I took seven men's dress shirts for the regular laundry service, light starch on hangers, and was unpleasantly surprised to find that my (prepaid) total would be over $40, nearly $6 per shirt. When I asked the (rather impatient) owner why the price was so much, she explained that since this was my first visit and my shirts had not be cleaned by them before, an extra thorough cleaning process was needed. This "extra" basically doubled the price per shirt. She added that extra charge without asking me or informing me in any way whatsoever. I think she could see I was about to walk out when she relented and told me I could have the "regular" service if I wanted it. I said yes, at which point she informed me that I needed to pay up front. I paid about $28 and left. I checked with a few other cleaners in the immediate area and the average price I was quoted was under $3 per shirt, usually around $2.50-$2.75. A few days later on a Saturday, I went in to pick up my shirts, arriving at 3:55 pm. The same person greeted me at the door with "We close at 4:00". I looked at my watch, it was 3:56 pm. I asked if she wanted me to come back another day. I walked inside and was immediately greeted by the most foul stench you can imagine. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, but I had to wait while she finished her phone call. Eventually she got off the phone and reluctantly took my ticket and retrieved my shirts. After she got off the phone it only took about 30 seconds to get my shirts, but apparently this was too much trouble for her, and she acted like she didn't want to do it. I told her that I checked a few other places and the prices I was quoted. She said to me, "Then you better go there." As I wrote, I wanted to give this place a try. I'm sorry I did.

I believe they can do same day if you get there before 7am but I usually drop of one day, pick up next day after 5. Drive through window, great owners greet you, quick in and out. Never had any problems here in all my years and have had many suits altered as I grow and shrink through time. Open on Saturdays and very dependable. Highly recommend.

No, but they stand by their service and I rarely have an issue, and if I have any special items which require unique attention, we talk about the treatment plan kind of like any other service provider I am committed to. This is a family business and I've watched their sons grow up working there. I generally have shirts, suit, or an occasional sock laundered if I'm not careful. I recommend this business for the long haul.
