My husband and I recently purchased a GE slide in gas range with a griddle in the center from Royal Appliances. We started our journey on Friday, September 27th and completed it on Monday, September 30th. We were assisted throughout the process by Martina. She was wonderful! Very personable, friendly, efficient and attentive. She immediately put me at ease and answered any questions I had. I really appreciated her integrity, honesty and genuine interest she took in me as a customer. I wish everyone who works in customer service/sales were like her. Danielle was great with having everything pretty much ready for me before I went in to the office. I'm giving a one star rating because of techs can't seem to get their stuff together. I've been wait for 4days for the vent that get attached to the dryer and they can't seem to bring the correct one. Friday deliver for the washer and dryer was installed but they neglected to make sure washer was working properly...neglected to run a cycle to see f the water is running in the washer. They had the wrong vent so I was told that someone would be out on Saturday by10am to install the correct dryer vent. I was told that a tech would be out with the correct dryer vent and the washer wasn't hooked up correctly either. So I called Royal Appliance and they knew nothing about someone coming out. I was added on the schedule for Sunday. Tech came out to fix the flow of the water into the washer but AGAIN didn't bring the correct size dryer vent. Tech said he was going to Lowe's and return is a bit....waited two hours before I called Royal Appliance and got an excuse that the TEXH FORGOT TO CALL ME BACK and he couldn't find the vent. Now I have to wait another day to get a one day service that never happened. Is a shame cause the ladies in the office were great. I paid off the washer and dryer and I won't be using them again! ***STOP AND READ*** Bought a $4500 refrigerator that they would warranty but after one fix, they have decided to ignore me. Keep in mind, I am not a rude person, I am a nice guy but come on! I even feel bad writing this review but thought I would save you some money so please read! The food continues to freeze in areas of the top compartment. They came out once a few months after buying it to replace a thermostat only to find that the issue was something else. Not only that but the left handle ledge cracks every time we open the fridge, how embarrassing! Tech states he would call once parts needed come in and never heard back. I called and called and called and called just to get same run around "part is not in quite yet, we'll call you once it's in." Months go by and no call so I decide to follow up and same run around. Months later I follow up once again and part is finally in, tech will be here Wednesday and guess what? No show! I call Thursday and was told he'll stop by this afternoon and guess what, no show! I call Friday morning and tech states he'll be in around 4:30 - 5 and guess what? No show! I call at 5 since they close at 6 and they stated tech will be there in 45 minutes, 45 minutes later guess what? No show! Save your money and go elsewhere! They'll sell you anything but won't guarantee a thing! Do you and your family a favor, shop at another place. Horrible service! Truly disappointed. read more

I get it, things were tough with COVID wreaking havoc on our lives... but eventually that has to stop being an excuse for poor customer service. I bought an entire kitchen of GE Cafe appliances from Royal. The staff was excellent. Valerie was exceptional, kind, knowledgeable and got our entire order processed and set up for a quick delivery. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After all was paid for and they had my money they stopped caring about what I needed. I waited for months for my stove, and it was delivered damaged. They told me it's GE's problem and to contact them. They also delivered the wrong dishwasher, and the wrong microwave. The dishwasher is comparable so I didn't mind, but the serial numbers didn't match up for the $1,000 rebate I was entitled to. I called and they issued a new receipt but told me not to include the microwave because they would replace it. They brought the correct one about 6 weeks later but it was smashed on the side, so the delivery guy didn't install it. 3 months later, I lost out on my rebate because of them and still don't have the convention/microwave I paid for, and I still have a defective $2,150 stove. They won't answer my calls, or texts now. read more

I wont even give them one star, these people make money off hard working people by stealing, they sold me flooring and countertops and delivered the cheaper ones after paying $6000 to them for material and installation, the owner who says to be a contractor did not even do the job he sent someone else and we never thought of looking up the floor he installed, until it failed and now they don't want to take responsibility at all. Tried communicating directly with them and they will not do anything about it. we paid for Prescott Luxury and they installed the cheapest floor "Cyrus" its falling apart and lifting. The counter tops where supposed to be 2 inches and they put less than 1 1/2 inch. So after trying to reason with them multiple times, we will be taking them to court. Extremely unprofessional! Diana the owner takes all day to respond. Have dealt with them for years.. Carlos has fixed my appliances in a couple different properties. But I am done dealing with them. They are very unprofessional. They never answer their phone and their voicemail is always full. This last transaction I tried purchasing an appliance took all day just to message back and forth. The owner Diana told me I needed to come and pay for it in the store that they do not do payments on the phone or online. I told her I would come the next day in the morning. Arrived the next morning at 10:20 am.. they were supposed to be open at 10. I messaged her at 10:30 told her I'd been standing outside of the store for 10 minutes. Went to another store to kill time. Went back there at 11:20 and they were still not open.. their delivery driver call me at 3 with my delivery that was not paid for. She called me back at 5 and told me that there was an emergency which was a lie. I gave them another chance and have them come out the next day and they brought me something that I was not expecting -an apartment size refrigerator. This is not what I needed. Her delivery drivers tried to call and again she did not answer. I spent all day yesterday looking for another Appliance in which I purchased and then canceled when she called me back just to give them another chance.. This is the worst business ever. I'm in the process of filing a civil suit against them right now for not following contract agreement with warranty. Bought a couch and recliner there and it broke in three weeks. Supposed to be covered under warranty. Almost 9 months later and still have broken furniture in my livingroom. Terrible service. I made an appointment 3 times to have my refrigerator looked at, I bought it from them and it's already been repaired once, all at 7am in different days. The first time they told me their service vehicle broke down and would call me to reschedule, never did. I called back for them to come back out, was told 7am on a Thursday, never showed. I don't post reviews much but I appreciate those I read when determining a purchase which is why I felt I should post my experience with Royal Appliances. We were in need of a new fridge and found Royal Appliances on Yelp. As it is similar to a scratch and dent store we were a little leary as to what to expect, but were extremely pleasantly surprised! We bought a fridge from Estephanie and she was a delight to work with. She explained the "final sale" policy and assured us that we had a year guarantee and if they couldn't fix it we could exchange it. Well the fridge we bought was normally $4200 new at Best Buy and Home Depot. But we were able to get it for $1700 new at Royal Appliances, but with a small dent by the handle. When it was delivered it made ice but wouldn't dispense water. Royal Appliances kept their word and tried to fix it but ended up allowing us to pick another fridge from a new delivery a few weeks later. The fridge we got was even better than the first one and made the ball ice my husband wanted for his cocktails! Again it had a very small scratch by the door but really not that noticeable and we saved over $3500 buying from Royal Appliances! We were so pleased with the fridge we bought a very high end double oven gas and electric 5 burner stove from Royal Appliances as well! It has WiFi and can be turned on with a phone app! It had a small dent in the side but when it was installed you couldn't see it and it works perfectly! Again, the normal price on it at Best Buy and Home Depot was over $3800-$4100 but we got it for $1050... saving thousands! Now my kitchen has the newest and high end appliances for the price we would have paid for low end appliances. I absolutely love Carlos as well who came in and got things working and ensured we were pleased with everything! Our next purchase will be a new exhaust fan with heating lights to keep food warm! They didn't have it in stock but are able to order it new without dents for a good price as well! We also plan on a new dishwasher and microwave since the exhaust fan will be taking the place of our old microwave. So sorry about the long review but I really can't say enough about Royal Appliances. I would highly recommend them and will most definitely purchase from them again! This is the WORST place to ever go to!! Unless of course you like being lied to and ripped off. Martina knowingly sold me a couch and love seat that,she stated had only been on the floor 15 days, and saying they were the most durable and holds up well if you have pets and children. Yet, they started ripping and getting holes in it 2 days after receiving them. I tried returning them but they would not and tried to blame my dog. Even though my dog hasn't been on them. It was clearly wear and tear but they would not work with me. The owner Diana will avoid phone calls and not return one call. I called multiple times from my cell phone and they wouldn't answer until I called from a different number they didn't recognize on caller ID.I hope this place goes down and people can rest knowing there is once less place to scam them.
