The first wow! was how quickly we received a response. We requested a quote and received a detailed reply within the hour. We appreciated the follow-up confirmation of our reservation 24 hours before our trip began via both email and text. The next wow! was when we met our driver at JFK. We were able to track the location of the car via app and knew exactly where the driver was at all times. The vehicle was a shiny black Cadillac XT6 and the driver was dressed in a dark suit (and wore white gloves! I can't think of many car service drivers that present at that level in this day and age outside of the major urban areas). High touch services continued during our ride. You want wifi? You got it. Would you prefer still or sparkling water? A fragrance-free environment. It felt like a mini spa treatment in a car as our driver calmly and competently slogged (if that's possible) through a nasty accident-induced traffic jam AND a torrential storm that flooded the highway while we dozed off and caught up on emails. The fare is all-inclusive of tolls, gratuity, number of bags, etc. No worries about nickel-and-dime surcharges. The whole thing was set up as a surprise for my fiancé and it could not have gone better. Our driver (Shane) was extremely professional and courteous. We were driven around in an immaculately maintained white Mercedes CLS 550. Logistics for this day were super important as I planned to propose to my girlfriend / fiancé, and was super OCD about all the details but things went so smoothly I could not imagine it going any better. Hot as hell and the AC in the back of the van was not working, the driver's was. Everyone was sweating profusely. My wife almost passed out. Emailed them on the way back and got a nasty, yelling phone call about posting a review, when I hadn't. Owner then proceeded to give our driver, who was good, a hard time about not knowing how to use the AC. I refuse to communicate with her any more as I don't think you yell at customers especially after they just buried a loved one. I should be thankful that I didn't get billed for overtime, considering her driver had to stop for gas and made a wrong turn and a 10-15 minute detour. She said she is fair...she didn't bill for the extra time. Next time if I want to spend $840 to get heat struck, I'll fly to Florida. Choose wisely, this was a mistake. Never once was there an apology or accepting of an issue, just a lot of yelling and refusing to accept responsibility.
