But, I liked it so much I drove back 2 times in the last few months just to get my hair done. This last time, the whole shop dressed me AND did my make up before going to a high stakes desi wedding. I have never been more respected and cared for. They really want you to look your best and you can feel it. The prices are so reasonable too. This place is a gem. There was a bit of a wait when I arrived, so I grabbed something to eat and came back a little later. When I returned, I only had to wait a few more minutes. Overall, I think the service was fair for the $8 price point. There were a couple of things that affected my experience. I was next in line, but another customer approached, and I heard Rani reassure them, "Just two minutes." While I understand wanting to acknowledge waiting customers, it made me worry that my appointment was going to be rushed. Personally, I'd rather wait a few extra minutes if it means the person providing my service can take their time and focus on the client they're currently with. During the threading, the thread snapped several times. At one point, it snapped hard enough that it went inside of my closed eye. I know accidents happen, and I wasn't upset about the mistake itself, but it did make the experience uncomfortable. Slowing down a bit could help make the service feel smoother and more relaxing. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. Rani was very detail-oriented when it came to shaping my eyebrows. She took the time to make sure they were even, well-groomed, and nicely trimmed. Right after my appointment, I wasn't sure how I felt about the final result. Now that a couple of days have passed, I've actually grown to really like them. Looking back, I appreciate how clean and polished my eyebrows look. Overall, I'd describe my experience as mixed. The actual quality of the eyebrow shaping was very good, but the threading experience itself left me a little uneasy. I'm still undecided about whether I'll return, but I can definitely say that Rani does nice work when it comes to shaping brows.

I didn't catch the whole story and I thought maybe the person ahead of us was picky or something and didn't pay much attention. Well I was definitely wrong! When we also had an issue we brought it to Sana's attention and she automatically got defensive, started talking down to us (just like she did with the other woman) and even gave an attitude. I let her know that I was not satisfied with the job and that she messed up. My eyebrows were too thin and also uneven. When we tried to pay she insisted on charging me for the messed up eyebrows and tried to be sneaky about it. The amount would have been $5 for my eyebrows, $5 for upper lip wax, and then $5 for my mother's eyebrows totaling $15 BUT since my eyebrows had been messed up I didn't think it was appropriate to charge me for the full $15, and it should have been dropped down to $10. When I put my card in I saw her adding more onto the $10 charge making it total out to $17 before I even had the chance to add a tip! When I asked about the price she lied and said that there was a $7 fee for using a card. This is not true because 1. That is a ridiculously priced fee and 2. The last time we went there I also paid with a card and there was no fee! To avoid this made up fee we tried to pay with cash. Unfortunately the only bill we had was $100. When she gave us our change she stated that she was giving us back $85, still charging me for the messed up eyebrows! Luckily we counted the money and found out that this was also not true because we were actually only getting $80 back. She was trying to sneak an extra $10 off of us! We had enough and had to threaten to call the police! After that she finally caved in and gave us the correct amount back. I was going to tip for the services done but after everything went down I just wanted to pay what I owed and got the hell out of that shitty situation.

For starters im exteremely loyal to my current salon which isn't far from here - but i've noticed more and more wait times, and less attention to detail so i deceided to start the search for other options. Needless to say I cant wait to go back. The space is so much larger once you enter - they have a team of about 14-16? So they had a very short wait. She was about to get the thread I politely asked to sanitize her hand since she was just waxing her own armpits. Now I am already irritated. Instead of putting powder she puts aloe Vera and starts to thread my eyebrows. It's hurting so bad that I can feel my skin tear. I asked her to wipe off the gel and put powder. She's not happy that I told her to do that. Comes back again and starts to man handle my eyebrows. In all these years I have never had such a painful threading. I have to wait for it grow back so I can get it properly in shape. After a few hours I call back and I ask to speak to a manager and she's the f***** manager. Poppy Paul wow. Good way to be a manager. Atleast wax your armpit in a private room and not in front of customers. Update: month later the manager calls back to clarify that her name is Happy and she's the one that answered the ph. I must have mistaken the name. So Poppy is an employee and Happy is the manager.
