When I arrived the airport I tried to check my luggage, but could not locate the RAM desk, I was point to a kiosk that served several airlines that is manned and serviced by 'Swissporte." Being early due to my previous flight from the USA, through Virgin Atlantic, I understood that they were not accepting luggage yet and waited. When the luggage counter opened, I went to check my luggage and wait for my flight. As I waited my flight became delayed. So, I again went to the counter to get help; either from not leaving until the next day and staying in London with friends or a later flight. I was told I had to speak with a customer service representative who was located on the 2nd level. However, Merel, was unable to help me at all, other then to tell me to wait and that the station manager was not available and couldn't usually be found other then when he was at the gate. I waited a little longer and then realized as the flight was continued to be delayed that I would not be able to make my connection to Agadir. So I went back to speak with Merel but she also had magically disappeared. Luckily a very nice agent who represents Etihad Airlines was able to somewhat help me a bit. She was able to get a hold of her supervisor who was finally able to get Syed Khouli (pardon the bad spelling of his name), who is the station manager for RAM, on the phone and he informed me through her that there was a flight at 00:10 and I would be booked on that. Not ecstatic about it, I was happy I was going to be home to my parents that night. However, not truly trusting what I had been told due to the various issues I already had and the misinformation I had been given since the beginning. So, I went online and checked on glihts and saw there was no flight at 00:10, and the first available flight was at 10:40. At the same time my mother had called and was told the 12:10am flight was only seasonal. I am at awe that your own employees at the airport knew less then what my mom could find out by making a phone call or I could be simply looking at your own website. At this point I demanded to talk to Syed, because the last time I was stranded at the Casablanca Airport overnight, I had to sleep on the floor with cockroaches, mice and rats that also in habituated the airport. I wanted to see what my options were even if it was staying in London, with friends who live there and flying on Tuesday, December 22nd, at normal hours. However, Syed was supposedly still accounted for or reachable even after they announced our gate at Heathrow as gate 3. I made it to gate 3 and was finally able to speak to Syed but not until I was the last one to board. He assured me I would be taken care of and due to all the issues and that he would see about the inappropriate behavior of the Swissporte agents who could not access ANY pertinent information about my flight. They treated me like I was a bother for even trying to figure out what my options were. When I finally spoke to Syed he was completely indifferent until I mentioned a very close family friend that owns hotels in Morocco and is an important figure here. As soon as he heard our family friend name he realized he should put a better effort forward. It was at that point he promised I would have a room and meals provided for me when I got to Casablanca so I would not have to sleep among the vermin as I did years ago when I had the misfortune of using that airport and getting delayed. I will say that after spending three hours in the Casablanca airport, you have guys have done a great job renovating. So there are some congratulations to be given, but that's were it stops. Honestly I could have stayed in London an extra night, stayed with friends or figured out a situation where I would not have been continually traveling from Saturday, December 19th at 18:00 (EST) to Tuesday, December 22nd. Worst airline experience of my life -- avoid at all costs This is hands down the worst airline I have ever dealt with. Royal Air Maroc does not have real customer service, and whatever "customer service" exists at the airport is handled by third-party staff who do not actually work for the airline and have no idea how to resolve issues. I was traveling from Barcelona to Miami with a stop in Casablanca. At the counter in Casablanca, the staff did not speak English or Spanish. They asked for my ESTA, which I provided. My ESTA was valid, but they clearly did not understand how to verify it. They took so long "checking" my documents--without knowing what they were doing--that I missed my flight. After missing the flight due entirely to their incompetence, they told me the next available flight to Miami would be on December 29, which was already fully booked. They offered no alternative, no rerouting, no assistance, and not even a return ticket to Barcelona. They also provided no hotel, no food, and no support whatsoever. I had no choice but to buy an additional ticket back to Barcelona for €268, completely out of pocket. When I returned to Barcelona, my luggage was lost. It was originally a carry-on, but I was instructed by the airline staff to place it in the aircraft. That bag contained heart medication and gifts for my family. The Royal Air Maroc counter in Barcelona was closed until December 29, so there was literally no one available to file a lost luggage report or help me in any way. I went back to the airport on December 29, and they still had no idea where my luggage was, even though I clearly told them in Casablanca that I would be flying to Miami regardless. When the luggage finally arrived days later, it was damaged. Because of their errors, language barriers, and complete lack of knowledge, I had to incur additional expenses for clothing, food, medication, and replacement luggage.
