It started making a loud almost grinding sound and the balance was off. The Appliance Doctor came to my house and only turned it on and listened to it for five minutes at most and then said that the machine needed a new baring and springs and that it would cost around $400 to repair and then recommended that I buy a new machine. I took his advice and bought a new machine and had to pick it up in Mesquite. When I got home and moved the old washer I found that there was a drain pipe stuck up in the bottom of the machine. Had the appliance doctor actually looked at my washer instead of only spending a few minutes listening to it and then collecting his $55 "service call fee" he would have been able to diagnose the problem and save me a Saturday driving to Mesquite, buying a new machine, and now another day returning the new machine that is not even needed. I do not recommend this appliance doctor and would recommend you not waste your time having him diagnose and/or fix your appliance.

The GE's drain hose was freezing up and not draining properly - instead of removing the back of the refrigerator to inspect the entire hose Mr. Gale simply disassembled the entire freezer and poured water down the line and blew air through the line. Upon completion of his services "Mr. Gale" determined the problem was resolved and presented us with a bill for $260.32 (we were shocked) our check cleared the same day. Less than 2 months later the same problem transpired - A message was left for Mr. Gale with absolutely NO acknowledgement. For $260.32 you would think Mr. Gale would stand by his work - he doesn't. Think twice before his company for services, and if you do, make certain to ask what his rates and warranties are - his prices are outrageous and he has proven he has absolutely NO integrity when it comes to his customers. Mr. Gale has personally demonstrated extremely poor business ethics and does not warranty any of his work.
