I love this place. I used to go to Wawa but won't go to another one. I love Royal Farms much more . The one at 108 Jackson Creek Road Grasonville Maryland is amazing . The store is very clean , the staff is kind and the manager Bill was wonderful. I have a disability and he took 15 minutes to help me and make sure me and my son were taken care of. Most of the one star reviews seem to be when folks come in on the rare occasion that there's not enough staff. Every time I've come here, both during season and off-season, weekdays and weekends, and morning and afternoons, it has always been well staffed and efficient. Plenty of pumps. Stopped at Royal Farms on the way home from the beach. Ordered a chicken tender meal, a sandwich and a second order of potato wedges. When they called my number i went to pick up my food, the second order of wedges was not with the order. I asked about the missing wedges, was told they put them in chicken tender meal box with the other wedges. We are in 2 separate cars, now i have to divide the wedges. When i go to McDonald's and order 2 small fries they don't put them all in 1 large fry container. Serve the orders the way they are placed! read more

We were coming back from a day in St. Michaels and we were hungry/thirsty. We could not have asked for a better place to satisfy all of our various hungers and needs than Royal Farms. There were 8 of us crammed into one van - most of us got the chicken tenders which were AWESOME!!!! I feel weird reviewing food from a gas station but, seriously, the chicken tenders are so juicy, flavorful and crispy on the outside - definitely worth driving for! The spicy chicken tenders deliver some serious tang and heat - a little dangerous as you start over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge - but those who got them LOVED them too. Honestly, you can get fancier chicken at fancier restaurants but why would you? These tenders were great. In fact, I am craving them right now!!! read more

Employees smoke more than they work. The employee smoke area is by the rear sign that says no smoking within 25 feet! Never anyone behind counter to assist with purchases. Inside and outside of store is consistently dirty looking. Food is sub par, chicken is usually old n cold. The should take a lesson from Wawa. read more

Do NOT use the air machine for your tires. It lets the air out instead of filling them! (And yes, I know how to use this type of machine) It's a free machine but does not work properly. Lady inside the RoFo claims the machine was serviced three days ago and "this has never happened before." The very nice tow truck guy who came & refilled my tire claims he gets tons of business because of this machine. (People stop to add air, only to have their tire flattened!) read more

Even less impressed than my last trip here. ALL registers are now self checkout, and they only have one (of 3) open. The person monitoring is less than helpful, watching you as if you were a criminal intent on armed robbery. Customer Service is no longer important to this (or many other) business. Okay. Being told that chicken strips are not made for 3 hours is just questionable. So he says "it was made 1/2 an hour" ago. Dare I get them. What's with all the negative comments about this place? 1st, when I review- I am review about Food,Drink and politeness of staff. Visiting from Cali, I had been wanting to try that special never frozen Chicken that my Bro David always talked about and it was delicious! They also had these small chocolate donuts in a small bag that were very tasty. I forgot the name but these small bagged chips came in many flavors and were great(Even Crab flavored). My family comes to Royal Farms every time we visit the beach. Generally, the service is good. However, today (10/3/21 5:30pm) I got chicken and needed ketchup. There was no ketchup on the condiment station ... I ask one of the young cooks for ketchup and he said ask the cashier for ketchup and ran to the back .. The cashier was very busy. This previously happened to me and I know the extra ketchup is in the cabinet below the condiment station .. That said I filled the ketchup container myself .. I highly recommend a huddle with your teammates focused on how to increase teamwork.. Anyone can take care of a customer no matter the area. read more

This place SUCKS!! Last time i came they had one person in the whole store behind the deli. obviously she was frustrated. what moron thought the self register would be good in a "convenience" store? They never work and they dont take my money. Today i was standing in line to pay for a soda and the cashier (on her phone) told be to use the self register and of course wouldnt take the cash i had and of course the lady went to the self register i had just used and my soda was still on the queue. Came here because they have the Tesla Superchargers which is perfect on my trip from Delaware to Washington DC. When in to get a snack and soda and go to the bathroom and felt that may have been the dirtiest Royal Farms I've been in ever. Stinky bathrooms, no napkins in dispenser, not an inviting place at all. Free air is great, but doesn't do you any good when the air machine is ALWAYS BROKEN! This seems to be a trend with RoFo.

Brand new location yet very bad run store. There's 5 Royal Farms on my way to work and this is my least favorite one. There's no trash cans most of the time because of the high winds in the area, but when there is trash cans by the pumps they're often over full and stink.. The air for tire machine is always broken. The bathrooms stink to the point of hazardous because of the low water usage. The microwave food is bland and the chicken sits so long it's soggy. The scrapple has so much fillers it's soggy and under-cooked. The staff is lackadaisical and has no motivation to improve the store. There's a Wawa being built down the road. That will probably be the best place to stop in the area. read more

Can we give negative stars? Negative 5+. It is 95 degrees outside. No tea made, no ice in the machines slushie Machine just spits out liquid. The store for being new is absolutely filthy. I love fried chicken and chicken gravy. Today was not good. Apparently royal farms is not serving chicken gravy; they are serving country gravy in their mashed potatoes. The chicken thighs were dry and over fried. I will not return except for putting air in my tires and portable air tank. The picture of mashed potatoes and gravy should be changed! read more

Nice, big location. It has a lot of gas pumps, so you never have to wait in line. Very well laid out store inside with a lot of space. The tire air pump is brand new and very modern. Great place. Even the stone work on the pillars is attractive. read more
