there isn't room for all of that and it won't make sense to them anyway.
